Wish I could give them 0 stars for the extremely disrespectful and unprofessional conversation I had with Chris on Wednesday. Called multiple roofing companies for quotes and Chris from Destin roofing shows up 30 minutes early to his …

Ms. Harvey, we are sorry to hear about your disappointment with our service. When you called to schedule, I offered 9:00, but you preferred 10:00, and Chris arrived early to assist you sooner. You didn't mention having another roofing company scheduled. Chris's intention was to provide honest advice and suggested checking with the original installer to avoid voiding any warranty. He apologized when he realized his advice was upsetting you. We hope your roof issue has been resolved. Thank you for your feedback.

Don't recommend. Did not stand behind their work. Charged me a bunch of money to fix my roof leak but they didn't really do anything. Just tighten some screws and put down a little compound was here maybe an hour not much more. Roof leaked the very next time it rained. I texted the tech. He said he'd make a new ticket and swing by next time he was in the area. After over two months they never came by. Rained again. Leaked again. Texted again. Guy didn't remember me. But did come back (which is why they're getting 2 instead of 1). He told me how they'd need to get a moisture meter and do a water test, etc and that he'd get back when they could schedule. He later texted and said that they weren't coming back. That my roof wasn't installed correctly. So, they took my money and fired us. Would live in a tent before I gave Destin any more money --- Update: The response from the owner below came *after* they had already called me. The owner talked "at me" telling me that I should have never texted the tech directly (even though he gave me his number and asked me to do so) - that I ought to have called the office. They then told me how they brought the tech in, who has been with the company for 30 years, and scolded him for making commitments to the customer and then telling me what both of us ought to have done, etc. They were not concerned with my poor experience. They were only concerned that I had given them a poor review. **They then offered to refund my money but only if I deleted this review** I told them that I'd be happy to update my review if they came out and did the work that the tech had committed to. They declined. So, I've taken a star away from these guys. I love that they are looking at these reviews and want to have a positive impression in the community. However, I believe it is unethical to ask a customer to take down a less than stellar review for a price. Perhaps there are other bad reviews out there that were removed and perhaps some of these 5 stars

Sir, I have to commend you. You have a vivid imagination and can create your version. You know this was not a roof we originally installed. You know you only contracted us to replace a few screws and seal at some flashing areas. We also … More

Armed with pros (like Chris) with decades of experience, Destin Roofing has inspected and cared for my roof for several years now. The roof is concrete tile and about 23 years old. Others may have told me to replace it by now, but Chris told me that, honestly, it’s sound and doesn’t need replacing. Integrity, honesty and deep professional experience is why I will only trust the care of my roof to Destin Roofing.

Eric and the team showed up today on time and repaired a leak by the chimnney on our daughters house. They were great guys to work with. They had the job completed in a timely manner. They put a tarp down on the grass to catch the used shingles and used a magnet to check for any nails that might have came off the roof during tear off. I have roofed houses in my younger days and they knew what they were doing. I would highly recommened this company. Don D Today July 2nd 2025 the team came by my house to fix a gutter. They were on time and did a great job. Thanks again Destin Roofing for treating us right. Yall are the best roofing company I have ever dealt with. Don D

This company installed our roof in 2017, and since then, has responded twice on inquiries to ensure the quality of their product!! Even recently (8 years later), they are responsive. They went through the trouble to find a report useful to selling our property. The company has always been very reliable and trustworthy, which is an invaluable trait these days.

I needed a small roof repair done quickly. They were out the next day and completed the repair. They provided quick but quality service at a fair price. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Destin Roofing did a great job on repairing a lightning strike and replacing the entire roof of our home, a tall Victorian with some challenging features. They were professional and helpful from the start with a comprehensive estimate to the finish with clean-up. We'll definitely use them for our future roofing needs.

Destin Roofing is an exceptional 5-Star company. They did a first-class job in every respect when they replaced our roof in 2003. So, in June 2023 after a large hickory tree fell onto our roof during a severe thunderstorm, causing structural damage and multiple leaks, I drove to the Destin Roofing office to talk face-to-face with Iris, the owner. She sensed my stress and immediately adjusted her schedule to have a temporary patch installed that same day. Then, only two days later, a 7-man team arrived and replaced our entire 20-year-old roof in a few days, working until sunset each day. Destin Roofing’s quick response and their highly professional job reflect a “family culture” that Iris has instilled in her employees over the years under her leadership. I would especially like to mention Chris who came to the house to assess the work needed and recommend options, Rodney who prepared a comprehensive proposal and answered my questions, and Eric who was the on-site superintendent leading the roofing team. As the client, Destin Roofing made me feel like I was a member of their “family” during the entire process. I highly recommend Destin Roofing as a first choice for roof installations and repair work.
