  Anyone interested in a free solar vent? Please note photo. Installed facing the wrong direction. Second attempt to solve leak. Invoiced twice. $1000+. Has been removed. Problem solved now by knowledgeable roofing company. Unfortunately, zero stars is not an option Cherry and Hoyle are not members of the BBB. Needed to do my homework first.

  Anna, I'm a little shocked to see this show up over a year later. We were attentive to your request and financial concerns as you had expressed at that time. Three visits from our Company to try our best to source your issue after you had four other companies investigate before you came to our office and it was deemed that you needed an insualtion company involved as it wasn't a shingle issue. As a helpful thought we installed a green vent and did tell you that it was a sample vent that worked but the labeling was installed backwards and thats why the manufacturer used them as samples. You approved the use of this green vent as it worked for your budget and agreed to try it at a disounted price. We were trying our best to help you so, seeing this review is a shock to us. Take care.

In many cases, when a home owner experiences a leak, panic sets in and its common to call a multiple amount of companies during that time. We have always done our best to be professional with the first point of contact.

  first time I've taken the time to do a negative review but am really disappointment with this company, extremely poor response to issues with workmanship and install. 2 years after roof replaced by them, we started getting mold, when asked they refused to do anything to help, despite it being clearly caused by their improper work, which was later re-confirmed by 2 other companies who said it was unbelievably poor install. We had to hire a reputable firm to fix Cherry & Hoyles mistakes. 2 years later shingles started to fail, falling off roof and coming part, we called and they totally distanced themselves from any responsibility, they didn't make the shingles but they did spec and suggest them, we learned on our own that the shingles are part of a class action law suit that Cherry & Hoyle did not even mention, but when we asked they did know about it, again no help of any kind from Cherry & hoyle, now have to replace our entire roof within 10 yrs of a supposed 25 year roof. product failure may not e their fault but poor workmanship and certainly an absolute total lack of accountability and follow up are in our view.

  Sorry to hear this John, I wasn't active with the company at the time and it sounds like this needed extra attention.. An issue of ventaltion and a base shingle that failed. I guess a little frustration to add to this unforunate outcome. Being in business since 1953, we have always offered great workmanship, it's unfortunate that the shingles failed and it's a proccess at that time to engage the manufacturer which was a struggle back then... I can relate to the frustration with many warranties and products in general.. Great improvements in shingle qualtiy and warranties and customer service since 2015!

  Percy, i will say that John Glenn was an amzing sales rep. The accuracy , the detial was very impressive. It was a sad day when John retired... Being a small business, times of the year are extremely busy ad we try our best. An honest mistake or possibly missed placed your information. Were always a phone call away!

  Our 20 years old roof needed to be replaced so we contacted Cherry & Hoyle. Rick, the estimator, came by the next day and this was the start of a very positive experience. He explained in detail the materials to be used and the various steps involved to the get shingles eventually nailed down. The quoted price was fair and reasonable so we decided to give Cherry & Hoyle the go-ahead. Due to the fact that the weather in May and early June 2026 was not really roofer-friendly it took several weeks from the day of the quote until they could actually start with our re-shingling project, but then the roofing crew showed up on time and after three days of hard work we got our new roof, which is a fairly big one with two long valleys and a turret. The workmanship was excellent and the clean-up around the house second-to-none … we only found a couple of nails stuck between patio stones! We highly recommend Cherry & Hoyle and, lest we forget, we also want to mention the friendliness of their staff, whether they are on the roof or in the office. Alfred L.

  We had a couple small leaks on our flat Commercial roof last month likely due to an aging roof and winter freeze thaw conditions . We called Cherry and Hoyle Roofing and they got there within a couple days and found and fixed the leaks efficiently and at a fair price. Thank you David and your crews for another job well done !

Their team handles everything with exceptional skill, from shingle roofing and structural repairs to installing standing seam metal roofs.   They were recommended by the contractors doing a renovation on our house and didn’t disappoint. They were here promptly at 7:30 and were done the same day at 5pm. The crew even cleaned our gutters while they were here. They were professional and courteous and cleaned everything up before they left. Fantastic experience. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to have their roof replaced.
