  This seems like a good company; clearly, I mean look at all the 5-star reviews, but my experience was not the same as most. I'm not trying to ruin any ratings or anything like that - just sharing my personal experience. I was able to get a saleman out in a very quick and timely manner; he was very nice, professional and personable, as salesmen should be. He said he needed to get the metal guy out before quoting, which is fine... But that took a solid 3 weeks and several calls and texts just to get him out there just to look at it and give me a number. Not a huge deal, I was still happy at this point. I finally get the quote, we go over the numbers and the scope, I sign the contract and we schedule the work. A little back story: our house is brand new and the windows and porches were not installed correctly and they leaked, which is why I hired DT; to fix it and do it the way it was supposed to be done in the first place (to be clear, DT did not install them originally). The quote was a lot, but for what they were supposed to do, it seemed fair. They were supposed to install trim-type stuff over the windows and caulk it up so it didn't leak; it didn't look the best, but it fixed the problem, and that was all explained to me and I was accepting of it. The windows are not the issue. The porches. It was explained to me that DT Roofing were supposed to detach the porches from the structure, cut the R panel and install some L-shaped flashing behind the upper portion of the R panel and over/on top of the porch. That's how it was supposed to be built in the first place and that's what I was told and understood would happen when DT provided me a quote and took the job. This was all told to me over the phone or in person and the written quote was very vague - it was clear on the written quote, however, that the porch work was to be different than the window work; not all the same. They ended up doing to the porches exactly what they did to the windows. Some trim and caulki

  This customer is referring to a furnace vent on her roof that we were unable to source and we have asked several times to come back by so that we can get proper measurements to replace the furnace vent correctly and she has declined our visit. She insists on us coming a certain day of the week or that’s it and unfortunately it was on a weekend when the project manager had to be out of town to attend family business. We are always willing to work with our clients which is clear when you see over 520 5-star reviews. I have reached out to this customer personally and given her my cell phone number to call me so we can work this out. -DT Roofing Owner

  Update: we now know who this person is and he’s upset because we we chose not to do business with him so he opted to call into our office and threaten bodily harm on one of our owners. A police report has been filed with the Somervell County Sheriff Office. We do not have a Michael Hollis in our system, so we do not know who this individual is, however, as a private business, we do reserve the right to choose who we do business with, and we are not required to provide estimates. We wish whoever this is a good day and hope they find a contractor who will do business with them.

  HEADS UP - They aren’t roofers, they’re salesman who subcontract roofing crews from DFW and surrounding areas that you can hire directly on your own. I requested an estimate 7 months ago and have yet to receive one. A truly local roofer …

  I have my suspicion that this is not a real customer and someone that is trying to ruin our 5 star review. First, why wait 7 months? Second, all other 6 reviews associated with that account were given the same hour they left ours. They left no name and we have never heard of "Liberty Lover". Derek Tanner, Owner.

  We took three bids on repairing our roof leak. The first bid came in at $40,000 because the company wanted to replace the whole roof. The second bid came in at $8000 because the company said the whole roof didn’t need replacing, but there was a lot of work that needed to be done. The third bid came in from D T Roofing. Daniel Pearson came and, after making the same evaluation about the leak areas that the other two companies had made, suggested that, since the roof was less than five years old, we only repair those areas that really needed it. His bid. came in at less than $1500. The repairs took less than a week to be scheduled and completed, the work was exemplary , and the repairs were guaranteed for a full year The entire process was explained to us in great detail with pictures by Daniel, whose follow up visit was to make sure that we were happy with the work .To say we were happy was an understatement. If you need roof repair work done, by all means take bids, but make sure one of them is with D T Roofing. You’ll be more than satisfied. Their honesty, integrity and workmanship are fantastic. They don’t try to sell you more than you need and don’t charge an arm and a leg for doing it.

  I’ve recently had my roof replaced by DT Roofing and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. From start to finish, the team was punctual, respectful, and detail-oriented.   Justin Sherwood did a wonderful job. He helped us with a roof repair that included filing a claim with the manufacturer. He tarped the roof then made repairs to the ventilation system that was falling apart causing leaking. He took care of all the issues that we had and handled it all in a timely manner! Great job!

  I was so impressed with DT Roofing company. I have previously delt with other roofing companies and always got the feeling they were "trying" to seem caring while they really just cared about the bottom line - Dt Roofing is so different.   Just had our hail damaged roof replaced, pergola, gutters etc. Jacob was wonderful and walked us through the process, it was our first roof replacement ever. Service was excellent, they were on time, did a great job and cleaned up after very well. Could not recommend them more highly.
