  Aloha Al, after looking through our lead database, there is no customer interaction with anyone under the name Al Hara. If you could personally send me an email to wecare@fbc-hawaii.com I would be happy to have a conversation with you and address your concerns. In my opinion if a "roofer" comes to inspect your roof and they just use a drone that flies over and they don't even go on the roof to check the pliability of the shingles or the granular loss of shingles or feel the textures of the shingles then they're not a roofer. They're a glorified camera man with a fancy robot. We support a lot of local families with jobs and helped thousands of homeowners get new roofs in Hawaii for over 15+ years.

  Had an inspection for leaky roof, never received final quote and representative failed to respond to any messages —completely ghosted. Very sad they couldn’t help me and my family save our home from further roof damage.

  I had an inspection done weeks ago. They were supposed to send me a quote within 24hrs but I never received one. I have since called them a dozen times trying to get my quote so I can schedule the repair. No one is ever available to speak with me. I have left multiple voicemails with their manager and left messages on their website but no one has called or messaged me back. Horrible costumer service.

  My wife's newer car (BMW) covered in tar and other roof particulate from their work. Even after washing car twice including with pressure washer still tar left behind. Trying to use clay bar to try to get tar off. No precautions to avoid damaging property. Looking online it appears there are requirements to avoid these type of situations e.g. HAR 11-60.1-33 states, "that no person shall cause or permit visible fugitive dust to become airborne without taking reasonable precautions, including the installation of dust screens or wind barriers around construction sites; essentially requiring contractors to implement dust control measures like barriers to prevent excessive dust emission during construction." Also, workers block neighbors driveway parking directly blocking exit/entry.

  We paid FBC for a roof repair. Work was “done” on 4/25/2026 but leaked in the same spot, when it rained 20 days later, on 5/15/2026. FBC was immediately notified by text and calls along with a video of the leak. Since then, FBC scheduled two follow-up appointments to finish the job and canceled both. The most recent cancellation was for the week of 7/13/2026 after we called to confirm the appointment the week before. FBC stated that they didn’t have a “repair team” and could not give us a new appointment date because they have bigger jobs. Note that our roof is NOT a warranty repair. This is related to finishing a job that was already paid for. We asked to speak with Kyle, who quoted our roof or David, the owner to discuss what FBC will now do on our roof to finish the job and are still waiting to hear back. Lei, front desk has been the only person communicating with us since the leak on 5/15/2026. We’ve also been waiting for warranty paperwork that we offered to just pick up in 7/8/2026 from their office on Ualena Street but was told that all staff are working remotely and that FBC doesn’t have an office. We also wanted to speak to someone in person other than the front desk staff, to discuss the scope of work to be done on our roof but that wasn’t possible. We hope to hear back from Kyle, David or other Fullmer brother soon to discuss a plan. This review will be updated once the work on our roof is officially done. (G. Fukumitsu) UPDATE #1: David and Kyle did a roof inspection on 7/18/2026 and David developed a plan. David listened to our concerns, thoroughly explained what could be done and offered options for FBC to follow through on the repair. On 7/21/2026, a roofer was sent to do another inspection and to place caulk on a small section of the roof to mitigate. The roofer did a water test, but could not replicate the leak. So, the roofer recommended that FBC soak the roof for over an hour to replicate heavy rain, which is how we discovered that

  I contracted FBC to repair carports roof leaks. It had asphalt medium, but FBC contractors working on the job suggested shingles like the rest of my new roof that had been done prior. They matched the shingles and looks so much better. Very professional service, and a job well done.

  I was nervous at first, this was a multistep and multi-party project that required coordination. The team at FBC Roofing were responsive to my queries. They arrived on time, explained the roofing and gutter work clearly, and were very professional throughout the job. The roof looks perfect and the gutters are clean and sturdy.   I was nervous about getting a new roof, but the team at FBC Roofing gave me the best experience I’ve had in months. From the friendly phone call to the day the crew arrived, everything was organized and professional. They walked me through the shingle roof options, explained the process, and answered all my questions about roofing services. The installation was quick, clean, and the finished roof looks amazing.
