  Star) I hired City Roofing & Exteriors to replace my roof, Hardie board, and gutters. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the quality of the work. After the installation, my roof started leaking and the gutters are also leaking. The Hardie board was installed with large gaps at the joints, which looks unfinished and unprofessional. I expected better workmanship and attention to detail. I contacted the company about these issues, but the problems remain unresolved. A new roof, siding, and gutters should not have leaks shortly after installation. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience and would advise homeowners to inspect the work carefully before making final payment. If the company has not fixed the issues after being notified, you could change the rating to 0/5 where the review site allows it.

  Very unprofessional driving from this company’s vehicle driven by MADE IN CHINA GUY , THIS IS NOT CHINA….The driver showed aggressive behavior and no patience on the road. He needs to understand that driving here requires defensive driving, not the reckless behavior he displayed.

  Unsafe and unprofessional driving from a Ford truck in the NW area., The driver ( Chinese Guy ) was speeding, distracted on his phone, and driving recklessly through a neighborhood where children were present. This kind of behavior puts lives at risk and should not be tolerated.

  This roofing company is actually doing my neighbours roof. They thought it was acceptable to have debris land on my vehicle and to hit my car with giant wooden boards and all sorts of materials. Luckily, I have a camera and got it all on video. I was able to go out and move my vehicle and confronted them and asked why they didn’t ring my door bell and ask me to move my car. They could care LESS. Apparently they are not supposed to use my driveway to move materials around.. which is what they have been doing all day. Have already called the company. Interested to see how this plays out. Pretty sad this is how business is being ran. Damaging someone else’s property is not acceptable. They should’ve asked me to move my vehicle so it wouldn’t be in the cross fire. If I didn’t move my car.. god only knows. Update. Manager paid for damage to my car and were very apologetic.

  We are very unhappy about the customer service. I have asked for a quote on some roofing and gutter repairs. Over 1 month of calling and waiting for this, i have still not got anything. If their team is too busy I would understand but kept leading me on that it would be coming. Over 1 month later, I am giving up on them.

  We observed an employee in a company truck driving all over the place, cutting drivers off, blaring music, stopped halfway into the intersection. Very unprofessional when you advertise your company logo on your truck.

  1/2 star. Quality on the level "made in China". Currently looking for another company for final repair. Look at this hole in the roof- probably for birds, and - gutter collects water directly to the basement.

  Working with Jacky was a good way to insure my house was done properly. If you had someone who is willing to address any issues that's the key for hiring a contractor nowadays in Calgary. Jacky works hard to answer calls and deal with issues right away. Had a full roof and siding replacement and everything looks amazing

  Jacky was very professional and easy to communicate with - text, phone call and in person! We were able to get quotes right away and he was not pushy at all when I said I was still shopping around. The whole process was quick and seamless. I appreciate how the crew was very respectful of my neighbour's property by protecting their side using plywood. My neighbour across the street also mentioned that the crew was careful when removing the old shingles. Will recommend!

  Wow, I’ve got to give a big thumbs-up to Jacky from City Roofing & Exteriors—he’s seriously great! I hired them to fix my Calgary house after that wild August 2024 hailstorm (those golf ball-sized hailstones were no joke!). After checking out a ton of other companies, I was going nuts—some had sky-high quotes, others didn’t even have proper credentials, and loads were too busy to reply. But City Roofing, even with their packed schedule, totally stood out. Jacky was super honest, laid out a clear timeline for me, and bam—from signing the contract to finishing the job, it took about a month and a half, which felt pretty quick! Jacky was my go-to person, always checking in with that genuine, laid-back vibe—you can tell he’s all about doing it right. His team did an awesome job on my roof and siding, making my house look better than ever. They swapped the whole roof in just one day and replaced the siding completely in two days—didn’t even throw off my daily routine! The attention to detail and their can-do spirit really impressed me.   Ten years ago, City Roofing replaced my parents’ roof, and the workmanship was outstanding. This year, after a strong windstorm blew several shingles off my own roof, I contacted City Roofing & Exterior again for a full roof replacement. This time I worked with Jacky, and he was incredibly patient in explaining the whole process and very friendly when discussing pricing options. What impressed me the most was their efficiency and professionalism. Since I was worried about possible water leakage, I asked if the project could be expedited. I signed the contract on Monday, and by Wednesday the crew had already started working on the roof. The work ethic, speed, and customer service from City Roofing are truly top-notch. Highly recommended!
