  REALLY FD ROOFING, YOUR GUYS NAILED A WATERLINE ?? AND YOUR SAY YOUR NOT RESPONSIBLE ???? I SAW THIS ON NEXTDOOR I WILL POST ON TO ALL SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS AND REPORT TO (RCAT) ROOFING CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION of TEXAS FD Roofing & Construction LLC Granbury Texas Owner: J**** T***** C*** This contractor does not stand behind his work! My experience with this Roofing company was extremely negative. After they worked on my property, I experienced severe water damage that resulted in approximately $30,000 in damage and repairs, of which my insurance company reimbursed me $13,494. This was the result of hitting a waterline with a roofing nail. The damage affected areas of my home that should’ve been protected during the Roofing process. This was one of the most stressful home repair experiences I have ever faced. I believe potential customers should be aware of the risk and carefully evaluate all options before hiring this company. James, Tyler Cole, the owner of FD Roofing and Construction, LLC has taken no responsibility for the damage(not to mention his insurance carrier), he has come up with every excuse possible with the exception of blaming Santa Claus for this catastrophe. He takes no responsibility for his actions. I have been fighting him and his insurance company since July 2025 for reimbursement. Buyer beware.

  On 7/23/25 we finished the roof on your house. Eight days later, we were notified you had a small leak in a closet that had been going on for a “month” (which was well before the roof install). You noted the spot was only visible certain times of the day. Since the leak had originated before the roof install and was in close proximity to the AC unit, we concluded the leak was AC related. A plumber was contacted and it took him several hours just to locate the leak. The waterline was tucked in a hidden area of the attic and covered with insulation. It was obvious that, when the home was built, the builder’s plumber negligently ran an unshielded waterline against the roof deck, which is against code and would make the plumber/builder fully at fault. The homeowner felt that the builder/plumber would not take responsibility so we were put in the crosshairs. There was no negligence on our end and we attempted to work with the homeowner to get the issue resolved. Once the origin of the leak was detected and the waterline was repaired, we scheduled a crew to assess the damage and start the repair process. The homeowner declined our offer. We attempted to get our insurance carrier and General Liability insurance involved. The homeowner declined our offer. We open our mailbox and were shocked to see that an insurance claim had been made against our GL (without our knowledge). Apparently, the customer hired a company based out of Irving (over an hour away) to repair the damage. It appears they overpriced the job then attempted to bill to my GL insurance company. NO ADJUSTER HAS EVER STEPPED FOOT ON THE PROPERTY TO INSPECT THE ALLEGED DAMAGE. To this day, we have no idea what work was completed. We have not been fighting this customer on anything. It’s actually been exactly 364 days since the last time the homeowner has reached out to us. We have cooperated 100% throughout the entire claim process.   Tyler came to my house for what an assumed was a flashing issue causing a leak and he not only determined that I had a hidden leaf dam problem but he cleaned it out for me. I will definitely contact him for any further issues!

  Working with FD ROOFING was the best decision we made. Tyler was extremely knowledgeable with the insurance claim process and made sure everything was handled correctly. The communication was great, the work was top quality, and they cleaned up perfectly after the job. Highly recommend to anyone needing roofing work!

  Notice a small leak after driving rain. Within 24 hours Tyler was able to do an inspection and repair. I would use & recommend their services.

  FD Roofing and Construction was an easy company to work with for roof repair. He understood the insurance payment process and was willing to work with me when the insurance check delivery hit a snag and took much longer than expected to finally deposit in my account. His crew was on the roof doing tear-off before the sun was up. Completed an average sized house roof and a large storage shed, gambrel roof in about 8 hours (40 squares total). Protected flower beds and tarped the ground around the whole house. Offered ways to save money like deleting a skylight and just decking over the hole in a storage building.

  Was an amazing experience. I'm the worst with names. But the gentleman that came out was amazing. I needed a roof inspection done to sell my house. This gentleman came the day I called even though he was swamped with calls after the storm to inspect my roof. He was so pleasant to deal with. The type of customer service a frustrated seller needs. He knew I was upset with my situation and had the most patient demeanor. Seriously he was just amazing. He did the best job with the best attitude! I can not recommend this company enough! Thank you FD Roofing and your outstanding roofers for taking care of my roofing needs!
