  Not satisfied with the work. Roof still leaking. He informed that shape of roof is such that it will leak when more rain. My view is that he should not had accepted the assignment unless sure that it can be repaired. Instead of doing needful he advised to replaced the entire portion of roof. This advice should have been given at the initial stage. Resulting had to call someone else to do needful. It was found that the lower portion of shingles was not properly fixed and left over shingles portion and screws were lying in the valley. Actually I feel disappointed with his work and commitment.However wish him well and happiness with the request to do work accurately. Thanks. Hello. i am still of the view that you have done my roofing as should be. The procedures of a dead valley roof should have been adopted rather than old traditional method you adopted. you were clearly informed that water is leaking in the area where two roofs are joining. i think it's should be covered under the warranty that you have given. kindly look into it and do needful under warranty and no payment. I just went with the reply of owner of certified roofing's. No doubt they may be professional but I am concerned with the work done on my house. Firstly, before taking the quote, I have shown them the valley ( joint) from where it is leaking and also showed from inside. He confirmed that the issue will be solved and gave him 2000$. for the work. If I agree with him that the roof was not properly designed and the problem cannot be resolved, then should have not accepted the job. However, when he opened the roof and according to him there was some leaking from top. which according to him has been repaired. He didn't touched nor repaired the actual problem. He being a professional doesn't know how to do dead valley end. He satisfied me that the work has been done and balanced payment was made. after few days during rain, the roof was leaking from same place and also from downpour. I called him an

  I am seeking legal action against this man for defaming my business and falsifying this review . As all our other reviews have indicated we are responsive and we do great work every now and then you run into a customer like this and there’s really no way to make them happy except for to do free work and redesign the construction of their home. It’s not very often that I have to deal with a customer with such ignorance about the work that was completed about the design of his own home and about the process of construction that he has no idea about. In the middle of January, this customer asked us to come to their home to take care of an ongoing issue where water has been coming into their kitchen edition for years. Upon going on the roof, we could clearly feel under our feet that the plywood was rotten and disintegrating so obviously as any other roofing company would do. We believed the work to be bad so we removed the shingles. We removed the plywood as we told them we would do we installed ice shield Synthetic paper and new shingles none of the work that we have done is leaking into the kitchen presently but what is leaking into their kitchen is as you can see from this customer’s photos whoever designed the addition did not take into the account the eavestrough system that was left stranded between two different roofs. I had mentioned to the customer that this may be an ongoing issue, especially if there’s a lot of rain because it’s filling up like a Valley when there was heavy downpour and leaking behind their Facia and then going into the kitchen. We only discovered this after we returned for a second visit once we had a very serious downpour and suggested to the customer that the work that we did is solid, but this roof needs to be redesigned. An approximate cost would be $5000. It needs to be turned into a flatroof with a low slope. customer brought in another Roofer told me my work was terrible and that their new guy was gonna fix everything lol well

  I paid over $900 to fix a leak last year. This company replaced the board and the shingles on 4x8 area. Replaced a vent but the leak happened at the vent because bad quality workmanship. A new company sent proof that less amount of material used around the vent. I reached to this company first but they did not even send a person to check even after multiple followup. Warranty is worthless for this company.

  All of our other reviews say otherwise. Our warranty on an older roof is six months. There’s no way that we can guarantee that the leak that you have now is not coming from another part of this poorly installed the roof. We did a good job with the Repair. It’s unfortunate that you have another leak, but it’s been a long time and we’ve had plenty of bad weather including the entire winter. This person also gave a restaurant a one star rating because he said his food was too salty just ridiculous.

  Unfortunatley i had to fire a subcontractor i was using because his WSIB and insurance expired. He has taken to make a bunch of separate google accounts to defame me. Certified roofing does not work with unlicensed contractors and take safty with the utmost importance when on customers property. You will see similar comments from :Matt Major, Christ Warriors Street Church, Righaway Building Maintenace and EcoMajor Services and RBM training. Legal action pending.

