Their roof work is good, but don’t let them construct the inside of your house. My mom originally planned for the bathroom just to be done, but which they were doing the bathroom and she also asked them to check foundation. They claim it was “good” but no one visibly checked. They kept throwing papers at her to sign instead of sitting down explaining step by step. Instead of taking money. I would know because after my fiance had crawl down their and a whole foundation beam is barely holding on. Everything they did had started to crack as soon as she was told to get everything out of the pod in 3 hours, which she should have had more time to organize. Everything they took out never replaced, vents, fire alarms, handicap rails, etc. What tops it is they shot her whole electrical system in her house from their devices which they should have their own generators for. A modern high‑voltage or high‑amperage tool plugged into an old, ungrounded 2‑prong outlet can overload the circuit, overheat the wiring, trip breakers, or even cause electrical failure because the system was never designed for that load. We had turned the electrical off for a reason. But miraculously was turned back on the generator box and cut the dishwasher out which blew the electrical circuit. I’m very disappointed that took advantage of elders and state they left her in. Roof 👍 Floor 👎 Personal items replaced👎 Paint 👎 Be careful who you trust, financial exploitation is what you’ll get.

They do not respect private property. If they can’t follow a simple “NO SOLICITING” sign, I don’t think I’d trust them with taking care of my home. Also knocking on my door after 6PM, leaving their trash on my property. There’s a better way to go about business.

I don't normally write bad review; however, I have to let other people know about how bad the practice this company is doing. They false advertising that they're Tesla certified installer; however, they send 2 people to do the job of 6 to 7 people from Tesla. They damaged my solar system, as well as my gutters system. I gave they a whole year to fix the issues; however, they keep promising to fix it until one day they decided to ignore my texts/calls. The sale representative I dealt with was Joel Anchondo. Please save yourself a headache and stay away from conducting business with this company since they made false promises, damaged the property, and would ignore you!

Company ignores no soliciting signs and leaves their trash at your door which is against the law and against local ordinance. If a company can not respect the local rules and regulations or just simply the wishes of peoples clear and well marked no soliciting signs I wouldn't trust this company to do any kind of work.

Stop soliciting to people who have a clear “no soliciting” sign on their door! It’s illegal to do it in the city of edgecliff village. I don’t appreciate you forcing me to throw away your trash you leave on my doorstep!

Hi Natalie, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and understand your frustration. We take local regulations and residents' preferences very seriously, and we are currently reviewing our outreach process to ensure this doesn’t happen again. Your feedback is appreciated, and we’ll make sure our team is better informed moving forward. — Excel Construction Group

I won't call out names, but they called me and offered a free inspection of my roof after a hail storm. After the inspection they said that my roof has critical damage and they are surprised it's not leaking. It was a powerful claim to make, it made me worried about more damage it can cause to the house! My mistake was to trust them and submit a claim to my insurance with their assistance. An independent estimator came to look at the roof and found no significant damage. The damage reported by the estimator is even less than my deductable. They wanted to talk to the estimator. I gave them the estimator's contact information. They never called me back after that. I assume after talking to the estimator they realized they are not getting anything from my insurance. I would be willing to pay my deductable to fix the roof that was "about to start leaking" and prevent further damage. However now, after submitting a claim, I have to pay out of pocket to fix minor things that don't even affect functionality and I could live with them for the next few years. They use typical soliciting techniques to get money from where they can.

I recently had a major issue with water leaking through a window during the recent rain on Saturday, and Nick Hayat from Excel Construction Group was an absolute lifesaver. From the moment he arrived, his expertise was obvious; he worked to find the source of the leak and explained in a way that was easy to understand. Nick was incredibly thorough, not just fixing the immediate problem, but setting up the work order for further evaluation next week, ensuring the fans were set in all appropriate locations to get the walls dry for the next steps. It’s rare to find someone so detail-oriented and professional during such a stressful situation. I can’t recommend his services enough!

Our home was damaged in May of 2024. Roof, siding, decks and dock roof and decking were all damaged. Many contractors were only interested in replacing the roof on the house and not the entire job. Micha Turner and Stephanie White surveyed the damage and committed to completing the entire job. They developed a project plan that addressed all of my concerns and eliminated any issues with work that had already been completed. I was kept informed of what work was next to be completed and the status of materials needed. Great communication! I was very pleased with the quality of work. I would not hesitate to recommend Excel Construction Group.

Roofing systems don’t fail all at once—they decline gradually. Roofing in Haltom City often requires a long-term mindset because heat, storms, and aging materials place steady stress on residential and commercial roofs throughout the year. Addressing issues only when leaks appear usually leads to higher costs later. Key factors that support long-term roofing performance: 🛠️ Regular condition checks to track material wear 📋 Documented repairs to avoid overlapping or missed issues 💧 Drainage and flashing reviews to prevent hidden moisture damage 📸 Visual records that show changes over time 🏠 Maintenance planning aligned with roof age and usage Successful roofing in Haltom City focuses on managing wear before it becomes failure. When property owners understand how their roof is performing year over year, they can schedule work strategically instead of reacting to emergencies. Excel Construction Group approaches roofing in Haltom City with consistency and documentation—helping property owners plan repairs, maintenance, or future upgrades based on real roof conditions.
