We sincerely apologize for your frustration, as providing quality workmanship and standing behind our projects is very important to us. We were recently back at your home to inspect the moisture issue and have been reviewing our findings. At this time, it appears there may be more than one factor contributing to the condition, which is why we want to complete a thorough evaluation before making any final conclusions. Our goal is to identify the actual source of the moisture and determine the appropriate solution. We also want to clarify that this project involved considerably more than a roof repair. This was an insurance restoration project that included roofing, interior drywall replacement and finishing, painting, protection of your home and furnishings during construction, cleanup, and restoration work in accordance with the approved insurance scope. The pricing reflected the insurance-approved scope of work, not simply a roof repair. We were disappointed to see this review because your file was still active. We had recently inspected the property and were in the process of evaluating the findings before determining the next course of action. Your project remains under warranty, and we stand behind our work. Going forward, I will personally oversee your file as the Senior Project Manager. You will receive a text from me this week, and I will be your direct point of contact from this point forward. I will coordinate the follow-up inspection, review our findings with you, and ensure we work toward the appropriate resolution. We appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns and look forward to resolving this matter

  I had then put on a front gutter. It failed the first time it rained. they can out and said they could fix it for 300.00 more. I paid them and it's failed for 4 years now. I've contacted them every year and once somebody came out and improved it a little bit. Once you've paid them they have no incentive to come back

  Mr. Cruikshank, Thank you for using FCR and thank you for taking the time to leave us your most honest review. We appreciate all the kind words of how we are incredibly responsive, very nice, non-pressure sales, quality work on the HVAC and Roof. I do apologize that there was some confusion when it came to the issue we ran into with the fact that you had wood shakes and needed new decking on the entire home. We spoke about this and to do the additional work needed plus the cost of materials would typically be $6000.00, but due to that confusion we agreed on a price that didn’t cover the full cost to do the work needed. You told our project consultant when he was at your house that you did not know if your home had wood shakes or multiple layers of roofing materials. As you have stated in your review and to us on the phone that is not exactly true as you received multiple estimates and they had the decking included and they were much higher than us. Decking was never included in your contract and is an addition to the scope of work. We agreed that our project consultant should have done a better job checking and that is why we did this portion for you at such a discounted rate. As far as the walk through goes we had our project consultant out when the job was completed and you were upset with him (understandably) and you gave him the check and told him you were not interested in speaking with him. We have also sent out our project manager since to do a walk through and again you refused to do the walk through with him and have refused to sign the completion form. Again we thank you for your business, we are saddened that you were not extremely happy with the entire project and we thank you for recognizing the quality work and product we provided.

  I hired them to build my tiled deck last Fall and the job was completed this Spring. The company offer two years no leak warranty. When I found deck was still leaking after rain on 8/31/2020, I took pictures and video and sent to them asking for repair immediately. Many texts and phone calls. No reply. Office visits. No use. Almost a month passed, I am still patiently waiting them to call me back.

  I had siding, windows and gutters installed by FCR Home Improvements and I would NOT recommend them. There were several issues that came up, which when brought to their attention, the FCR representative initially attempted to deflect cause as their own, until I sent photos showing that it was indeed their error. I had to have an electrician reinstall flood lights which were replaced by the FCR installer. Come to find out, had I not consulted an electrician to exam why the new out of the package flood lights weren’t working, my house could have caught fire due to faulty wiring by their installer. When the installers arrived to replace my gutters, I happen to go out to say hello, when I noticed that they were preparing to install the WRONG color! This was corrected, BUT fast forward six months later and we’re experiencing excessive amounts of rain. I noticed that the location of the downspout is causing flooding in front of our house. I’ve made attempts to notify the two FCR representatives who were contacts when the work was done and I’ve not heard back from either. I went with them on referral from a friend and boy am I regretting that decision.

It is not typical hear that we installed a roof too quickly. We would like to apologize if you were not informed that we were sending 2 roof crews to your home on the day of installation. Our goal was to make sure we completed your roof project promptly due to rain that was scheduled to come in that day. It started to lightning and rain on us, so for the safety of our crews they packed up swiftly and left without the typical cleanup procedures. As you are aware, our crew, returned that day to move the trailer left. As you requested, we moved the debris trailer, in the rain and lightning so that we could close the gates to accommodate the needs of your pets. After following up with each team member involved on your roof replacement we have realized that we should have had more communication with you before, during, and after the re-roof process. Had we communicated with you better, you would likely better understood what to expect. We have talked to the owner of FCR Home Improvements and it was confirmed that he did not talk to you differently due to the fact that you were a woman or that you had an accent. You had requested an inspection of the roof after we were complete. We are working with Malarkey Shingle Company to inspect the completed roof. Malarkey will be sending an inspector from their company to inspect the new roof. They want to make sure that we indeed properly install your roof to manufacturers specs and guidelines and to local codes. Once we have that report, a copy will be provided to you. Per your signed contract, FCR Home Improvements offers a full 2-year workmanship warranty on our services performed.   They did a complete tear off of the old roof, including the plywood underlay. Replaced everything. Previous owners had some odd paint on the vent stacks. These guys even covered that up. It’s the little things that make a difference.

  I am so happy with the results of my home repairs. Had a lot of wood rot and FCR did the job….better than expected. Corey listened to me and my concerns. He was a comfort when the work began. All workers were awesome! I would definitely use them again. On time and when they were done, they cleaned up the entire worksite! Love FCR.

  Great experience. Frank and his team were so kind. I called many companies before Frank and none seemed capable of handling the project. Some even tried to scare me by telling me there’s probably lots of water damage to my walls, most likely in an attempt to charge me more. FCR found no issues with my walls when they installed the windows. I was so relieved. I’m glad I went with FCR. Home Depot recommended them and I’m glad they did.

  I highly recommend FCR. We worked with Cory, and he was always helpful and responsive. The carpentry team led by Shawn (and his crew) did a wonderful job. Their work was high quality. They were also knowledgeable and helpful. Everyone at FCR was great to work with —from the office staff to the onsite team.

  FCR was very helpful coordinating our roof, ceiling and gutters after the rainstorm and roof leak. They responded very quickly and were always available to answer questions, even on weekends and evenings. Their work crews were fast, did excellent work and were very polite. Very satisfied.
