After in installing new roofs on all the townhouses here(400+),we have had nothing but problems. 30 to 50% of residents have reported problems. The owner came to look and walk into my house and said it was from my skylights and it wasn't his responsibility. He then turned to walk out at which time words were spoken and I tried to show him where I knew the problem was. He charged me (The owner) shaking his fist saying he was going to kick my ass. He tried to head but me but only connected nose to nose. Since there were no witnesses and no blood, the cops did nothing. Because of his shotty work, I'm out $4000 dollars just to fix what they messed up Edit- Went to the Association Board meeting (after they canceled last months) and presented the facts of this case. Board will review and let me know of its decision. Now they wanted even more money from the association and put a lien on all properties so we couldn't sell till it was paid. These guys are scam artists!!!

  In October of 2022 Mike Nolan came out to inspect my roof and give me an estimate. He told me that he was there for me and just give them a call if I needed anything. I called to have them do some roof repairs, but he never returned my calls. In 2023 I gave him another chance and he came out to give another estimate. In July of 2023 I accepted his bid. I called him after a month went by with no communication from him or the company. He said to me that he was going on vacation and wouldn't be back until after August 5th. He said he would call me with a time to do the project after he got back. That call never came. I called him one more time after that and he never returned my call. I called the company and they told me they would put my work at the top of the list, she apologized and she would definitely have Mike call me. That call never came. Thanks Mike!

  Had a leak a couple days after install, they argued with us and decided to cuss at me on the phone about fixing it. i had to repair a wall of drywall, mud, sand, paint etc. in our new kitchen. they didn't connect the plywood correctly on a corner of the roof and multiple nails showing past shingles whch had to be sealed and another sealing problem that was discovered by a separate roofing repair company that we had to hire because Davis roofing would not fix or take responsibility for their mistakes. it cost us an additional 800$ to have all of this repaired. We filed a complaint with our township for granting a permit to this company. This total does not include my time and money to repair the wall in our kitchen. Call a different roofing company, there are plenty of them out there.

  Michael, Davis Roofing & Construction installed your roof in September 2016, in August 2017 we came out to inspect the reported roof leak and sent you a detailed explanation as well as pictures for the problem you were having. There were no problems with the roof Davis Roofing installed and we have not heard from you since. The water leakage was a result of poor workmanship on the gutters and soffit/fascia including covering rotten wood with new metal fascia, Davis Roofing was not the contractor who did this work. We take pride in our work and always make sure the customer is happy when the job is completed. Please let us know if you would like another copy of the inspection report from 2017.

  Stay far away from Davis Roofing and Construction. We needed a new roof in 2014 and Dan seemed very upfront and honest. We hired him and then later he referred us to his father for siding and gutter replacement. Everything seemed great at first, but we noticed a piece of the drywall of our ceiling starting to pull apart. Our house was built in 61, so I figure it is simply settling issues. Fast forward to last year (2018) and there is water leaking down the wall. I call Dan and he hesitates to even send anyone out telling us that it must be our humidifier. Eventually he folds and sends Jason out. Talk about unprofessional. Jason tells me that it is definitely because we have our heat in the house up "too high". This is winter and we keep our home at 65 at night and 68 during the day. I don't believe that to be too unreasonable. Jason tells me since we can't see the leak there is nothing that can be done, but he'll be a nice guy and go up on the roof anyway. While he is up there, I cut out an 8 ft by 16" piece of the drywall and pull out the insulation to expose what is clearly a leak coming through the boards of the roof - in fact, I can feel the shingle. Jason tells me that it is an "act of God" and cannot be fixed at cost to them. He then blames it on improperly pitched gutters which Dan's dad put on the house. I call Dan, the owner, after Jason leaves and he tells me that I need to go through my insurance - essentially asking me to commit insurance fraud which I, morally and ethically, cannot do. He tells me that this is the same as if a tornado were to tear off the roof which clearly this is not the case. He then continues to tell me that it cannot be the roof and that he has done hundreds of jobs and none have ever had problems, apparently everyone else on yelp didn't have any problems either.... He then tells me it is from the gutters as Jason did. He tells me to call Chris. When I ask who Chris is he tells me it is the guy that did my gutte

