  We live in Black Creek and chose Chattanooga Exteriors to convert an existing deck to a sunroom. We were told repeatedly by the salesman and the project manager that they would not be satisfied with the end result unless we were satisfied. Several issues arose during the project that we were not satisfied with ( roof shingles not matching existing shingles, the use of exterior cement board panels on interior walls causing gaps and visible seams, exterior paint color not matching existing exterior color, poorly installed exterior cement board siding causing visible seams and nails pops, unsightly aluminum panel installed to cover missing/damaged stonework ). All of these issues were discussed with the project manager and the only one that was addressed to our satisfaction was the exterior paint color. We signed off on the project and paid them in full (at a whopping $480/square foot and this did not include flooring or HVAC) because we just needed to move on with our lives, but overall it was a very disappointing and stressful experience.

  Took 9 months to just start job. The operations and management of project was horrible. Would not recommend. Over priced and mismanaged. Installers drive from Atlanta and do great...they are an outsource. The local company I do not recommend.

  This re-siding project has been a nightmare! They have been terrible starting just after I signed my contract. I signed a contract on 7/6 and didn't hear anything from anyone for 2 weeks until I emailed them. I had less than 24 hours notice of my walkthrough, and, again, I only had that notice because I reached out to Chattanooga Exteriors. It was never scheduled, and since I didn't know anyone was coming until they were here, I was unable to be present at the walk through. As I understood it, the walkthrough was meant to ensure that we are on the same page about the work being done, which never happened, and it showed in the final product (so far.. I'm going into week 4 on a 900 sq ft house.. ridiculous). When no one showed on 8/8, I emailed them and was told that was never my start date. I forwarded them the email where I was told my start date was 8/8. I was only provided that information when I reached out to them. They never once contacted me. It only got worse from there. The first day, they tried to raise the price by $1,200 for something that I was told was included in the price, but apparently had neglected to be put in the contract. The first week, we came home every day to the electricity off, the hot water had been shut off (for 24 hours.. we were not told ahead of time we wouldn't be able to shower), the electricity again, and the cable and internet, etc. They were also repairing a hole in the roof, and they repeatedly told me that the job had been completed, They continued to argue with me that it had been done. All while I was standing in my attic looking at the hole in my roof. The first day of demo, they also broke a window. This was 3 weeks ago, there is still broken glass scattered across my yard, and I was told today that the replacement hasn't even been ordered yet. People wouldn't show up when they were supposed to, and the project manager would reply an hour after I'd call and tell me they had been there for hours when people were just

  I had a couple windows in my basement replaced. The windows came out great. Everyone was very nice, communication was excellent, and I was updated frequently. I am very pleased with the work and overall experience provided by Chattanooga Exteriors.

  We love our new deck! Chattanooga Exteriors exceeded our expectations when it came to both the build process and the finished product. We worked with James and Chris as our project manager and both of them were a pleasure to work with. Doing any sort of home construction is always going to be a bit inconvenient, but we felt that Chris did a great job keeping us updated about exactly was going to be happening and when, so we could plan around the construction activities and never felt surprised by what was happening. The management of the work crews was excellent and it felt like everything moved along smoothly and got done as quickly as it reasonably could get done. The build quality is also extremely solid and you can tell that a lot of care went into doing it right while it was being built. It is night and day compared to how it felt walking on our old deck. Our new deck is also incredible! Our toddler keeps asking to go out on the new deck and we are enjoying it a lot too. We leaned on James a lot in trying to figure out what sort of deck would work with both our needs/wants and budget and we couldnt be happier with how it turned out. The colors match our home very well, the boards feel great to walk on, and our screened in lower deck is quickly becoming one of our favorite family hang out zones. All the individual components that James helped us pick out came together nicely and it seems (at least to us) that you'd never know we made a few decisions purely around trying to make the deck work with our budget. Overall a 5/5 experience with Chattanooga Exteriors and we would gladly recommend them to anyone!

  We didn’t move forward with Chattanooga exteriors because we went another route with our siding. However, James was a great consultant for us and informed us in detail on the project to help us understand the full scope of work. I would use them in the future!

  We couldn’t be happier with our new screen system from Chattanooga Exteriors! The custom design is absolutely beautiful, especially the high-quality aluminum framework and the incredible attention to detail throughout the entire project. A huge shoutout to production team members Chris Kinzer and Josh Hobbs for their excellent work and professionalism.   Matt Hill came out and helped me with my deck project. He came when he said he would come and he was very professional while he was at my house. He asked all the important questions and took time to measure and consider what I needed for my house. He showed me all my options and was clear about when the company could start the project. He was very good to work with. I recommend Matt and Chattanooga Exteriors to anyone who is interested in a composite deck.

  We recently had Chattanooga Exteriors replace our barnwood siding with specialty Hardie Board siding, and we had an excellent experience from start to finish. We first met Chris Ford at the Chattanooga Home Show, and he took the time to walk us through the entire process step by step. From there, we were handed off to Tyler and the demolition and installation crews. Tyler was very responsive throughout the project and always addressed any questions or concerns we had. The crews did great work, and we are very pleased with the final result. One of the main reasons we chose Chattanooga Exteriors was because they are a local company that stands behind their work and their products. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality exterior work and a company that communicates well throughout the process.
