  Call for a quote and couldn’t even get one. No explanation given at all. Was told they don’t want my work. I’d go with someone who values new customers and takes pride in working for the community. Edit to the reply: given your response, this doesn’t align with your coverage area given on your newly developed website and doesn’t align that I was emailed to take you off my list for future projects.

Your project was right on the edge of our service radius, and given our current workload, we wouldn't have been able to get to you in a timely manner. We try to be upfront about our limits so we don't overpromise and under-deliver, but it sounds like that wasn't communicated clearly. We wish you the best with your project.

  We were very disappointed with Thayer’s interior painting service. We had to repaint and scrape off paint for days. They had to redo some of the ceilings the next day after they didn’t let a layer dry before painting it and it was peeling …

  Called to get information about siding and the girl was unsure. Asked if I could talk to the person she was talking to and was not able to. When I am spending my money I want to talk to the person I need to talk to!!!!!!

  Had an appointment today for an estimate. He did not even show up because he couldn't find the place. I waited a week just for an estimate to be told to just call Sherwin-Williams to find other painters. Gary Thayer wasted my time.

  We had Thayer's work on two projects for us within the same month. Thayer's exterior crew led by Levi completely demolished and rebuilt our two-story deck and did a fantastic job. Under budget in both time and money, the crew was polite, responsive, and always kept a clean worksite. Interior painting crew with Benji in the lead painted almost our entire house (walls, ceilings, and trim) and did a great job. Polite, clean, and worked quickly to complete within one week. Moved all of our furniture, put it back, and spoiled our cat with plenty of love. Thank you Thayer's!

  Thayer's did a great job re-siding our house. The crew was very professional and cleaned up everything. They exceeded our expectations and our old house looks better than ever. We love the new color of the siding and Alex was very knowledgeable and helpful. We would definitely use them again for any remodeling we need.

  I live in Monticello and received several quotes for my new roof and skylights. I choose Thayers because of their longevity of being in business their competitive pricing and their reputation of doing a great job. The roof and new skylight project went flawlessly. Gunner was my rep from day 1 and he did a great job of being onsite and informing me of progress. I give them a 5 star rating !

  I’ve had two roofs on two houses done by Thayers and each time I’ve been extremely happy with the results. The first was shingles and this recent one was a metal roof. They were quick, efficient, and did a very good job.

  I was particularly impressed with the attention to detail that was displayed in addressing the problem we had. The price was reasonable and the workers took pictures of the remediation work they did before it was covered with siding.
