  When Dan Roofing came out for the estimate the guy actually got up there and looked instead of eyeballing it from the driveway and calling it a day. That set the tone. They kept me briefed on when they'd be starting and stuck to it. The crew worked steady and were mindful moving around the house and the flower beds. What sold me though is how the roof turned out. Everything sits flat and even, no waves or crooked rows like I've seen on some houses around us. It just looks right, and I don't have to think about it anymore, which honestly is all I was after.

  Our old roof was rough. Shingles worn down and a couple spots up top had started to dip a little, so we figured it was time to just replace the whole thing rather than keep patching. Dan Roofing stripped it all off and put a new one on. The thing I keep noticing is how much better the upstairs feels now on hot afternoons, apparently the ventilation was part of that and they mentioned it during the estimate and I told them to go ahead. They also swapped out the gutters while they were at it. The pace was good, didn't drag on for a week like I worried it might, and they were careful around the bushes and beds along the side of the house. We've had a few nasty storms blow through since and not a drop inside, no loose shingles, nothing. The roof looks a lot cleaner than the patchwork mess we had before and I don't find myself staring up at it wondering when something's going to go wrong. Straight shooters the whole way and they did what they said they'd do.

  We uncovered a leak above the kitchen that turned out to be a cracked boot around a plumbing vent. Dan Roofing found it quickly and replaced it the same day. Ceiling has stayed dry through every day since.

  Dan Roofing did a tear off and full replacement on our ranch. Shingles look really good, lines are straight, no waves or weird transitions where the old roof had some sag. They also added a couple roof vents which has made a real difference in how warm the upstairs gets in summer. Flashing around the chimney was redone and looks way better than the rusty mess that was up there before. Solid materials, color is exactly what we picked.
