  We engaged Ahlers Roofing and Construction to replace the roof of our church in Rowlett, TX. Ahlers pulled the roof off and did not make it water tight before the roof was installed and as a result we had water from a rain storm that ruined our worship area. The temporary roof was not water tight. As a result, it has been 4 months and we’re still without and we are meeting in a temporary location. Ahlers used an uninsured sub-contractor and as a result has denied fault in the incident. Because of this, our church has footed the entire repair bill on our own to date and Ahlers has engaged legal counsel and is not engaging in conversation to resolve the issue. In addition to this, Ahlers was paid in full for the roof, but left us in the wind. This has been a bad experience for us as a congregation and would NOT recommend Ahlers for roofing or other construction projects.

  I asked for a refund. It’s been over a month he never responded to my messages. Until I posted about the situation, he then responded with a threat telling me I had less than an hour to remove what I said and post a positive comment or I wouldn’t see my money?? Does this sound like a good company to hire????? It’s been a few months and I’ve still not received my money back???

  Better hope it doesn’t rain while they have the decking and shingles off because they will go jump in their vans and wait out the storm while your whole house is being destroyed and everything you own being reduced to a waterlogged mess on the floor. Doesn’t matter if the storm clouds took 30 plus minutes to roll in with ample warning to throw up tarps. They’ll just hide behind the “act of God” excuse and dismiss any responsibility. If you enjoy tripled insurance rates and two years of reconstruction misery, then this is the company for you!

  My heart goes out to this man in the picture shared, this company should not be trusted ..yes there are a lot of reviews but it takes just one bad decision on a business owners part to see that they are not trustworthy regardless If they do a good job at times, trust when I say that half of the reviews are fake by people paid to make the reviews of by the owners themselves, it's a way to promote businesses in bigger cities, if this business owner makes it right with the person that hired him then he will show that he has what it takes to be a trusted business, and shows he truly cares about rhe people he works for..the customer..Hope and pray he does the right thing

  Roofed leaked. Refused to repair the damage or provide their insurance information. They charged me for work that was never performed. They send one set of numbers to your insurance company then add thousands to the bill. Horrible people. After you pay them they refuse to honor their warranty. Avoid. Don’t get ripped off.

  I contacted Ahlers after the April 2021hailstorm and Ken Donaghy (no longer with Ahlers) was my project manager. He insured me they would take care of all repairs and accept the insurance payment. The roof was repaired quickly and efficiently. When the insurance payment came in, he said it was too low to finish repairs and I needed to go through the appraisal process ($1500) to get more money. When the appraiser came out in July she noticed Ahlers had put in cheaper windows than the original ones and new windows had to be reordered again. When the windows arrived in October after Ken had left, again they were not the right windows; it was the installer who noticed. I am still waiting in December for the correct windows to be installed and my texts, emails and voicemails are not returned by my project manager Jesse Gonzalez or the owner. Buyer beware!

  Still haven't gotten paid for going out of my way as a contractor to help some other contractor out that installed a metal roof wrong voided Warranty on all.

  Danny, Craig and they guys do excellent work. I have used them on several metal roofs. Show up on time and back their work . Highly recommend

  2026 - Well, here we go again. Danny's amazing team rebuilt half of our house after the 2019 tornado, and they rebuilt the other half this year after a plumbing incident flooded much of our home the morning after Christmas 2025. We had to replace much of the kitchen this time so were actually in an Airbnb for 3 months, but the time flew by, and our home, once again, looks and feels brand new. While we don't love that this happened ... we actually kind of do, because the work is so amazing, and our home just feels spectacular. I'd like to think this is the last time Danny will have to rebuild our home - LOL - but if it isn't, we know we can count on Ahlers to provide impecable service every time. You can't go wrong with Ahlers, and as a four-time major customer, I think it's pretty clear that we trust Ahlers with our home and are never disappointed. Five stars - highly recommend! 2024 - The Ahlers HVAC team replaced the other one of our HVAC units. (They replaced the first one after the tornado.) It's even smaller and more efficient, we love the new interface, and we can definitely feel the difference compared to what it replaced. We just love that Ahlers is a one-stop shop for all our home needs. 2021 - I can't believe it, but Danny's team had to replace our brand new roof thanks to the hailstorm that rolled in. As always, their work was excellent, and our home is as good as new. 2019 - Danny Ahlers and Ahlers Roofing and Construction have been phenomenal to work with, and we would recommend his company to anyone for any size job. Our home was hit by the Father's Day tornado this year, and it's been absolutely crazy around here for the last couple months. Danny has been an island of calm throughout it all. Danny had a team of 7 people - on Father's Day - working at our house within hours trying to mitigate the water damage (rain was pouring in through multiple places in the roof, walls, and windows), and they worked until 2:00 am that night. Amazing. Si

  I recently had a roof estimate done by Ahlers Roofing and Construction, and I am thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and transparency they provided. From the start, Juanita Eguia, was punctual and took the time to thoroughly inspect my roof, pointing out areas of concern I hadn’t noticed before. What stood out most was their honesty and willingness to answer all of my questions without pushing me into a decision. Juanita provided a clear breakdown of costs and gave me options for different materials, allowing me to make an informed choice based on my budget. She even showed up with short notice the day the insurance adjuster arrived. Overall, I felt very comfortable with their process and would definitely consider hiring Ahlers Roofing and Construction for the job. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of roof repairs or replacements!

  I just wanted to leave a quick review. I am in the process of purchasing my first home, and I need a quote ASAP. I was trying to negotiate a lower price and needed to justify the price reduction. Ahlers Roofing was out there the same day and was able to get me exactly what I needed. Juanita explained what I need and answered all my questions. Now I just need to close on my house so I can get them back out there to replace the roof.

  Danny and Justin were rockstars from beginning to end. By far the absolute best experience I’ve ever had when dealing with getting a new roof. Communication was perfect, the work was perfect, the follow up was perfect! I hope we don’t get hit with hail again but if we do, they will be by first and only call!!!
