Claim to fix minor roof leaks, can't! Will start to leak again in a month. Avoid!

Had a very bad experience. Spent close to a thousand dollars and the Leak from my roof they were supposed to fix came back two months later because of poor quality job performed by this company. I should have known when he took ten minutes to “fix” the issue. I had a true professional come out and notice all this guy had done was slap some tar like substance to cover up the area where water was coming in. Avoid this company at all costs. I’m filing a complaint with the BBB and consulting an attorney. Will be reviewing my security system to see exactly what he did. Horrible company. Very disappointed in Phillip John scamming me.

Sophia, We are sorry you feel you got scammed. We always offer every customer options on the repair they will like to go for, usually being replacing or sealing the area when we feel like the area can be sealed. When a client chooses to seal a leak we use roof caulking either silicone or polyurethane based. We only use roofing cement to seal dowm shingles since shingles have a tar strip from factory. We wish you had called us so we can make it right. When a roof leaks when a client chooses to seal instead of replacing the section/ when we feel that sealing can get it done; we go back out and see what other options are there for repairs. We do stand by our warranties and truly wish you reached out to us when it leaked after our repairs. We cant seem to find your invoice, Can you email us a copy of your invoice and your contact info at bdroofingandcontracting@gmail.com

Please DO NOT use this untrustworthy, poor repairing company. They repaired my roof, and less than six (6) months, the same leak occurred. Upon calling them to come back out, they came and said I have to pay an additional $200, because they saw I had Solar up there and said someone walked up there. I explained that they did not walk in that area. I even advertised their sign in my yard, to be treated like this is very painful. THIS IS A SCAM!

Ms. Washington, we’re sorry you feel this way. We can no longer warranty a roof that you had solar panels installed onto. Its just the same as getting a new roof by one company and calling us to repair their problem, They will no longer warranty their roof and tell you that BD Roofing is now liable for any further damages. I also would have appreciated if you called me (Phillip, Owner) to get a second opinion from Boris who we had out there. We are a small family owned company and we try our hardest to make every single customer satisfied.

We had a long time problem with a leak in one of our rooms due to a balcony issue. I had them on the hook for a few months and they very patienly waited for me to be ready for the repair. These are very competitivly priced and are willing to work with you to get the job done right.

Solar panels require a solid, leak-free roof for decades, so the reputation of a solar company can be negatively impacted by a poor quality roof. As a result, the opinion of our solar installer carried a lot of weight with us. And our solar installer recommended BD Roofing after having thoroughly vetted 45 roofing companies in the Houston area. BD Roofing is an experienced, certified installer of high end GAF roofing products. As a result, BD Roofing provides superior quality at a competitive price without resorting to the options and markups game that you might encounter from other companies. Phillip provided great service and support throughout the process and kept us fully informed. He also personally followed up after the installation was complete to ensure that we were fully satisfied with the results. Our experience with BD Roofing was excellent!

Where do I start... this is my 2nd time doing business with BD Roofing. Last time was in 2022 service was great! Then so when I needed roof service again it was a no brainer for me to reach out. The team is knowledgeable and have no problem explaining the issues and going over the cost. I was in a true bind with being in the middle of the sale of my house and it getting hit by hurricane Beryl. They was out there the next day patching up the roof no question asked. BD Roofing was a true breath of fresh air. I had to worked with different contractors while preparing my home for sell and they are not all pleasant and responsive. The process was so smooth and easy with them I truly appreciated their professionalism. I couldn't thank them enough for being pleasant and easy to work with.

Boris did an excellent job on my roof. He was polite and honest. He went the extra mile to repair some siding that had water damage in addition to the roof. His crew was large, and they finished the job in just one day. I would recommend BD Roofing to friends.

Very pleased with this company! Over a year ago I had hired a general contractor with a different company to fix my roof due to storm damage. After countless delays and poor excuses, the company did not work out and the job was unfinished. I called BD Roofing and without hesitation, they picked up where the other company left off and within 2 weeks, I had the necessary structural repairs, a new roof and new gutters on my home. NO delays!! They were professional, knowledgeable and efficient. Thank you Brandon, Devin and Dave!!

Hi Sandra! Appreciate you leaving a review, but unfortunately I think you left it for the wrong company. We’re BD Roofing & Contracting based out of Pasadena, TX. We dont have a Brandon, Devin or Dave on our team. I think the company you’re looking for is BD Roofing & Construction, LLC based out of north Texas/Ohio. Just want the hard and well earned review to make it to the correct company. Happy new year!

Can’t say enough good things about this company. Alex came and checked out roof gave me a price and even gave me advice and walked me through entire process. He continually followed up while my check was being mailed by my insurance and got everything done in a timely manner once the check arrived. My new roof looks amazing and gives me peace of mind for the future. Great work, great company, great service 10/10.

This company fixed my neighbors roof, so I decided to give them a shot. Super honest guys, kept us informed throughout the whole process. Very nice people with great customer service and super professional. We tried to schedule the repair for it to not rain, but unfortunately that was not the case. BUT, when it did start raining, they assured us that if anything was damaged they would repair that too. I HIGHLY recommend.
