  Received a quote for $5,000 and I wanted to known how much each recommended repair would cost but was told that they couldn’t itemize it because their “system doesn’t allow it”. If you receive a quote I would make sure you know how much they are charging you for labor and material because my quote seems very high for not much material.

  Hi Tony, We are not a one-person operation, so there is more involved in our pricing than simply “labor and materials.” As a full-service, reputable contractor, we maintain a shop and showroom, employ highly skilled and factory-certified roofers, provide ongoing safety training, and carry proper licensing, workers’ compensation, and vehicle and liability insurance to protect our clients. Our estimating system is comprehensive and based on the full scope of work. Once the project details are entered, it generates a price that includes labor, materials, overhead, and the resources required to complete the job correctly and safely. Given the extent of your project—including over 60 broken tiles and additional repairs—this approach ensures accuracy and accountability on our end, minimizes the need for change orders later, and gives you a price to complete the project in full - rather than leave you wondering what your final bill will come to at the completion of the project. If you are specifically looking for a time-and-materials estimate, a handyman service may be a better fit for your needs.   was friendly enough, but once they said they wouldn't be able to service us we asked for any ideas or referrals of roofers who would. She told me that even though they wouldn't be able to do the work they also wouldn't refer another "competitor" to us. Which is dumb because if you can't do a job then they aren't competition. Anyways, 1 star for being dismissive and unhelpful when they could have been. Cheers.

  Andrew, there are many fallacies in your review, including that we “abandoned” your project for any amount of time. We could never have predicted the random and short lived rain storm that happened in the middle of summer. Your project was done in summer, so we are not sure why you’ve indicated we removed your roof in middle of rainy season. We do not work in Tahoe at all in winter. We are still very cognizant of weather and the rain was not forecasted and even while raining, did not show up on the radar. Despite this, we still came out at night, with headlamps to make your roof water tight. We also tested attic with moisture meter, verified proper underlayment installation, and made you whole for every one of what you indicated was a misstep. The delays were at your request so you could “think” about what you wanted to do. To your own admission, the roof installed is good and has no issues. What we could not do, was meet your unrealistic and unreasonable demands of discounting the project by almost half because you believe that your inconveniences are worth thousands of dollars more than what we did give you in good faith. Despite that your roof is installed with a lifetime warranty and there are no damages as a result of the freak and short lived rainstorm in the middle of summer we never want a customer to feel like their project went poorly so for this we do apologize, but do not agree with leaving false information online about a company.

  My husband and I had someone come out about 3 weeks ago to take a look at our roof. We were told once he was sent the plans that they would have a bid for us in a few days. My husband sent our plans over the following day, and never heard a thing back. He called the person who came out several times and the main office and still nothing. I get it; if you're busy, but at LEAST call with an update to tell us there is a delay. Instead we were just ghosted and have now given up with this company.

We've left you a message and an email, but will respond here as well - we'd love to provide an estimate for you, we just need the correct plans to do it :-). We are sorry for the confusion!

  Chris, the sale rep was great, the work was good, but very disappointing with $700 electric bill that they left for me, on a vacation home, after I gave them the key to enter to install the skylight. Not cool at all…

  Hi Loi, per our conversation, your PG&E bill peaked two weeks before we entered your property for the less than an hour we had to be inside. You have indicated that you are upset we did not inform you that it was warm inside, but our roofers have no frame of reference for what you'd consider warm, nor were they asked to verify. To your own admission, we did not alter or adjust anything that would have increased the PG&E bill but you still wanted us to pay for it and are leaving a negative review because we did not. While we do sympathize that your PG&E bill was high for you, we are not sure how the connection could be made to our company simply because we did not know to inform you that it was warm inside. Regardless, we do appreciate your business and are happy that the work you contracted us to do and your experience with our company was positive besides the PG&E bill.

  I had two home roof inspections from this company, I can't believe how outrageously over inflated their prices were. I got the job done for half of what this company was going to charge me, consumer beware shop around for estimates.

  I recently had my roof replaced by American Eagle Roofing. I was dreading the process and feeling stressed and overwhelmed, but after talking with Sean and a few of the office ladies: Rebecca and Megan, I felt confident that my roof was in good hands. Sean is amazining. He put all of my fears to rest. He was professional, courteous, and kind. I had a million questions for him before and during the process, and he patiently answered each one. I found him to be trustworthy and dependable. He went the extra mile to ensure that my roof replacement was as stress free, for me, as possible. Rebecca is great! She was available 7 days a week to answer any questions or concerns I had. She was always positive and encouraging. She was a BIG help in making my roof replacement experience a positive one. Megan was also great. She was so professional, kind and helpful. Steven and Franciso did a wonderful job. They removed the old shingles and prepped roof for the new shingles. Steven was positive and he patiently answered my many questions with a smile. Jesse and his team were the last ones to come over. They layed the new shingles. The team worked well together. They were efficient. Super stress free for me. They did an amazing job. My roof looks great! American Eagle Roofing was a pleasure to work with. They know their stuff. I would HIGHLY recommend this company. Everyone I had contact with was a pleasure to work with. Thank you, Sean, and your whole team for making my experience a positive one. My roof looks GREAT!

  I cannot recommend American Eagle Roofing enough! We were dreading getting our roof replaced, but Megan Wilson and Rebecca Fisher made the process stress-free.   I had a broken roof tile. Steve went over and above what I expected would happen. He replaced the tile for free (I had extra roof tiles) and also cleared my down spout drain. He checked my entire roof for other cracked tiles and explained to me the correct way to walk on the roof tiles. I will be keeping his business card in my file of preferred contractors and will recommend the company to my family and neighbors.
