As stated in the reply to your other comment, we apologize for not being able to fulfill the proposal your] received in the timeframe you requested. Being short handed and having major delays in material availability has made it almost impossible to keep an accurate schedule. You did tell me you went with another company last we spoke so I’m glad you got your job completed and your storm damage is resolved.

  Dropped roofing material two weeks before starting job. Left trash all over yard for the weekend .left satellite hanging off roof beating the side of the house. Get this the reason we had the roof replaced was the fix a leak. Guess what 16 k later an the roof leaks in same spot. Hmm..... Don't waste a nickle calling these guys

  First I’d like to start off by apologizing for the experience with CQRoofing that fell short of what you expected and what we continually strive for. We have been installing superior roofs and repairs in Okaloosa county for 23 years and counting. Your material was delivered as it became available, which is quite sporadic in this current market. We were not able to start right away as completing a previous project was delayed a bit with the weather. I wish the satellite dish was mounted right away after the roof install , however we don’t get to coordinate that part with the service provider. The leak was certainly unfortunate, however that has been repaired and resolved. I’m glad we were able to remedy the issues but it doesn’t excuse the impact they imposed on you. I apologize again but am thankful to you for your business and your feedback. It helps us grow as a company and work to be a better business in our hometown community .

  These guys came out and gave an estimate. I signed their contract 3 months ago and they wont even return my calls. They must have their employees right the reviews. Very unprofessional!! !Stay away!!

  We are very sorry we weren’t able to fulfill your proposal to install your roof in the time your needed. We did however communicate with you and your insurance company, who wanted copies of the permit. I’m glad however that you did find another company able to get your roof done.

  On Tuesday August 11th Dax came out to check out a roof leak we have. He was supposed to email us that evening with an estimate he did not. It took two days and multiple phone calls to get an estimate. Apparently he had a family emergency (totally understandable and excusable) after that we were supposed to hear from the repair team manager to schedule our repair... THREE WEEKS later we haven’t gotten a call back and my roof is still leaking. We even let them know from day one that we were in a hurry to get it fixed. I have called nine times and spoken with a very sweet lady who works the desk but never get a return phone call from anyone about scheduling my repair. My husband and I both work full time and it’s already difficult for us to take time off or I’d just go with another company. At this point we may have to though. This is a family run business and we love supporting local small businesses but they’ve made it impossible.

  Had an appointment scheduled for roof replacement estimate. No call no show. Called company and they did not have me on their calendar. Customers beware.

  I first contacted this company 3-14-19 to get a quote on replacing missing shingles and a corroded vent(per my home inspection recommendedations). I didn’t hear anything back so I called 3-18 and they sent over the proposal for fixing the vent and replacing shingles for $500 which I signed the same day. I said I would be out of the area until May so I’d need updates and photos of the finish work. Dex Carr told me the job would begin the week of 3-25. I never heard anything so I emailed him for an update on 4-3, again no reply. I called the office the next day and was told they would begin the work that next day. Never heard a word so I called again 4-15 and was told the work was done 4-5 after all. Ok great..except I wasn’t told, didn’t receive photos as promised of the finished job. I asked the office employee to have the supervisor call me, instead I get a call from Dex himself. He finally emails me an invoice and photos after I complained about the communication issues. I then see the vent wasn’t done, so I called back and suddenly it was a typo and wasn’t needed yet it was still $500 and I had photos from my inspection of a completely rusted out vent. I asked for the owner to call me and he did that evening. I explained the situation and he said the communication was not up to par and they would fix the vent at no extra cost. Here we are now almost a month late...week after I spoke to the owner and still didn’t have any idea of it being finished or not. You’d think they’d contact me after the problems to show improvement with communication...NOPE the job was done 4-16 and again I had to contact them to find out. Being a military family in the middle of a move, we can’t always be in the area or even know the area so we trust reviews like these to find companies. I hope they can iron out the issues with communication because it’s a headache customers don’t need.

  Overpriced. Agreed to lower the price if we cleaned up debris and hauled it off, and at time of invoice, there was no discount. They are not honest. Not efficient. I would recommend going elsewhere. I WILL ABSOLUTE SPREAD THE TRUTH ON THESE HACKS!!!

  They did an exceptional job. Very fast, professional and courteous. We had a couple hiccups (from my end) and they overcame them and completed the work ahead of schedule. Truly outstanding company to work with.

  Wonderful company! They gave me a quote and with in a week, they were able to get me scheduled for the fix. They were able to fix my roof in an hour! I will definitely be using them again in the future.

  My roof was excessively old so I did some research and found CQ. They came highly praised so I got an estimate. The price was very competitive and once I decided to progress forward with the replacement it was very fast. Their workers did a great job, the cleanup was fantastic, the payment process was easy as well. I will not hesitate to return in the future. Even the permit guys sang their praises after inspecting my new roof.

  CQ Roofing installed a new roof on my residence in Fort Walton Beach, Fl in April 2026. They answered every question and addressed and concerns I had quickly. The work was performed within schedule and the roof looks great! They also did a fine job of cleaning up. They have a comprehensive warranty and I trust they will hold to it if I ever have any issues. I recommend them.

  My story begins 8 years ago when straight winds tore off a couple dozen hip roof shingles. I called CQ Construction and Chris came out, assessed the situation and sent a couple guys out to fix the roof. They sent me a bill for $50 which I gladly paid. I also kept their phone number. A few weeks ago I was awakened by a steady drip at 2 am. I had water coming into the laundry room through an A/C vent during a gully washer of a rain storm. At the first opportunity, I called CQ and within hours they sent Brian to assess the situation. He found several nail pops and a leak in a valley. We discussed alternatives and I decided that replacing the roof was the best thing to do. I received a quote later that day, stopped by the office to initiate the process. A week later they delivered materials and replaced my roof. Every aspect of the job was performed by friendly, knowledgeable people. I would gladly recommend CQ Rooting to anyone needing a roof repair or replacement.

  Outstanding service. Repairman showed up before scheduled appointment time. Was very respectful, courteous and answered all of my questions. What really impressed me was that they used a leaf blower and cleaned the debris from my roof. Didn't ask them to do that. All the mess created during the repair was cleaned up. Top notch business!

  Reasonably priced, excellent roofing products which were professionally used on roof, outstanding clean-up, and responsibility of minor damage, fixing it better than it was before repaired. A very honest company that stands behind their word. Kelly was awesome to work with during the process of applying a new roof. I would highly recommend this company.

  I couldn’t be happier with my new roof installation by CQ Roofing. From the very first interaction, the office staff was professional, responsive, and easy to work with. The installation crew was efficient, friendly, and clearly took pride in their work. Cleanup was excellent — you would never know a full roof replacement had just been completed. Pricing was fair and competitive based on multiple bids I reviewed, and there were no surprises along the way. As an added bonus, the wind mitigation inspection they coordinated saved me several thousand dollars immediately on my homeowners insurance.   Our old roof was over 20 years old and nearing problem time. CQ had helped do minor repair over the areas so we asked for an estimate. The did the job quickly, on schedule and for the amount in the estimate. They repaired the areas that need it and installed new solar attic fans. Excellent job!! Highly recommend.
