I’m writing this review because I want others to be extremely cautious when dealing with this company, particularly if you are relying on their report for an insurance claim. Luke and his team came to inspect and repair my chimney after I had water coming into my basement. Luke inspected the roof, showed me photos of the chimney, explained that there were significant issues, and told me very confidently that the chimney was leaking and that this was something my insurance would cover. He said he would provide me with a detailed report once the work was completed so I could submit it to my insurance company. At the same time, I had some work that needed to be done on my retaining wall. Luke offered to have his workers take care of that as well, explaining that because they were already there, he could give me a better price. Given how confident and reassuring he was about the insurance claim and the report he was going to provide, I agreed. Luke was attentive, professional and kind throughout the process — but only until he was paid. Once I paid for both the chimney repair and the retaining wall work, the communication completely stopped. I have repeatedly asked for the report that I was promised. When he does respond to my texts, he tells me things like, “You’ll have it in a couple of hours,” or “You’ll have it tonight,” but the report never arrives. When I call, he does not answer. At this point, I have paid in full and still do not have the documentation I was specifically told I would receive to support my insurance claim. The work itself may have been completed, but unfortunately, the way this situation has been handled has left me feeling extremely uncomfortable and questioning whether I was taken advantage of. My advice to anyone considering using this company: If your repair is connected to an insurance claim, do not pay in full until you have received the report and documentation you were promised. Get everything in writing and make sure you have what

We had water coming into our basement after the last storm, and it turned out that our chimney was leaking. I contacted this company, and they immediately booked a time to come out and assess the chimney. Just two days later, they were back and completing the repair, with the entire job finished within a few hours. I was really impressed with how quick and efficient the service was, as well as the quality of communication throughout the process. The work was done professionally, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing chimney or roofing repairs!

Unfortunately, my experience with Best Roofers was not as good as I expected. Luke was friendly at first, but I was quite disappointed with the overall service. The work took longer than expected, and I also had concerns about the quality and completion of the job. The team did not meet all of my expectations, and I felt that I was charged too much for the work that was actually completed. I had to follow up several times about unfinished work and other issues, whereas I expected everything to be handled properly from the beginning. For the amount I paid, I expected better service and professional workmanship. Overall, I was not satisfied with my experience. I would recommend getting a detailed written estimate and clear scope of work before starting, and making sure everything is completed before making the final payment.
