  I was quoted $20,000 for a roofing job. On installation day, the crew discovered damaged roof decking and the owner texted me a few photos. When I asked how this would affect the price, he said they'd calculate the cost once they determined how many boards needed replacement. A week later, I received a bill for $29,000... an unexpected $9,000 increase. I was surprised by the extent of the additional charges. What concerned me most is that CR Roofing's contract doesn't require customer approval before replacing decking-even for an entire roof. This meant I had no opportunity to review the scope of the additional work or get a second opinion before the work was completed and billed. My recommendation to others: Before signing any roofing contract, consider adding a clause requiring written customer approval for all change orders-especially deck replacement work, regardless of scope or cost. Having that protection in your contract gives you more control over unexpected expenses.

  CR Roofing did a wonderful job of replacing my roof. Their staff was prompt, courteous, and very hard working. They were also extremely meticulous in cleaning up my property after they completed their work. I would highly recommend them and have done so already.

  I had a wonderful experience with Chris and his entire team! Owning a rental property and managing it from out of state can be tough, but Chris was someone I could trust to do the job properly. He was extremely communicative, honest and trustworthy, not to mention he was able to get me on the schedule quickly and finish the roof in just 1 day. His prices are very fair and I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs roof repairs! I had a great experience and will definitely be working with him again. Thank you so much Chris :)

  Excellent follow-up from Chris. I like dealing directly with the owner of a company because obviously they’ve got a lot invested in making sure the outcome is great, and it was! Highly recommend!

  Chris from CR Exteriors went out of his way to make sure the job was done on time and at a fair price. He walked me through all the steps of understanding the installation of a roof and was there to answer any questions I had. It’s hard to get service like this anymore

  CR Roofing and Exteriors replaced our roof and gutters. This company does excellent work. From our initial consultation , with excellent response time, all the way to the final gutter install, Chris provided excellent communication and service. I highly recommend them.

  We were pleased with the work done by CR Roofing and Exteriors on our roof: quality craftsmanship, completed on time, and the overall cost felt more than appropriate for the scope of the project, and the amount of work required. The team was professional throughout, and the owner, Chris, was responsive and easy to talk to. During the job, some additional work was identified – which understandably can happen in roofing projects. There was an adjustment to our overall cost that, while expected, ended up being higher than anticipated. I shared feedback with Chris regarding communication around the change order, and I truly appreciated how receptive and understanding he was. We had a productive conversation, and I felt heard and respected. I’m confident that CR Roofing and Exteriors stands behind their work and values their customers. I would recommend them to others and encourage open communication (from both the customer and the company) throughout any project – something I believe the owner is fully committed to.   Did a fantastic job on the roof installation. A few years later, had a large branch damage the roof in a storm. They were out the next day to repair. Great, reliable work, from a great business.
