  Hi Jason, We would like the public community to understand the full situation. First, you have not contracted nor paid for any services from Desert Valley Roofing. As a courtesy during your purchase of the property, we offered a complimentary transfer of the workmanship warranty and performed a full roof inspection at no cost to you. Following that inspection, we recommended general roof maintenance to help preserve the life of the underlayment. As previously explained, we discussed the details of the workmanship warranty with our paying customers. The 5-year workmanship warranty covers any roof leaks on the property during the warranty period. At this time, no leaks have been reported. By definition, a workmanship warranty covers the quality of installation, such as improper installation, poor workmanship, or errors in application. It does not cover normal aging of materials or the product itself. Regarding your request to reseal the vent pipes under the workmanship warranty, dried or deteriorated sealants are considered normal wear and tear. In Las Vegas, extreme heat and sun exposure can significantly shorten the lifespan of sealants, even when high-quality materials are used. Roof systems require periodic upkeep, much like a vehicle requires regular maintenance. Components such as sealants naturally wear down over time and are part of routine ownership responsibilities rather than warranty coverage. For that reason, maintenance items such as resealing are not typically covered under a workmanship warranty unless they are associated with an active leak. This is consistent with standard industry practice among licensed contractors. As noted previously, general roof maintenance is recommended every 3 to 5 years. Because your most recent email indicated that you would leave a negative public review if we did not provide resealing at no cost, we did not believe a further response was productive.   Neighbor had 2 small leaks over on a tile roof that is approximately 25 years old. A single story 1300 sq ft living area plus 2 car garage. Estimate requested options. On time and very professional estimator, but my neighbor only received 2 options. Minimal area around leaks and whole roof. At my suggestion I thought she should request a revised estimate that eliminated the garage area which is separated by a roof ridge and has no leaks. While reading other reviews and seeing the Companies statement regarding 100% customer satisfaction I was surprised that their response was "No" in other words they said take it or leave it. This in no way reflects on the roofing work they do but customer service in my opinion means getting the customer what they want. I regard management as being all talk. I would suggest leaving it. Managements response again fails to address quality of customer service. When the estimate was received my neighbor sent a response email with a request for a call from the estimator..This call would have resolved our "lack of understanding".   The garage roof area that your neighbor asked us to remove from the bid, was the front face of the garage and our only access point to the roof. This area is where we load all materials and unload all roofing debris into a trash box. With all the foot traffic working in this area and the tile not being removed at your request, there would have been damage to this section of the roof. Desert Valley Roofing demands 100% customer satisfaction but because we offer warranties on all leak repairs and are the experts in the industry, we will always determine the scope of work we are willing to perform. We offer long term leak repair solutions with over 30 years of experience and feel we have the knowledge to decide the best repair options for the consumer. Your lack of experience in this industry offers the readers no insight into our customer service, yet demonstrates your frustration with the estimating process.

  They provided excellent service to replace 20 damaged / cracked Spanish roof tiles that were originally cracked and first repaired during a solar install. After the solar install a couple years ago, the solar team fixed cracked tiles using an epoxy glue material and replaced some broken tiles with non-matching color tiles. Desert Valley was contacted to take a look at a maybe unrelated mangled roof pipe used for sewage. They did not charge for that initial inspection but noticed some cracked/damaged tiles and noted the coloration difference used to replace some of them with an epoxy like glue material. They provided a fair quote to replace the tiles with same matching color as original tiles. They promptly showed up on time as scheduled and completed the effort in about 3 hours. They showed lots of photos of the work done. The new replacement tiles match the color of the original tiles and there are no more cracked tiles and none with that epoxy glue like material. Now, all the tiles are matching again. They also cleaned up roof debris

  Arrived when scheduled. Work was done in the time frame that was quoted. Nothing extra added to the original quote. All the personnel that I dealt with were courteous and professional. The roof looks good and stood up as it should during the recent rain. I would recommend this company to anyone needing their roof replaced.

  I checked around for top rated roofers in town. After getting five different estimates, I went with Desert Valley Roofing based on the knowledge of the estimator Victor Ayala, and they had the best pricing by several hundred dollars. They did great work and provided several pictures of the repair . I would use them again and would recommend them to my clients.

  I tried calling a few places before I found Desert Valley. No one returned my calls! Ashley at Desert Valley was great. They scheduled me for an estimate the next day. They arrived on time and were thorough and polite. He showed me pictures of the roof and what needed to be done. With in a few days I got an estimate. I found it to be reasonable. Shortly after I had a crew out that did the repairs in about 2 hours. Ashley emailed me pictures of the completed work. I liked that because I wasn't going to go up there and check it. But I was curious as to how it looked. They did a great job at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend.

  Very happy with every aspect of the process. Estimator was professional and courteous. Provided the worst case scenario for my aging roof. Was thankful to be aware rather than hit mid install. Thankfully, Turned out to not be so bad. Scheduling went smoothly, and no remnants when completed. Just a beautiful new roof.
