  Beware of this company. BulletROOF replaced our roof in August 2021 here in Apex NC and now we have a leak. Left 2 voicemail messages (12/7/25 and 12/9/25) and no response or call back. The former project manager is no longer there (I still had his cell) and their website is down like they are out of business. Very disappointed as I had their 5 yr workmanship warranty guarantee! Called another local, highly respected, roofing company and they said the flashing was done poorly/incorrectly in the leak area where the roof meets the brick and there was no ice/water shield, now I am on the hook for ~$2K to fix plus the damage done inside still needs an estimate.

  I have called 4 times to have someone come check out and issue. I cannot get anyone to return my call. I guess after the job is finished, you are on your own.

  BulletRoof replaced my roof in July 2019. I have had 2 leaks underneath 2 dormers since the replacement. Turns out that when the roof was replaced, the flashings were not replaced. I have documentation that the flashings were to be replaced with the rest of the roof. My calls and texts to the owner, Eric, are going unanswered. I still hold out hope that I will hear back so that BulletRoof and they will rectify the situation.

  Use BulletRoof with caution as they do not seem to want to stand behind their work. I had them redo my roof in the Raleigh area in 2020 since then I have incurred this defect shown in the picture where a portion of the roofing material seems to have come off. This is the second time in a different location and they are refusing to fix it. Obviously this is some sort of installation defect and they are refusing to stand behind their workmanship. Beware.

  This company came through our neighborhood redoing many roofs pitching the “ Hail damage theory” which forced it to an insurance issue. We were told by them they had a LifeTime Warranty which is NOT TRUE!!!! Our roof and the neighbors is leaking due to poor workmanship, and they now claim no Warranty!!!!! Today we are spending $3,500 to have a reputable company repair it!!! RUN FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!! Don’t be a victim!!!!

  REVISED 2024: While they may be friendly at first, the quality of the work and the way they stand behind it is poor, especially since they lie about their warranty. BulletROOF did our roof in 2020 because of a leak. The salesperson who helped us was friendly and explained the process well and the crew who did the work was efficient. Then the issues came: I pointed out a section on the front that didn’t lay flat and was told “it will settle”. 18 months later we had water coming in through the ceiling again and when I contacted the company they said “maybe it's not the roof” until I forced them to come look. It was the roof. They fixed the problem again and then fixed the damage inside. Recently, less than 4 years into the roof, I see a broken shingle in my gutter. I contact the company who proclaim on their site “At BulletROOF®,we are proud to offer a lifetime warranty on our products and our workmanship.”. I am told it’s a 2 year warranty so I will have to pay $500. I was explicitly told by them from the beginning “if you ever have any issues, just give us a call and we will come fix them. We stand by our work”. Even the product has a 15 year warranty. But when I have an issue 4 years later then magically the lifetime warranty doesn’t exist and they give me a nuisance quote price. If you want to sell your house in the next year then BulletROOF would be fine because they get the work done. But if you want to get you money’s worth for the roof, I suggest looking elsewhere. PREVIOUS REVIEW (when roof was new): We recently had a roof leak and after extensive research I reached out several companies including Bulletroof. Bulletroof was the most professional and most responsive out of anyone. Mikel was quick to get me answers and work with me to understand the process and answer my numerous questions. With all the rain and emerging worldwide crisis they worked with me to make sure I was handled quickly since I had a leak. I expected to have issues from previous contracto

  Let me tell you about this company supposedly they said my area was approved for hale damage.. so guys saw us walk in our home saw we were another nationality.. they gave everyone around us a free inspection not us mmm the racism still exit. They saw myself husband didn't bother . But I wanted the reviews to know . This company not efficient of they do that .

  BulletRoof installed the roof for my house in 2017. The job was fine. Now I am trying to set up an appointment with them to look at some minor problems, it has been about 10 days but no responses yet, not a very good sign. Some follow-up comments: 1. Yes, BulletROOF did contact me after I had posted the above message. However, I was asked me to pay a $250 service call fee before they could send a roofer to do the inspection, though the fee was refundable if they got the repair job. They did send me a quote simply based on the roof photo that I had sent to them (It was taken by another roofer). 2. So, I contacted two other local roofers, both came and physically inspected the roof problem for free. Both roofers told me that the last section of the flashing between the wall and the roof had not been properly installed, instead, somebody had haphazardly caulked the area (see the attached photo). Since no one has touched that section of the roof since it was installed by BulletROOF in 2017, I could only guess that the problem was the result of bad craftmanship on part of the BulletROOF. When I emailed BulletROOF about the issue, they chose not to directly respond to my concern. 3. When I signed the contract to install the roof in 2017, I was also misled by my project manager from BulletROOF (I think that he is no longer working with the company) to believe that I had a10-year labor warranty but in fact I had only 2-year warranty. I have our email correspondence as proofs. To the credit of BulletROOF, they did come and fix a minor issue in 2021 for free but refused to honor the 10-year warranty as promised by the project manager in the email.

  Highly Recommend Bulletproof! Carter went above and beyond to ensure my insurance company received the accurate information requested in order to make a decision on replacing my roof. It took a few times going back and forth with my insurance but he saw it through and finally got everything approved. The crew came out on time and did a great job replacing to roof and cleaning up the debris and nails before they left. Again I am very pleased and definitely recommend Carter with bulletproof.

  Thank you to BulletRoof project consultant Jared Dudley who handled my roofing project and worked diligently with the Insurance Company since he has a strong knowledge of Insurance claims and handled the entire process by submitting all necessary documents and photos. He made the project easy from the start to the end. Jared answered all my questions and has a great personality. He brought me roof samples to pick from and explained the process.. Jared was on site to see the completion of the roof. I love my roof. A great thank you and appreciation to Jared Dudley, well done. A thank you to Tony the roof project manager and his team. They did a fantastic roof job, looks great and cleaned up nicely.

  We just had our roof replaced with Bullet. The final look is beautiful! Josh Dolina did a great job with communication around the build, was incredibly helpful in dealing with the insurance company and in every aspect of the project. I highly recommend Josh and BulletROOF if you’re ever in need.

  We had a small issue we couldn’t figure out with our roof. Bullet Roof had replaced our roof 4 years ago. I reached out to their number on their website and Eric reached back out while on PTO to let me know he would be by upon his return. Well, he did, spotted some issues that he thought may be the problem and now we’re just waiting for a heavy rain to see if it’s fixed. Thank you Eric for amazing customer service!

  BulletRoof did an excellent job on our roof! The entire process was clearly explained, and the team stayed on schedule from start to finish. The final results look fantastic. We’ve seen other roofs they've done in our neighborhood, and their craftsmanship consistently stands out. Ryan and Josh were professional, friendly, and a pleasure to work with.   What an amazing team of professionals. I am so pleased with the job that they did and the amount of care they took in covering my plants and front and back porch. They had both of my new roofs installed in one day with beautiful architectural shingles and then did an amazing job with sweeping the whole yard to make sure that not one nail was left behind. I would Definitely recommend them to anyone needing a new roof.
