  They were 30% more expensive than a comparable roofing quote, so I didn't use them. Added after they responded: It is a legit review, they were begging people by email and text to give them reviews so they could up their numbers. How else could they have gotten my contact info. The estimate was in 2018 or 2019.

  Sorry Steve but I'm not showing you in our system where we even gave you an estimate. I believe this is not legit. Everyone one in our community Know's we are very competitive and were Never the most expensive. I will be reporting this fake review to Google.

  I had to leave at least 1 star otherwise I cannot leave my experience with Knox Services. I prefer no-star rating for the service I received from this office. I moved into a brand new house in West Lafayette in 2018. There was loose parts on the siding, so I chose Knox Services to fix these problems. The technicians did their work, but these problems (loose siding) reappear. I contacted Knox one more time to ask them to fix these problems, but I got an over-priced estimate for re-fixing these problems. I went to another company, Thayer's, which gave me a reasonable quote. I told Knox Services the reason for choosing Thayer's, but the Knox office decided to do the work at the similar price offered by Thayer's. Knox Service did complete some works, not all of them as stated in the statement. I contacted the office several times, but failed to reach them, only the invoice statements from the office. I received a letter from Knox Services and threatened me to turn my case to their attorneys for collection proceeding. Since Knox Services only did partial work, not the completion of all the work on the statement, I sent partial payment to the office. I also received a letter from their attorney's office and indicated an adverse effect on my credit rating. I have sent messages to the Knox office and asked them to fix all the items on the statement. I will pay for what service I receive. I promise all the words here are my true experience with Knox Serveries. I just share my unpleasant and unprofessional experience with Knox here to give all the potential customers a hint: What kind of service Knox Services provide to their customers in real life, Not as the services Knox Services promise as in Ads. Word of customer's mouth is the most effective form of advertisement.

  I contacted knox services because of all the great reviews they have.Nobody called back to schedule an appointment for the work I needed done after I had the estimate. I called and emailed the office several times and never heard back. Come to find out they just came to my house and did the work without me knowing anything about it. very unprofessional. I called and spoke to one of the managers after i received the bill in the mail for the work I didn't even know had been done. I said I was not gonna pay because I have no proof that the work was done since it was an issue under the siding . he told me they took pictures and he was gonna send them to me but never did. when i called back again i was told there are no pictures and the only did half the work and would have to come back . I agreed because I was selling the home and didnt have time to hire somebody else. When they came to finish the work they left a big mess. I will never hire knox services again!!!!

  Pros: 1. The company offered a reasonable price. 2. The workers completed reroofing within one day. 3. The workers cleaned up after themselves. Cons: 1. When picking out colors the owner was 30 min late to the meeting causing me to miss a personal appointment myself. 2. After the contract was signed and over half of the costs were paid, I was not told the approximate date of the job. After two weeks I called the owner, and he said that the job would be completed within approximately two weeks and that I would be notified 24 hours in advance. 3. I was not notified in advance of the workers arriving at the house, and I had to try to sleep through the roof work, as I work nights. 4. Replacing the skylight was not on the roof workers work order, but it was on my proposal, I had to notify the owner of this mistake halfway through the roofing job in order to get it done. 5. I received the final invoice email at approximately 2:50pm on 04/20/2016 with a due date of 04/20/2016 and no explanation of a grace period, until I questioned the owner through email and voice mail (as the company never answers their phones) explaining that it would not be possible for me to get a check in the mail the same day because of how late he emailed me the invoice. He then explained that I would have a 15 day grace period. Punctuality and effective communication are lacking and this comes across as unprofessional. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

  It started from the first call....young lady taking the call was knowledgeable and vary professional. They made arrangements for the company representative to meet at our convenience. He arrived on time and presented himself as if was there to help not sell. We definitely appreciated that. After scheduling the job, the crew arrived on time and started right in on the job. It was completely finished by the end of the day....every bit of trash and nails were picked up. We were concerned, as we were not able to be at the residence during the entire project. It was handled as though they were working on their own house. Thank you Knox Services, Martha and Terry

  Good experience with Knox from showing up when promised to give us an estimate, to completion of the the roof replacement. Everything was cleaned up properly and the new roof looks great.

  From start to finish - The crew at Knox did a great job on our home. Adam was easy to work with during the quoting process. The install went smooth and they worked quickly to get the job done. It looks really nice and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

  Knox recently installed new shingles on my roof. They completed the job in under 1 day, and the area around the periphery of the house appeared to be untouched. The following day they returned to make sure everything was acceptable and met my expectations. I would recommend Knox to anyone needing roof repairs.

  I had Knox replace some gutters on my house and am very pleased. They were upfront about their suggestions on what I should do and the cost. I even changed my mind on what I wanted after the first install. They came right back out to listen to my additional request. I would recommend Knox Services for any job, big or small
