  This is probably the most heartfelt review I have ever written. Compass Roofing was definitely the best decision we made for our roofing needs. Mark Flanagan is an extremely patient, detail oriented, considerate, and highly knowledgeable person. He guided us throughout the entire process, from filing a claim and negotiating a settlement to thoroughly investigating any damages that were missed by the insurance company. He also helped us decide on any repairs and fixes down to the last nail. Mark was always just a text away, consistently responding promptly to calls and messages, and kept us informed throughout the process. As our contractor, he took care of every single detail. The only worry when working with Mark was that I initially thought he was too good to be true. However, he truly knows what he is doing. I am so happy with our roof and the several other aspects of our project that were brilliantly handled. I am truly appreciative of the great work and wonderful service from this company. I highly, highly recommend Compass Roofing.

  Mark with Compass Roofing was very professional, courteous, attentive, accomodating, and experienced. The crew that was sent out to replace my roof and gutters cleaned as they went and completed their jobs within a day. I am very satisfied with the results. I can't recommend this company enough.

  Mark and Compass Roofing were fantastic!! Had a water leak as a result of of very heavy rains. Mark was able to come and inspect the leaking area next day and had a crew fixing my roof two days later!! All before the next storm hit!! Great …

  We have owned 22 properties and we can tell you that our experience with Compass Roofing was our best experience ever when it comes to accurate roof evaluations, fair estimates, unparalleled expertise in dealing with insurance companies, and ultimately a quality roof replacement.  Compass Roofing and Mark Flanagan as project manager are simply the Best of the Best and will always be THE company we call for roofing needs. Mark gave us estimates on several roofs without any sells pressure and never attempted to up-sell or up-charge us.  In fact, he let us know when work was not needed and would offer least-cost options.  Mark's expertise and abilities when it comes to understanding and dealing with the insurance industry are unsurpassed... he upfront advised on the likelihood of our roofs being covered in a claim.  Mark as a project manager anticipated and stayed ahead of every of step of our roofing project;  keeping us informed as it progressed... he does the worrying for you so you don't have to! On top of the great job Compass Roofing does with replacing a roof what really sets them apart in the roofing industry is their understanding of what insurance companies are required to cover in a claim and how to engage them on your behalf.  This is an area where all other roofing companies we have dealt with have failed!!  Mark's expertise in this area is unsurpassed.  He will up-front tell you if he thinks a roof replacement should likely be covered and help you fight the insurance company if they are wrong.  We had a roof a claim denied when we worked with a different roofing company; Mark examined the roof and was confident we could fight the denied insurance claim and fully explained the process.  We won and the roofing company paid up with Mark's insight and facilitating help.  Without his help we most assuredly would have had to pay for the entire roof replacement... thousands of dollars out of pocked!   Compass Roofing with always the roofing company we call!!

  This company may be the #1 contractor (yes, not just roofing company, but CONTRACTOR overall) that I have ever done business with. My wife contacted Compass to take a look at a wet spot we had on the ceiling of our sunroom. Mark came out promptly to inspect and found the issue came from how the sunroom was added on to the house. While many other, larger companies have trained inspectors to offer a "total fix" solution (i.e. up-sell), especially when meeting with my wife who is notoriously horrible about falling for sales pitches, Mark at Compass was 100% transparent and honest. He explained the problem and broke down a number of possible solutions at varying prices which ranged from basically re-doing the attachment work ($10k+), or simply performing some regular maintenance to mitigate the problem worsening (clean your damn gutters). He told us they offer this service for $100, but it's a very simple DIY project that should take less than an hour. Obviously we chose the DIY route, but there was a problem... A ice-storm was coming in less than a day, and we were going to be taking our 1-year old daughter into surgery. Mark did emphasize that the frozen precipitation could cause a more serious issue, but he understood our dilemma. After we parted ways, Mark called us back a few hours later. He was concerned with our gutter situation given the looming storm and REALLY did not want us to be stuck with a leaky roof AND a post-surgery infant all at once. So, he offered to come back later that very same day and clean the gutters out himself on his off hours! We were so grateful for his genuine concern and kindness. We insisted that we will happily pay him for his time, but he refused. After much back and forth, he accepted a small donation to his local church in lieu of payment, and we happily made it. The world needs more exceptional human beings like Mark, and we will happily be contacting him for any and all roofing/ gutter services from Compass in the future.
