  Unfortunately, this company failed to respond after 10 days to a request for a roofing inspection made through their website's "Schedule a Free Estimate" link. Estimate was/is needed for a leaking roof, and had I known ten days of my time would be wasted while waiting for a simple response, I would have taken the opportunity to find other, more responsive businesses. Sure, you're busy...we're all busy...but too busy to make contact with a potential customer? Fair enough. Hopefully you are always in a position to turn away business. Best of luck to you. To the "owner" responding to my review: First, I made a mistake in my original review; I thought I had used your online form to request an estimate when in fact I HAD called your company to request such a service. The call was made on August 30th at precisely 11:16am. The length of the call was 36 seconds, which if I remember correctly was because I was forced to leave my name and number. The call record is in my phone...it wasn't imagined. In any case, you most certainly DID receive something from me. I'm sorry you felt the need to point towards me as blame for this unfortunate circumstance, but the simple fact remains: I contacted your business, during a workday and during operating hours, and nobody bothered to call/email/text/smoke signal back to me. So...while you may have been in business for 41 years, you have also ignored at least this one potential customer. As an aside, do you really expect someone who receives no contact via your online form to also take up your operational slack and make a follow up call? Seriously? How about just improving your customer-facing processes?

  We have not been in business for 41 years by ignoring potential customers. We have a very streamlined process of how we intake emails from submittals and phone calls to make sure all of our potential customers are called back the same day or within 24-48 hours during an "Extremely" busy season, like after a hurricane, where we've had thousands of people reach out to us. We do not have a person named Barry in our system, on a voicemail, on an email or contact form. It is unfortunate that you feel we wasted 10 days of your life, but we never received anything from you in the first place. It is sad that it is so easy to go online and post a negative review about a business, instead of taking 1 minute to make a phone call and say, "I sent a form in and never heard from anyone. Did you get my form? Maybe it never made it to your inbox? I was wanting to get a quote, please!" I would think someone would choose this as a better option. We take pride in serving our customers to the best of our ability. Our reviews show that, the longevity of our business shows that, and our numerous customer referrals show that.

  Ive made several inquiries both by telephone (July 11th...Voice-mail Msg) and online written inquiries (July 11, 12 & 15th). I have yet to receive a call back from this organization.

  Due to the hurricane, we have had an extremely large number of calls and emails. We are getting back to everyone as quickly as possible. We input your information in our system on Monday and an estimator called to schedule your appointment on Wednesday. If you need further assistance, please contact our office. Thank you.

  "Bay area" one would think they would serve windstorm areas with a name like that. But they do not..

The majority of all the areas we serve are windstorm areas: Alvin, Bacliff, Bayou Vista, Clear Lake, Deer Park, Dickinson, Friendswood, League City, La Marque, Manvel, Pasadena, Pearland, Santa Fe, San Leon, Seabrook, Texas City, Tiki Island.   After work was done, a representative of the company came by, ( I'm guessing he was the owner of Bay Area Roofers) to pick up the money for the work done. We wanted to ask him a few questions about our new roof, when he flat out told us he didn't have time to answer any of our questions. Their workers are very good at what they do, and we're happy with the work they did, just can't seem to understand the owners attitude that afternoon when he stopped by.

  I highly recommend Bay Area Roofers, they installed a new roof on our home several years ago. It was a great experience, today I called and spoke to Riley regarding options for a solar roof vent, he explained all options and answered all of my questions. Now I can make a educated decision!

  We suspected we had some hail damage after an overnight storm several months ago. Riley Tidwell with Bay Area Roofers gave us a free inspection and detailed quote, with several suggested upgrade options (all accepted). Thanks to a generous TWIA payout our new GAF roof was completed today. Excellent experience, beautiful job, attentive cleanup. I can highly recommend this company for roof replacement. Will be talking to them again about an exterior painting project.

  Carl came out and inspected my roof and came back with a good honest price. The crew was amazing and professional as well. They even removed my old chimney that was causing leaks the day before the roof was installed.

  These days, everyone is a roofer & there's no licensing requirements. "Roofers" are running around ripping the roofs off houses & slapping new ones on. Then, they're gone & you're left with what is most likely a questionable covering for your most valuable asset. Thank you Bay Area Roofers for being honest, efficient, quick, knowledgeable, & not ripping me off. This is the first time I've used yall & Caesar was great! I will be calling yall for all my future needs!

  The roof looks very nice, but I wanted to take a minute to thank the staff at Bay Area Roofing who went above and beyond the scope of work that was expected or to be completed. After the new roof was installed the next day we went to use our clothes dryer and noticed that the clothes remained wet and would not dry. I immediately assumed that it was something that they had done because the week before the dryer was working fine. After contacting the staff they sent a couple of guys out. They went into the attic and after a few minutes discovered that the nature of the exhaust problem was due to a restricted vent pipe. He pulled the pipes apart and cleaned them and then returned back down from the attic. We checked the dryer again for proper operation and all was fine. They did not have to do this but we are eternally grateful. Most companies only want to collect their check but these folks are some of the best in the industry. We will never forget your service provided that was "beyond expectations". I will tell everyone that may inquire about our experience. Keep up the great work!!
