  They did a very poor job there were uneven edges the were cutting the ply wood with a chainsaw i had to get my ceiling repaired i tried to call them back out to fix the roof correctly and never got a return call back so after three weeks of this i just gave up

  We did talk with the Husband moments before this review was posted and was trying to rectify everything. Drek had been trying to contact them for days with no return call. Everything was explained to Him thoroughly over the phone and we were requesting for the skylight extensions through the manufacture. The skylights were discussed on site, Mrs. Ammons requested the Brand we typically install. She had a Kennedy skylight brochure and requested for us to order the vented manual skylight that was added to the contract. They made an assumption that we would be sure they could reach it and we thought they knew exactly what they wanted when they requested us to order them… Drek is a honest man that has worked for us for years and a local youth Pastor with no reason to lie. The only time Mrs. Ammons discussed the Metal over the stairs was when the Superintendent was on site once the job was completed. (The reason they wanted to keep the cover sheets) The only portion of the roof that was discussed Charged/Quoted for the main body roof. Gable Roof, 2 Full Slopes. The remaining metal on site was not paid for by the Clients as they were cover sheets meant to protect the painted metal to be installed. The clients requested the installers leave it behind. However they are instructed to not leave any debris behind especially metal (Sharp/Hazard) As soon as we heard they did request us to leave the cover sheets we contacted our Trailer guy but unfortunately it had already been dumped at the landfill. We did not hear from the client after daily calls until a Past Due notice was sent due to non-payment and that they had Voided their install warranty.

  Over the past several years I have used DAC roofing several times. They have done a fair job although they failed to communicate properly. Today I called Doug with DAC roofing Asking him A question. Before he would even listen to the question he lost his temper and started threatening me. After hurricane Sally, I am representing several roofing companies selling their roofs for them. Doug with DAC roofing immediately thought that I was calling to get information from him to better my sails when all I was doing was calling to see if I could Add him to the list of roofing companies that cared about their community. He doesn't care about the community he only cares about the money he puts his pocket. This is my true feelings after my experiences with this gentleman for several year.

  I have been in business here locally in Santa Rosa County for over 25 years. I have enjoyed serving my community and look forward to many more years of service. Our pricing is very competitive for the counties that we very graciously serve!

  Did not help, since it was not a full roof replacement. Just soffit/facia repair. Would not recommend to anyone

  We do not do wood work by it self. We are a Roofing Company. We do soffit and fascia work on our Roof replacements as needed.

  Ms. Murphy did not hire us and did not own the home when the patch was completed. We were hired by the previous owners. This Patch work was completed 10/19/2017. No roof patch is ever warrantied as you never know the condition of the surrounding areas. The only Invoice sent to the owner states Patch- No Warranty as does every Estimate/Invoice sent for patch. We warranty total slope replacements and Re-Roofs. We no longer work in Valparaiso/Okaloosa County and the client that hired us continues to use our services weekly as do many other's. This was all explained and attempted to resolve to no avail 3 different times she has called.

  Met with Doug to discuss my roofing needs. Because the previous roof was installed incorrectly, there was alot of rotten wood that needed to be replaced in addition to the new roof. We reviewed the areas of concern which which consisted of facia, soffet and roof decking. In addition, i needed to have plywood removed the length of the roof on both sides from the drip edge up four feet to expose the hurricane clips and add additional nails to satisfy my insurance company requirements for a discount on wind insurance along with using water and ice water barrier on the decking in place of standard tar paper. The roofing crew was top notch, polite and cleaned up the area of removed material as well as scanning the yard multiple times for nails. Faith, in the office, assisted with shingle color selection as well ss coordinating receiving the necessary documentation to provide to my insurance company. Always polite and helpful when calling the office. Would suggest you call them for a quote. I select a company to do work for me not just on price, but also the person doing the work

  The office staff, team and craftsmen of D.A.C Roofing saved us from what could have been a catastrophic event. Skillful and efficient, a within a few days, we saw them finished with a full roof replacement. Timely and accurate, finest materials and superb clean up. Great communication throughout. Impressive as their attention to detail is, it becomes even more so when one considers the nearly 135 degree surface they worked on without incident or accident. My family and friends will trust Doug at D.A.C. Roofing with any such work in the future….all, faith guides him. Ya’ll should trust in him too. Eric Smith

  I can’t thank Doug enough for being so dependable and honest with me. He fixed the leaks in my roof that supposedly was fixed by the original roofing company. Doug took pictures of the leaks and was very thorough with explaining what needed to be done. Highly recommended!!
