Our experience with this contractor started out well, but unfortunately went downhill as the project progressed. Communication was initially good, but eventually became almost nonexistent. We have had to repeatedly reach out just to get basic updates on the status of our project. The project is now several months past the timeframe we were originally given. A major part of the delay has been our porch pillars, which were not completed correctly the first time. Rather than completing them as originally discussed with the faux-wood finish we had agreed upon, we were initially offered what felt like a quick “band-aid” solution using Hardie board and stain. Now, because of the weather, we are being told the project will be delayed several more weeks. We completely understand that rain can affect outdoor work, but the bigger issue is the lack of communication. Had the pillars been done correctly the first time, we would not still be waiting months later. At this point, it has been a frustrating experience filled with delays, excuses, and very little proactive communication. We have been patient and understanding throughout the process, but our time is valuable too. We simply expected the work to be completed properly and within a reasonable timeframe, with clear communication along the way. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we cannot recommend this contractor.

Instead of being directed safely away from the home, water may overflow onto fascia, siding, landscaping, or areas near the foundation. For Kokomo homeowners, the recent stretches of heavy rainfall provide a good opportunity to watch your gutters while they are actually working. Look for water spilling over the edge, leaking from seams, running behind the gutter, pooling near the home, or failing to exit through the downspouts properly. *𝗤: 𝗜𝘀 𝗴𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗮 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝗴?* No. Debris is common, but improper pitch, undersized drainage, damaged gutters, or downspout problems can also affect water flow. *𝗤: 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗴𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗯𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱?* That depends on their condition.
