Ankit, We were hired to complete a flat roof replacement on your property in Belmont. Throughout the course of the project, there were several challenges—many of which stemmed from constant complaints and disrespectful behavior toward my staff. Regardless, we remained committed to completing the job to your satisfaction. At one point, you alleged damage to your home which you claimed was caused by our team. Despite having no obligation to do so, I hired and paid for a licensed electrician to investigate the issue. His assessment concluded that the problem originated from interior remodeling work unrelated to our roofing installation. Even so, I covered the cost of repairs to avoid further conflict and keep the project moving forward. Later, when you expressed dissatisfaction with the roof installation, I took full responsibility and made the decision to replace the roof entirely at no additional cost to you—demonstrating my commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. After all the work was completed and inspected, you informed me that you would not be paying the remaining balance of over $10,000. At this point, I am left with no option but to begin the legal process of filing a lien against your property. It’s unfortunate that despite our efforts to go above and beyond, the situation has escalated to this point. As a contractor and business owner, I take pride in standing by my work and treating all clients with respect. I expect the same in return. While I regret taking on this project under these circumstances, I’ve done everything possible to resolve the matter professionally and in good faith. We have done hundreds of projects and YOU are the only person who hasn't paid their bill and then writes negative reviews about my company.

Roof coating can provide an additional layer of protection for certain roofing systems. The process typically involves cleaning and preparing the surface before applying the appropriate coating material. Compared with an untreated roof surface, a properly applied coating can help protect against weather exposure and extend the useful condition of the existing roof. Proper preparation is especially important for achieving good adhesion and consistent coverage. A well-completed coating project can improve the appearance and provide an additional maintenance solution for the roofing system.

We recently hired Nick & his California Roof Runner team to replace our roof and gutter. The results far exceeded our expectations. From start to finish, this team was professional, detail-oriented, and went above and beyond to delivering high quality workmanship. Every aspect of the project was handled with incredible care and precision. Communication with Nick was outstanding and fully transparent every step of the way through the entire process. The team was highly skilled and completed the job in 3 business days as promised. We’re extremely happy with the stunning transformation and would not hesitate to work with Nick again or recommend him to anyone considering any roofing projects. It’s rare to find contractors who deliver both extremely high quality craftsmanship and excellent customer service — these folks absolutely rock!

California Roof Runners did our roof and gutters, and they were fantastic from start to finish. I got three bids and all were generally in the same ballpark - but California Roof Runner's was the best value overall and ultimately it was their responsiveness and transparency that won our business. Nick patiently answered my emails asking questions about materials, process and warranties quickly and clearly. I'm a Realtor and work with a lot of contractors; this was genuinely one of the best experiences I've had. They installed Presidential shingles, added ridge vents for better attic airflow, replaced the gutters and downspouts, and added gutter guards. Our roof replacement was a bit trickier because of our solar panels, but they handled the removal and re-install and carefully placed the panels where they wouldn't get damaged in the interim. The crew showed up on time and Nick consistently kept me in the loop as I live in another state. When I came to see the end result and there was one small issue with the gutters and I raised it, Nick came to see it in person and make it right. They were super professional and super easy to work with. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat and I am telling all my friends and colleagues about them!
