Discount Siding & Roofing

The only one or two-star review we hold for Discount Siding & Roofing.

Discount was highly recommended by our interior remodeling company. That company is a joy to work with. Discount, not at all. I contacted them weeks ago providing a detailed description of our project and photos both of our exterior elevations and examples of homes nearby that had the exterior treatment and details we wanted. After numerous prompts for updates, I received half hearted responses from the Discount co-owner who was recommended to us. After waiting for an estimate for a number of weeks more I asked, a couple of days ago, when we might expect one. That elicited multiple derogatory emails from that co-owner asserting he had no information about what we wanted, had no "drawings" so couldn't do an estimate and ending in saying he had no interest in our project. What a complete waste of hours of my time not to mention my patience. HIGHLY unprofessional, TOTALLY uncalled for and HARD to believe that a small business can treat prospective customers so poorly and rudely. Especially so in a highly competitive and often sketchy business like siding and roofing. By the way, the Google reviews are very likely total B.S. One of them is attributed to the co-owner himself and another is from someone with the same last name. Having 20+ all "5 star" ratings is truly unbelievable.

As a local real estate agent, it’s such a good feeling to have a roofing and siding contractor we know we can trust to take care of our clients, right for them and give them honest answers. We love working with Andy Schmidt and are always quick to refer him

Andy and the crew at Discount are the best! I had horrible storm damage and was left on read by multiple contractors before I got into contact with Discount. Once they were on site the project really took off and within 2 weeks my entire project was wrapped up and our home was looking better than the day we moved in. I cannot recommend them enough.

This was my second project with Discount Siding and Roofing with Rob and Team. I am also a real estate agent so I see a lot. They were very fair on price, super reasonable, did great work. We even had a slight hiccup with the contract terms--I remembered something one way, they remembered it differently--but they honored what was in my memory with no friction--I was very impressed. Highly recommend

Everyone we worked with was wonderful! We are in the middle of selling our house. Rob Lee was very quick to respond and come look at our roof. He was very attentive to us and was at the house when the insurance adjuster came. He was on-top of scheduling when the roof would be and kept us updated every step of the way. Rob Dubel was the supervisor on-site and he was great to call us ahead of time to make sure we didn't have any vehicles in the garage or fragile pictures on the wall that could possibly fall down. We did have a little hiccup with the office in regards to payment but that was all taken care of very professionally. The crew who worked on our roof slaved away all day in 90 degree weather. They knew exactly what they were doing and finished the same day. The roof looks great! We are happy. The people who are buying our house are happy. I would say everyone is pretty happy. THANK YOU!
