Does not exist here Response to owner: FACT- YOU DO NOT EXIST AT THIS ADDRESS. CHANGE IT. THIS HAS BEEN A PRIVATE RESIDENCE FOR TWO YEARS. YOU ARE LYING ABOUT YOUR LOCATION. THAT'S A REALLY SHADY THING FOR A BUSINESS TO DO. OBVIOUSLY NO ONE SHOULD HIRE YOU IF THIS IS WHAT YOU CONSIDER NORMAL BEHAVIOR. I'M TIRED OF REPORTING THIS TO GOOGLE ON YOUR BEHALF.

Ms Williamson, we absolutely exist in Lafayette and have for years, in fact we are building a new facility in Lafayette because we outgrew our old one. Leaving a 1 star review when we have never talked to you is careless.

If it were possible to leave less than zero stars I would reserve them all for discount roof out of Lafayette IN. I called to get a free estimate, as expected a man showed up and walked all over my already weak roof and left after saying he'd reach out the next day with a price. A few days past before I reached out and left a message, soon enough after 2 weeks and many failed attempts to reach them had gone by without a single word. Thats when I got a message saying my trailer roof was too big of a job for them, I took the denial graciously and went about my life until the unprofessionalism of this business reached an all time high this evening when my wife received a message at 9:30 pm from the discount roof representative saying that he knows it's late but they've changed their mind and can now fix my rubber trailer roof for the exuberant amount of $15,000. If your business can't even give an estimate job properly, what makes you think anyone in their right mind would trust you to do their roof properly......DISCOUNT ROOFING, DISCOUNT QUALITY AND EVEN MORE DISCOUNT EMPLOYEES......

We apologize that your experience with Discount Roof was not what you anticipated. When this appointment was initially made our office tried to narrow down with the person making the call what the project was exactly. We could only get limited information that it was a flat roof, and that it was not a house. Only knowing it was a flat roof, the appointment was set for one of our commercial roof estimators. When he arrived on scene it obviously was not a commercial roof, but a mobile home in disrepair. After evaluation he concluded we could not accept the job, not because it was too big of a job for us but because the cost value would not be worth it to the property owner to fix. After time went by and discussions with a residential estimator and looking at the photos and what work would be needed, an estimate was furnished to you because the residential estimator had done work similar to that before. We do not hide cost, do not add on price to a job unless absolutely necessary, the entire mobile home needs framing for the roof to be secure, and we wanted you to know the entire cost up front. Our estimate was for $15000, you hired someone for $9000, we really hope it works out for that price, and we agree with you, putting $15000 into a $6000 mobile home does not make sense. To answer your question who would trust us to do their roof properly, over 10000 satisfied customers in our 34-year history. Again, sorry your experience was not perfect.
