**update** after a few phone calls and revisit they found the source of the leak and fixed it. That was a few months ago and I'm happy to report there have been no issues since then. …

I’m glad almost everyone had an excellent experience with this company. I can’t say the same. I gave them a deposit for a re-roof in October 2023 and they told me the city permit would take a month, after several calls and texts with the salesperson Daniela, they kept telling me that the permit request was submitted. Only in January 2024 I got in touch with the City and found that el Mago Roofing never submitted the permit request. Imagine my frustration when I found out. I called el Mago them and no one could give a straight answer. Then I request a deposit refund, because they LIED to me and to my surprise they told Me, No, we do not give refunds, EVEn if they lied to me. The owner Melvin tried to give me an explanation but I just didn’t trust them anymore. Then he told me he would deduct $1000 from my deposit for all the work done, WHAT JOB? they didn’t do anything. After all I decided I didn’t wanted to business with these unprofessional and unreliable people. For me is not worth it. There are better and more professional companies out there. EL MAGO ROOFING IS NO GOOD.

Is good to know that 100% of the reviews are five stars. unfortunately, I had a really bad experience with this company. Very dirty job since the first day, I had to call the office to pick up the garbage and removed an old truck that was liking oil on my driveway, also to remove the tile installed with different color on my roof, horrible installation of the metal facia ( twisted and cut in many pieces) and one of the worse part, no ridge tile ( owner wanted to charge me extra). At the end, I had to hire someone to finish all the mistakes made by this company and to paint the house.

This company has been the worst. They started working on our roof in August it is now November and the roof is still incomplete. I called them every week since mid September and the work has not been resolved. When they first came they did not clean up and left debris with nails all over our driveway which punctured our car tires. I do not recommend they always say you pay for what you want. The worse.

El Mago's Roofing is top notch! I had a leak in my roof during a heavy rain day. I was able to get on the phone with Isel at the main office to get me an appointment the following day! Lazaro came to the property during the scheduled time, he was very friendly, respectful and informative. They provided me a very competitive quote and I was pleased to know that my roof no longer had any issues. Thank you guys!
