  OK, I admit it. I got suckered by Elite Roofing. We had a roof leak. Our home warranty company, which covers up to $1,000, sent Elite Roofing. Like many home owners, I do not have easy access to the roof. Therefore, when Elite Roofing told me it was a significant repair that would take five hours (and my understanding was two roofers), I trusted that the roughly $3,500 quote was reasonable. And, because my home warranty company was paying $1,000 (reducing my cost to roughly $2,500), I did not get a second quote. My mistake. Only one roofer showed up, he took slightly over an hour, and told me that he had completed his work replacing eleven tiles. I raised the issue with Elite and they quickly dropped the price to $2,695. At that point, I asked for a parts and labor breakdown because $2,695 does not sound reasonable for eleven tiles and an hour and change of a roofer’s time. In an email, Elite Roofing told me that it “cannot offer a cost breakdown, but can assure you that the materials, labor, and overhead costs are in line with our normal margins.” This seems like code for “don’t feel bad, you got ripped off but no worse than the other suckers.” I paid the bill but do not plan to use Elite Roofing again.

  Originally contacted these guys through home warranty for a leak. Wes came out to do the assessment. Long story short roof was damaged and needed replacement. Insurance was giving the run around and ultimately denied the claim. They made a feeble attempt to get the insurance to reconsider but it didn’t work. Initially, Wes was super responsive, but once insurance denied he ghosted me and stopped answering calls and texts. Ultimately, I got a better more competent roofing company (Rhino Roofing) involved and they handled the insurance and got it approved. I Learned a lot from this experience. I can’t speak for all of them but Wes only sees $$$$ and pretended to care but will leave desperate homeowners hanging if there is even a hint of difficulty involved. Cat and Brandon were a pleasure to deal with and were great, that’s why they get two stars.

  Aug 31, 2023 they put on a new roof. May 22, 2024 we have a storm. They do not cover hail damage even though they gave me a 10yr warranty. Hail is not covered by Elite. That is what Joel told me at 4:21 pm, May 29, 2024.

  Mr. Barnes, Elite Roofing extended a 10 year workmanship warranty and we installed a product that carries a limited lifetime warranty as well. Unfortunately, there are no products (that I am aware of) that would offer a warranty against hail damage.   Was experiencing a leak from badly sealed vent on my roof. Jared from Elite Roofing came out performed the initial inspection and gave me a run down of what was going on, along with pictures to detail out the explanation. Next appointment he came out to do the work, was professional, timely with the repair, and displayed senior level craftsmanship. Would recommend him to family and friends alike.

  My experience with Elite Roofing was stellar. My home warranty company hired them to come out and fix a leak in our roof. The contractor showed up when he said he would and completed the work in a timely manner and thorough manner. Needless to say when it comes time to have the roof replaced, they will be the company I will be going to.
