  Spoke with a rep. from Collins about getting a cash offer quote for a new roof. The individual REFUSED to give me a quote until he saw my insurance claim. Roofing companies only do this in order to charge you as much money as they can get from your insurance company, not the actual cost of a new roof. They do not need to see your insurance claim until after a quote is given. After the quote, the roofing company can make sure they meet all the requirements of your insurance and if need be, add on any additional charges they missed in the initial quote to cover all issues identified by your insurance. I refuse to do business with a company that cannot be honest up front with a quote without trying to maximize their profit using my insurance money. After telling the rep. from Collins this very fact, he then proceeded to try and shame me by trying to make the point that I was going to get an inferior product from another company because I'm shopping around for a better deal and not focusing on utilizing all my insurance money. This is a lie because I'm smart enough to look at my insurance statement and ensure that the company I get a quote from is covering everything my insurance company identified in their initial quote. Go with a roofing company that will give you a cash offer quote up front before seeing your insurance payout. Collins is not one of these companies.

  If I could give a lower reading, the one star, I would! Have contacted, reached out several times directly to Matt and home office to have a job to get finished that has not been done yet. No reply no phone call no email no nothing everything has already been paid in full. They promised to come back and finish they never did. I will never use this company again unfortunately we gonna have to get a lawyer and we’re gonna have to go to court order to get our money back money was paid out of pocket and by Insurance companies. Truly disappointing and highly not recommended.

  Excellent experience from start to finish. They provided prompt service, an honest and reasonable quote, and professional follow-through while replacing our attic turbines.   This is my fourth time using Collins and Son on 2 different houses. Their honesty, professionalism, and unmatched quality are why I keep coming back. Communication was easy and helpful from start to finish. While their quote was slightly higher, the peace of mind that the job is done right is worth it. The crew worked efficiently from dawn until after dark to install architectural shingles, leaving the yard looking spotless. Someone from the company came the next business day to inspect the work and run a final magnet sweep. A truly professional company and crew!

  This was an excellent experience from start to finish. We purchased our house in 2022 and knew we would have to replace the roof in a few years. Matt came out gas our roof and inspection and we felt instant trust of his knowledge and professionalism. As part of the package the vents were painted to match and the turbines were replaced. Neighbors have commented about how great it looks. The crew was one of the hardest working groups I have ever seen. THANK YOU!

  I had my turbine vents replaced. After the installation I received a text from Matt informing me that a damaged turbine was installed by mistake. He sent a tech to replace the damage vent. If he had not notified me, I probably would have never known about the defect. Honesty, professionalism and quality with a company is rare.
