The critical reviews

The one and two-star reviews, first. These are what a star average hides, and they are the reason this page exists.

We hold no one or two-star review text for Barney Roofing. That is not the same as there being none — it means our capture did not reach any. The rating breakdown above is Google’s own count and is the number to go on.

Several heavy storms finally exposed the weaknesses in the old roof. Water collected around the drains, leaks appeared near the mechanical equipment, and our maintenance team struggled to keep up. We hired Barney Roofing to replace the roof. They removed the aging system, replaced damaged materials, corrected drainage, and installed a new PVC membrane. They also rebuilt flashing around the rooftop units and replaced worn perimeter metal. The project covered a large section of the property, so the crew worked methodically across the roof. The finished system looks well detailed, and the improved drainage became obvious during the next storm.

The building had good bones, but the roof definitely did not. Water intrusion had started affecting several interior ceiling areas, and the previous roofing contractor had clearly cut corners. The Barney Roofing team inspected the structure …

After years of temporary repairs, it became obvious our warehouse needed more than another patch. We approved a new roof installation covering nearly the entire facility. The scope included removing the old roof, replacing the damaged substrate, and installing a reinforced PVC membrane. The project moved steadily from start to finish, and communication stayed clear throughout. The finished system looks well-built and has already held up through several storms without any issues !!

This was a large roof installation on a warehouse with serious wear below the existing system. The crew first replaced the compromised areas, then completed the installation with strong attention to detail. The new roof looks clean, consistent, and built for long-term performance.

Our office property needed a major reroofing due to recurring leaks and moisture issues over several years. Barney Roofing removed the old assembly, replaced the compromised sections underneath, and installed a stronger low-slope system. The work was efficient, organized, and clearly done with experience.

This was a full roof replacement on a large hip structure, roughly 9,200 square feet, for our flower shop. Evans coordinated everything, from material selection to scheduling city inspections. They replaced the old tile with a new synthetic version that’s lighter and more uniform. The roofers also rebuilt sections near the ridge to correct uneven framing before installing the new battens. It’s the kind of workmanship that lasts decades and improves both the structure and appearance at once.

We decided on a full roof replacement after noticing the old shingles curling and leaks starting near the valleys. They started by adding better underlayment and replacing several weak sections of decking near the overhang. The process was clear and simple. The new roof is an upgrade all around.

Barney Roofing took on the job, including framing, decking, and shingles. They color-matched everything and even aligned the overhangs to match the original structure. It looks amazing!

We noticed our roof was sagging in one spot, and the team from Barney Roofing confirmed it was wind damage from years ago. They replaced the damaged sections with heavy duty shingles and reinforced the structure..They even fixed a few loose tiles we didn't know about. The roof looks brand new, and we feel so much safer. Thank you!!

Alex and his crew did an amazing roof installation job. They were able to remove my roof and get it done quickly enough for us to move in. They left our property cleaner than they found it. Alex himself is a nice and professional guy.

Where this page comes from

Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 12 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 12, of which 12 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.

Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.

There is not much data on Barney Roofing. A short record here means our capture found little — not that there is nothing to find, and not that the business is new or inactive.
