  Ken was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable assisting through the insurance claims process, and his crews did an amazing job. Also repaired siding and replaced shutters. Eric, who did that work, was great, taking particular care not to damage landscaping, which was not easy.

  We had Countryside do a complete siding job last fall along with installing two windows. Our house looks great! Every time we pull in to our drive we are reminded how good a decision it was . Countryside did a fantastic job! Very professional, timely and Pat explained everything and answered all our questions.   My New buddy, Eric,, came out the same night after a tornado ripped through our neighborhood in Bartlett to patch a hole until we can have you guys replace that section of the roof. He drove all the way from somewhere way up north got here at 9:30 PM. Put his headlight on and went to it. And a good thing too because the next night we had about 4 inches of rain. Also, Eric and I reviewed various beers, bacon, and beef products. Excellent. - tom springer

  Tom, this made our day! Eric is the kind of guy who will drive across town and get a tarp on at 9:30 at night to beat the rain, and we are glad he got to it before those 4 inches hit. We will get that section of roof replaced for you, and thanks for the beer and bacon review too.

Gutters usually get judged on whether they leak, but in Naperville the thing worth looking at in late summer is what is holding them up. Walk the perimeter and look at the top edge where the gutter meets the fascia board. Older systems use long spikes driven straight through, and heat, ice, and years of full gutters slowly work them loose. A spike head backed out a quarter inch, a gap opening between the gutter and the wood, or a section dipping in the middle all mean the fasteners are giving out before the gutter is. Hidden hangers screwed into the fascia every couple of feet hold far better. Worth a look around Cress Creek and Steeple Run, where mature trees keep gutters heavy most of the season.2 days agoLearn more
