  I used their service years ago on a home I owned in California. I have sold that home and moved out of state. This company still sends me advisement mail for years at every new address. I don't understand how they have gotten every out of state address I've moved to and why they're still spamming me.

CECS conducts very few mailings, and our records indicate we only have one address on file associated with the work we’ve done for you. This left us a bit puzzled about the multiple mailings you mentioned receiving. Nonetheless, as soon as we heard about your concerns, we immediately removed you from our mailing list. Additionally, we ordered an NCOA report to identify and remove any potential forwarding addresses to ensure this issue is fully resolved. Your privacy is extremely important to us, and we’ve updated our system to prevent any future mailings. If you have further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact our customer service team. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we sincerely appreciate your past business.

  Will only install the doors they sell you. Not a true door contractor in the sense of the word. More sales contractor for doors.

  This company just canceled a scheduled, confirmed appointment with no advance notice or explanation. Believe me, I fully realize that things come up but customers are expected to give advance notice of any changes and at a minimum professional courtesy means customers are entitled to an explanation--even if you make it up!

  Had all our windows replaced by CECS. Very easy to work with. Reasonable price compared to other quotes we received and they did the whole house in 2 days. Omar and Alonso were a pleasure to have in our house and did a fantastic job with installation! Would I recommend this company? You bet your sweet face I do. Tony was the project manager and even answered my call on a Saturday to answer some questions I had. Seriously the best house remodeling project I have ever had done.

  Omar and Alonso came and installed 2 windows and replaced the glass on another window. They were incredible and professional. The work looks great and they answered any questions I had. Great service from the initial bid to the installers. Very streamlined service.

  Ismar and Jose did a fantastic job on our windows, couldn't be happier with their professionalism and communication. They even helped replace a rotten sill and told me exactly what I needed to have ready for them to quickly and efficiently get the job done.

  I just had a very large window replaced by cecs. They did a great job. Ismar and Jose did a great job removing the old window and installing the new window. They paid attention to detail installing the new window and it looks amazing. The work site was spotless when they finished.

  We are really thrilled and relieved that we contracted with California Energy Consultant Service for the purchase & installation of our new windows. Everything about the installation, from start to finish, was excellent. We absolutely love our new Simonton retrofit windows and patio doors! This sounds corny, but we get up each morning now and start smiling when we look outside through the new windows. Gary Lee, the “Super” Sales Manager and his whole team are very knowledgeable, efficient and extremely easy to work with. We replaced 12 windows & 2 patio doors. They didn’t just take care of things efficiently, they made everything about our windows, doors and trim better! The wood siding & trim on our home is old, so we had some dry rot problems on the trim around the windows/doors. Gary and Tony, the CalEnergy engineer, designed replacement trim that is so much better than the original, all done with pre-primed wood. Ismar and the installation team of Jose, Oscar and John were professional and diligent in their work. In addition to the window work they also manufactured and meticulously applied new wood trim. They are a team of Craftsmen. Genevive is CalEnergy’s financial guru, who guided us through getting a Go Green low interest rate on the whole package. The team arrived early both mornings, ready to do their craft, and very efficiently cleaned up afterward. Many thanks to all!! Gary & Nancy C.

  I just had my roof replaced by California Energy Consultant Service, and it was an A+ experience from start to finish! This company truly does everything right. Gary was our initial contact and handled the quote. His expertise was immediately obvious; he walked us through every detail of the project and offered great suggestions to help us get the most value out of the job. Everything he discussed lined up perfectly with my own research and actually exceeded local building codes. Once we signed on, Jamie took over as our behind-the-scenes coordinator, and she was amazing. She kept us informed well in advance of every phase, including coordinating the necessary inspections. Whenever I had a question, she answered it quickly and with a super friendly attitude. The crew, Oscar and John, were awesome as well. They kept me updated on their daily progress and always let me know what time to expect them the next day. Their workmanship was meticulous, and the finished roof looks fantastic. We actually used CECS about 10 years ago to replace all of our windows and doors, and they were outstanding back then, too. It is great to see a company maintain such high standards over a decade. They have my absolute highest recommendation!

  Rodger and Steven did an excellent job replacing my torn screens on patio door and windows. They went above and beyond by repairing my patio door lock after replacing the screen. I did not even expect that! They were very professional!
