  Cenvar installed round gutters, and argued with me about materials used. Down spouts holes cut to large, 1/2 leak, came back and instead of proper straps, spray painted black paint on all 4 walls up and down trying to cover up repairs. …

  These guys tried to scam my parents $30k for 2 doors. Thank god that my parents are actually smart, I can only imagine how many other people these guys have duped

  Hi, we sorry to hear that your parents felt the price was not worth the value. We are unable to find the estimate you are referring to, but we do often design custom doors with our customers based on the specifications they desire, with the resulting price reflecting their individual choices. We have a variety of offerings that can vary greatly in price from fiberglass to steel, and even vinyl sliding doors. We would love to look into this more though, and try to resolve this issue if possible.   Called around trying to get an estimate on repairing my roof. The last company who put solar on messed up our roof. We are getting the solar removed and just needed an estimate to fix the roof repaired and they refuse to come give me an estimate. Not sure how this is good customer service. Just because we used somebody else for solar.

  We had a roof installed this past summer and the shingles have already started to fall off the roof. They stepped on my flowers and smashed them and cut our screen in the master bedroom. We have dormers on our house and they did not put shingles under the windows , they put metal and it looked terrible. They did come fix the dormers but the shingles look crooked. Many of the shingles look like they were not cut properly. The crew they used did not speak English and the yard was a mess we found nails in our yard after they completed the job. We have contacted them about the shingles falling off and as of today they have not been by the house even though they said they would. I am sorry we paid them in full and I would never recommend this company to any one!

  I called to get an estimate on having my roof replace, found out they do not service North Chesterfield Virginia, even though they have an office at 506 Research Road Richmond VA 23236. they only service city of Richmond is what I am told, I live about five miles from the city line off of Ironbridge road.

  We hired Cenvar to replace a 30 year old roof. Now we have a leak in our bedroom that has ruined the ceiling. We have contacted Cenvar about this issue, but no one will call us back. Would not recommend using this company. They talk a good game but do not do what they promised. They also said they would clean up before they left, but we are still finding debris and nails everwhere and we have a dog.

  I had a small leak in my roof and had a representative from Cenvar look at it. He recommended an entire roof replacement, despite the fact that the roof was only 15 years old. Notably, he did not go on to the roof or into the attic. I had another roofing contractor come out and they identified that the source of the problem was my chimney and that I had another 5-7 years likely on my roof. I do not recommend using Cenvar.

  Did not end up happy with our re-roofing experience. They are definitely the cheapest large roofing company in Charlottesville and seem to do good work generally (hence two stars instead of one). However, they overlooked several key areas of a new job that have ended up costing us thousands of dollars and many many hours of time. They did not clean up at all inside our attic after assuring us that we did not need to lay tarps over our things to protect them. The floor and contents of it are now completely covered in metal shards, wood shards, rusty and new nails and screws. They did not clean up well outside, even after coming back a second time to do so; we still have metal shards, large flakes of lead paint, and uncountable screws and nails in flower beds and kids' play areas. They also "accidentally overlooked" an aspect of the roof that required special attention in order to install new gutters -- which will now cost us an extra $5000. So, word to the wise: pay close attention to details, and make sure you get everything in writing. UPDATE: I'm looking forward to talking with their GM, though she/ he has not reached out to me and it's been 4 weeks.

  Everyone was competent and friendly. Kept up to date with progress. On time each day. Found minor problem on final exam and fixed the issue. Clean up around the house was very good. Work was to replace roofs before there was any issues. Just 20 years old.

  Cenvar Roofing was outstanding from the attic inspection with Troy to the cold February day of the roof replacement. They were in constant communication, answered all of my questions and concerns, and cleaned up beautifully. Highly recommend!

  I have had both a roof replacement and new window installation provided by Cenvar. In both instances the service provided was excellent! The salesmen were pleasant and not pushy; and installers were quick and efficient. They even cleaned up when they were done! Randy was especially helpful in answering my questions.
