You were given the expectation that someone would follow up and keep you updated, and unfortunately that did not happen the way it should have. While weather conditions can sometimes delay or prevent roof inspections and repairs, we understand your frustration was less about the delay itself and more about the lack of timely communication surrounding it. After explaining your travel plans and willingness to work with the weather situation, you deserved a much more proactive response from our team. We take accountability for the missed follow-up and delayed communication, and we are addressing this internally with our staff to improve how appointment updates are handled moving forward. We appreciate you initially considering us for your repair needs, and we sincerely apologize that we did not provide the experience you should have received.

  Robert is an incompetent business owner. His workers aren't skilled, just off the street hire. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company.

  Robert Bergens is not associated with Bergens Roofing in any way shape or form. He is the uncle of the owner of Bergens Roofing, Drake Bergens, and is a direct competitor.   Let me start with we have a steep roof, and this is why we called out experts for quotes to repair our roof. I went on this company’s website and noticed that they repaired steeper rooftop than mine, so I knew it wouldn’t be a problem for this company. I must say I was very disappointed with the treatment that I received from this company. From the moment the young man laid eyes on me I was treated disrespectfully. He told me the men in his company aren’t mountain sheep. I knew they weren’t mountain sheep but it appears they must not have been roofers either!! I don’t think the roof that was the problem. I believe it was the skin that I was in. What a shame!!! I politely told him thank you and sent him on his way. I called out Storm Guard Roofing, and the loose shingles were replaced the next day. I wouldn’t recommend this company if they were the last roofing company in business!!!!!!

  Someone came out a week ago to look at the leak I have in my roof. As of today, no one has called me to let me know what needs to be done nor the cost.

  Awful experience. After many painstaking negotiations. Finally signed a contract. Then without permission or communication, the sales representative lead a group of workers through a closed gate into my backyard, then left them to go find a bathroom.again all unbenoenst to me. I was sick. My husband was not home. Our intire back of our house is Windows. So as I went to my kitchen to get medicine, I see a group of strangers walking around my yard. It was terrifying. To say the least I was not happy. I had my shoes on to run across the street to my neighbor. Then the rep showed back up to inform me he had sent a text informing me they were coming. Again, no permission. I was not happy cordial or pleased. I was scared. I then asked if in the future we could have confirmation when they would be coming before the job started and officially become a construction job. And in addition, maybe an introduction to the people before they went through a closed gate to just appear in my yard. 45 minutes later , we were informed that the workers felt uncomfortable so the company was cancelling our signed contract. There are boundaries and respect of ones home. This company has none. Be very aware of this. We are looking into legal action as they have coast us 3 months of time and effort. Be very Leary of this company. Their signed contracts mean nothing!! And breaking and entering seem to be a norm for them. I will also be sending this to the BBB AND ANY ALL SOCIAL MEDIA.

  This review is so full of falsehoods I really don't know where to start. If we were guilty of unlawful trespassing why have I yet to receive anything from an attorney or law enforcement in regards to this grievous act over a month later? I, Drake Bergens, am the manager at Bergens Roofing and I personally made the decision to decline to perform the work initially agreed upon due to my realization that we would not be able to meet your expectations and I stand by that decision. We never collected 1 dollar from you and did you no harm. Do whatever you need to do Ms. Jones but Bergens Roofing will continue to thrive in spite of whatever baseless threats you make because we are a team of honest and capable people that do our very best to meet our customers high expectations every single day.   I called this morning and explained to the receptionist that I was part of the fortified roof program and I explained to her that I had a bad install that I had already contacted the fortified roof program and they told me to get some additional bids the receptionist continued to ask me the same question over and over, and I finally told her that I had explained it to her three times. She began to yell and scream, and was very condescending and had an extremely smart mouth on her. My last sentence to her was tell your boss that he just lost a $15,000 roof installation

  Mrs Barnett this is Drake Bergens. The call was recorded and I just listened to it myself. Lyndsay definitely did not yell, scream, or say anything inappropriate. She was asking you relevant questions to discern the full scope of the situation and you were not giving clear answers. Due to the way you spoke to our staff we will not be the contractor to assist you with your issues but seeing that your account of what happened is absolutely not in line with the facts of what was said you need to remove the review immediately or we will seek legal actions for defamation as we take our Google rating extremely seriously.

  These Guys are Pros at the work they do! Mr. Jesse came out to perform roof repair and did so in an efficient and timely manner! They have also done work for few other relatives of mine, nothing but great things to say about Bergens and how they strive to satisfy the customer! Highly Recommend using Bergens Roofing!

  If I start this review, it will take 5000 characters to finish! Drake, Blaine, Lexi, the whole work crew: ELITE. Pricing was straight forward and clear. No hidden ANYTHING. They coordinated with a licensed electrician and their crew to remove, clean and reinstall 29 solar panels, work areas pristine, careful with our property and our neighbor's.

  During the heavy rains in late July, water began leaking from my ceiling in the master suite closet. I called Bergens Roofing, the next day and left a message. Bergens contacted me soon after about having Jesse, the owner, come out to locate the leak. I was pleasantly surprised to be contacted so soon knowing there were a lot of damaged roofs in Eden Isles. Jesse came out on the day as promised and gave me very reasonable price for the repair. The repair work was scheduled in a timely fashion. Lou came to make the repair, and he found a additional problem that was addressed. The cost for this extra was also very reasonable. The repair work was done in a professional manner. Jesse is very knowledgeable about roofing and roof repairs. Both Jesse and Lou were professional and personable. They will be on the top of my list for a future new roof.
