This is how they leave their job site in a busy neighborhood with houses close together. One gust of wind and they are damaging multiple houses and cars. I hope they have great insurance.

Good afternoon. We have to modify literally a hundred+ pieces of metal in order to complete a custom metal roof. The metal was spread about the yard and then cleaned at the end of the day. The roof is immaculate, the homeowner (customer) is ecstatic, and their yard looks like we were never there. Your one star review is unfounded and unfair. Was any damage done to you or your home? If so, please reach out to me and we can discuss that accordingly. But we have never damaged a property, a home, or a neighbors’ residence due to neglect in literally thousands of roofs. We take pride in making every single homeowner as happy as possible by providing them with the roof of their dreams. I’m sorry that you drove by and weren’t happy with what you saw, but I can assure you, we do everything to make sure that our customer is completely satisfied, the workplace is safe, and to ensure the same for the surrounding areas of which we operate. Thank you.

Elmer Cook construction and roofing did an excellent job installing our metal roof. Workers showed up on schedule, were efficient, and completed the job in a week. The roof was inspected by the county and no issues were noted. They cleaned up at the end of each day and after the project was completed. I would not hesitate to recommend this contractor.

Not the cheapest, but certainly the best quality roof I have ever seen in the panhandle. These guys will not cut corners either, our 23 year old roof had some damage, and they took the time to fix it properly, even though they would have …

Elmer Cook put a new roof on my house and another on the Trinity United Methodist Church on Racetrack that I was a part of. Both turned out excellent. Trey was friendly and easy to work with helping and answering questions along the way. The price was slightly higher than a shingle roof but super reasonable given the additional lifespan of the roof (less than shingles over the equivalent timeframe). I can personally say the roof on my house cooled the upstairs by 5 five degrees on top of the strength and timeless look of a metal roof. The added wind resistance and peace of mind are also huge bonuses. I would highly recommend Elmer Cook for a new metal roof.

Thank you for the positive feedback John, you have been a wonderful customer to our small, family business. We feel a lot of pride every time we drive past the church; it is definitely eye-catching! And I always make it a point to point out your house when I'm driving down your street. We cherish every roof that we do and every customer that we add to The Elmer Cook family. Thanks again for everything; I'm always just a phone call away if you need anything.

Insurance company had issues with the age of our roof. We decided to compare prices for shingle versus metal roof. Contacted Trey with Elmer Cook Construction. He returned call very promptly, and was at my house within a couple days to prepare estimate. Estimate was delivered within a day of him coming to my house. Did an excellent job of describing everything that would be done and an approximate timeline from start to finish. Once we decided we were going to use them. A date was set that they were going to start. Got delayed a couple days due to weather, but once his crew were able to get started they worked efficiently and safely. Cleaned up the yard every day before they left. Even with a weather delay they still finished on time without any issues. Crew was very professional and took time to address any issues if you had questions about anything. Hoping this is the last roof I need but if not I would not hesitate to use Elmer Cook again if needed. This is a great company and I would highly recommend for all your roofing needs.

Trey was fantastic to work with and the Elmer Cook roofing team's workmanship is exceptional. My power bill dropped the day insulation went in. Multiple neighbors complimented us on the look of the new roof. Now I'm expecting metal roofs to start popping up all over my neighborhood.

I want to thank Trey Cook and staff, for the excellent job they did from start to finish, on my new metal roof. Having always had shingles, I very much appreciated the extra time Trey and the roof crew took, to explain how the roof would be done. The house I had roofed, was in quite a state of disrepair. 13 sheets of plywood were used to get the roof ready, plus I had the pitch increased for better drainage. All of this was completed in a timely, efficient manner. The morning I was going to text Trey with yet another question, I inadvertently called him. This was quite early, but Trey was very polite, even in this awkward situation...I owe him an apology and thanks for that! Cole and all of the other crew members were friendly, and always said hello. They left the job site in very clean condition, too. Thanks to all of the Cook Construction folks! Harriet and Brad Gifford

Trey Cook and his team were very responsive and professional. Great communication throughout the whole process and attentive to details getting the work done. They installed a new metal roof in my house and I noticed the temperature difference immediately. Before the new roof my new AC had trouble keeping up with the hot summer but after I got the metal roof it had no problem keeping the house cool. I was worried a new roof was going to be too expensive but their prices were very affordable.
