After taking the morning off work, I was called 45 mins before the appointment and was told he couldn't make it because it was raining and it was too dangerous to go on the roof. He then asked if we could book for the next day - without any concern about the weather. Hmmmm. 1. If I was told this, I would have looked at the weather before making the appointment. 2. I called two other roofing companies and both showed up had no problem going on the roof in the rain. He gets two stars because he actually called to cancel. (The bar is set low with trades these days.)

Hi Brian, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m genuinely sorry for the inconvenience caused by having to reschedule your appointment, especially after you had arranged time off work. The decision to postpone was made solely due to safety concerns. During periods of heavy rainfall, walking on sloped roofing surfaces can be extremely hazardous, and we will not put our team at risk in those conditions. While some companies may choose to proceed, we take a more conservative approach when weather conditions create an elevated safety risk. We did not intend to cancel the inspection, only to reschedule it. Based on the weather forecast at the time, conditions were expected to improve the following day, which is why that option was suggested. I understand your frustration and appreciate that you were notified rather than experiencing a no-show. If you’d like to discuss this further or reschedule for a time that works better for you, I’d be happy to do so. Regards, Doug Jackson Eco Exteriors Ltd.

Eco Exterior Roofing is an absolutely amazing company, that one cannot go wrong with using their amazing services, expertise, and dedicated staff! I know it is difficult to search online for a reliable company, but follow the high ratings and the number of the satisfied customers providing the ratings. Eco Exterior has both in high numbers. They provided exceptional service and expert staff in all phases of our roof replacement! Scott and Doug are providing amazing support, clear communication, consistent response to concerns. Jordan and Jake, the installers of our rood were outstanding with their craftsmanship, and positive attitude and dedication to quality. I am delighted to reccommend this company to anyone who desires outstanding service and high quality workmanship! You cannot go wrong choosing this company!

When I decided to replace my roof with Eco Exteriors, I made the right decision. From the beginning, Scott (the roofing project manager) clearly explained the process and exactly what was needed to be done. The roofing team was very respectful of my property and they kept the workplace very clean. A great example of “ under promise, over deliver “! In the past 8 months , Eco Exteriors have done 3 houses on our street. I now have peace of mind going into the rainy seasons. Thanks Eco Exteriors for a great experience.

Cedar or Enviroshake? Which is the better choice for your home? Both roofing materials can provide the classic cedar look that works so well with North and West Vancouver homes, but they have very different maintenance and performance characteristics. Cedar offers the natural beauty and character of real wood, while Enviroshake provides a low-maintenance composite alternative made with approximately 95% recycled materials. Our latest article compares the two options, including appearance, durability, maintenance, lifespan, sustainability, and fire and impact resistance.