  Mark will not call customers back causing a large back log of complaints and leaks he refuses to deal with we have waited months for a return call

  Mark has yet to pay for the last delivery that we loaded for him and has dodged his warranty with almost every past customer leave me no option but to stop fixing his problems for free and looking after his customers on my own time mark has a big problem with purchasing materials that cannot be used with a proper warranty leaving the installers helpless

  Dealing with Mark from Certified Roofing has been a very frustrating experience. I had my roof done June 2020 and have been experiencing a leak in my upstairs bathroom, during heavy rainfall, since then. Phone calls go unanswered and messages are not returned. The only time I was able to speak with him directly was if I called from a different number. I have always been polite and professional during this frustrating time. He sent someone to 'fix' the problem 3 months after I reported the leak but I experienced a leak again during heavy rainfall in December. Again my call went unanswered and message not returned. I expect a company to take pride in their work and to follow through if there is an issue. Unexpected things happen and I understand that but do the right thing!

  Great experience working with this company! Mark is super helpful and responsive. Very good pricing and they went above and beyond. Even though there was a waitlist to get a full roof replacement they were still able to come do repairs to make sure everything was holding up in the meantime. Thanks for all your help!

  I highly recommend Certified Roofing & Exteriors! Mark and his team have completed several projects for me, and every experience has been excellent. Most recently, they replaced the shingles on the roof over my backyard deck, repaired the areas that needed attention, and fixed my gutters. Previously, they also repaired my leaky garage roof by removing an old skylight and installing a new roof in that area. Since then, I haven't had a single leak. Mark was quick to provide a fair and reasonable quote, and he took the time to explain everything that needed to be done in simple, easy-to-understand terms, which I really appreciated. His team completed the work professionally and cleaned up the entire area when they were finished. Thank you, Mark and team, for their professionalism, quality workmanship, and excellent customer service.

  Mark and his son replaced the skylight for my bathroom, the overall experience was really good, they explained to me what was wrong with my old sky light and also replaced the shingles around the new one. ---------------------------------------- I wanted to add some more information after 1 1 months of the skylight replacement. The storm damaged part of roof and I called Mark and he showed up the same day and provided a quote, and fixed the roof the day after. Really appreciate his prompt action.

  We had shingles come off from high winds. I called Certified and they answered right away. Easy to deal with, responsive and, ultimately, did a great job replacing the shingles that were lost. Highly recommend!

  Saved from another rouge roofer. MARK is a gem in the field. He was so amazing. His prices are not even what make him the best. Sent a nice employee to fix a mess we had been left with the last (claimed) roofer. We owe him still to this day. Knowing how many horrible roofers are out there he's a God sent. Made my kids feel safe again in their home. We can't thank him enough. Best by far.

  Early spring we experienced some tough weather. Sustained winds all day and throughout the night. We had some damage to a soffit but our original roofers had since retired. Certified Roofing was repairing a roof across from us so we spoke to the owner. He assured us he could get to the repair in a timely manner (lots of homes experienced damage) for a reasonable price. His guys showed up within a couple of days and fixed the damage. They were able to salvage the aluminum and you cannot tell there was any repair. Very professional and reasonable price given a very busy time for roofers. Would recommend this roofer for all your needs.

  We had numerous areas where shingles were missing and many more were basically flapping in the wind. Of the 4-5 companies that we called, Certified Roofing was the only Company that actually went up on the roof prior to quote. Knowing our concerns with this, Certified got the work done within a few weeks, even though they were booking a few months out. Wouldn’t hesitate to call Certified Roofing again. Thanks to Mark and his team.

  Mark and his team were thorough and professional to fix our leaky roof. They identified the issues and did what they said they were going to do. They cleaned up the job site very well. I would indeed recommend them for any job.

  Very happy with the work and professionalism of his team. My new roof looks great. Mark did a great job of explaining the job from start to finish, quality of shingles, replacing of edge vent, addition of ridge vent to eliminating the box vents giving the best ventilation and of course the warranty provided. Being an older home we wanted added security and had the whole roof redone with new plywood. Next up looking to have our eves updated. I’m very pleased with the work received and highly recommend Mark and his team.

  Great experience all around. I had a leaking roof after a storm and mark came out the next morning. His quote was very fair and he put a patch on the leak until they could get out to replace the whole roof. We had more rain and storms and it continued to leak in new places so they came back immediately to cover it with tarp and fit me in about a week later to get the roof replaced. His team is super friendly and answered all my questions. Completed the job quickly and I couldn't be happier! You won't regret hiring them.