  Davis Roofing & Construction installed Mr. Batey’s new roof in the fall of 2014. After the new roof was installed there were ZERO problems or roof leaks after years of extreme rain and average snow. We received a call in February 2018 after a recent snow and the first extreme Polar Vortex that Mr. Batey had water dripping down his wall. Davis Roofing & Construction immediately sent our service team out to inspect. We applied calcium chlorite in the gutters and removed chucks of ice. We were refused access to the attic by Mr. Batey nor would he listen to our verbal explanation about interior humidity and the lack of sufficient attic insulation. A week later after a series of complaints and nasty comments from Mr. Batey, Davis Roofing & Construction returned as a courtesy to re-pitch his gutters and add additional downspouts. Another year went by and now Mr. Batey is having more interior water damage after another round of extreme Polar like temperatures in February 2019. Davis Roofing & Construction is not responsible for the major heat loss that is occurring in Mr. Batey’s attic. We have also contacted him numerous times to inspect the attic and schedule appointment to inspect the interior of his home, and we have never received a call back. It is important to note that both times Mr. Batey complained about interior leakage that the outside temperatures were below freezing and had been for an extended period of time. The only water that could be entering his home is the direct result of heat loss from the attic causing the premature melting of the snow and ice on his roof. We received online negative reviews that are unsubstantiated rants from Mr. Batey that are completely untrue. Davis Roofing & Construction is considering filing a defamation lawsuit for his uncalled-for personal attacks in his reviews. Mr. Batey has refused to consider ice damming, attic heat loss, and high humidity levels as the cause of his interior moisture problems. Here is a link to a non-

  Great upfront sales but didn't deliver as promised. The overall job went well, what didn't go well with one exception was quickly rectified after I did a walk through and pointed out a few areas of concern. Unfortunately one issue was left unresolved which to me is fairly major. The representative I was working with (Ean) agreed they should do the work after reviewing the contract and claimed he spoke to his Management (Dan) and that the work would be completed. Week and weeks went by with many calls and many "I will be there tomorrow" promises but it never happened. When I got in touch with the company, I was informed that they knew nothing about what Ean has promised and that they consider the job done. i am now left with an incomplete job and a sour taste in my mouth regarding Davis Roofing and Construction, Inc. They failed me, I have documentation and voicemail evidence and unfortunately am considering my legal options to resolve the issue. If anyone would like more specific detail, please feel free to reach out to me. I don't want to just bash this company because for the most part they did a pretty good job but they didn't finish it and once they had my money they completely disconnected with me. I never even got my paperwork as promised. Shame on me for writing that final check with the promise that they would come back the next day to finish up. Lesson learned.

  We had a severe roof leak and needed a roofer to come do some roof repairs. I called manoy roofers and no one answered their phone. Thankfully I was able to get a hold of Dan from Davis Roofing in Addison and he was able to send a roofer out right away. I am so appreciative they were willing to acomódate us in this lousy weather.

  Terrific job on my roof and on time!! Much better than the other company that goes by the same name. The roof looks spectacular!! Very professional and detail oriented and they stayed within their quote. Highly recommend!!

  We had Davis Roofing do a complete tear off and reroof of our home. We were given a fair and reasonable assessment of the costs. All the work was completed in a timely manner on the promised day. Area was completely cleaned up at the end of the roofing project and gutter installation was done by Davis following the roof. We are completely satisfied with the entire project and would highly recommend Davis Roofing.

  If you need a new roof, call David Roofing. I couldn’t be more please with the work and level of service we received. The work was completed quickly and the clean-up was awesome. Pricing was also $7000 less that the competitors I solicited bids from. You will not be sorry if you use them. BTW - Mike came out to my house after an incident that could have damaged the roof (not two weeks after the install) and walked the roof and inspected it for damage without charge. That’s service!

  The new Owens/Corning roof shingles and gutters, installed in fall 2024, is a pleasure to view and a great improvement. The crew was efficient, working steadily to insure the roof was done properly and clean up was thorough. Our contact, Mike, was incredibly helpful in the selection of the roof type/shingle color, matching the fascia for the gutters and replacement of the chimney surround. Davis Roofing’s experience showed in all aspects of the process.

  This is an excellent roofing company. The Superintendent Mike N. was fantastic. He was honest and was easy to speak to. They tore off the old roof and put on the new roof in 7 hours. I highly recommend their services.

  Davis replaced my roof last year. They did good work, were fast, and affordable. Today I needed a roofer on short notice to finish vents for a bathroom installation and Mike was at my house within an hour! Fast and reliable.

  Davis Roofing was great to work with! They were responsive with questions I had and were very nice. The guys who installed the roofs on my garage and house were great, efficient and quick. They showed up by 7:15 and were done before 5:15 pm. The crew was about 10 guys and they pretty much worked non-stop. The roof looks great, too! I highly recommend Davis!
