Called them for a roof/siding leak in my garage. A tech came two different times and it still leaks. I called again and was told a production manager would call me later that day and never heard back.

This company had previously put a roof on my house ( I was not the owner at the time.) My roof is less than 9 years old and was currently leaking. The leak was from an error in how they installed a certain feature on my roof. I called for them to take a look. Took several days for anyone to call me and schedule a time to come out. After his "inspection," he informed me that I probably should get an entirely new roof and they would work with my Insurance Company to make sure it was covered. I only needed them to FIX a simple leak. The entire roof was in great condition. When he was inspecting my roof, he stated the leak was coming from a chimney, mind you on the opposite side of the house and edge of the roof, not where the leak was. Also bent up one of my shingles that had no issue whatsoever. Informed him I would not be claiming a small repair for an entirely new roof that was placed less than 9 years ago with my insurance. He said he would speak with his boss. Received one call after that he was still working on what he could do. Never received the quote for a repair that I asked for and never received a callback.

They state that they can be trusted, yet they did not respond to our requests to replace our siding after they removed a large piece for 6 weeks. They cut our siding to match it then LOST the piece. They then wanted to charge us to get another piece! Our house is still unfinished We are at their mercy due to them LOSING our property and then charging us to replace it. Poor ethics. Late and inconsiderate. I would NOT recommend

I tried to deal with the owner Donavin McQueen .They lost the piece that they cut off and I was told they would not replace it it was lost somewhere down in Florida. I told him I was going to post it on Better Business Bureau and he warned me and told me I better not do it.

I should have been weary about a company that comes door-to-door. After agreeing to have my roof replaced because I was told it was basically gone, I was quickly talked into signing their contract and writing them a $1000 check. Didn’t hear …

I cannot say enough great things about Avsten Construction and the experience I had with my roof replacement. From the very beginning, the entire process was handled professionally, efficiently, and with excellent communication. A special thank you to Jason Hignite, who was my initial contact with Avsten. Jason made a great first impression and was incredibly helpful from the start. He took the time to answer my questions, explain the process, and make sure I felt comfortable and informed about what to expect. I also want to recognize Doug Wilks, who became my go-to person for anything involving the insurance side of the process. Dealing with insurance can be frustrating and confusing, but Doug was always there to answer questions, help me understand what was happening, and guide me through the process. Having someone knowledgeable and dependable in my corner made a huge difference and took so much stress off my plate. The entire Avsten team did an amazing job on my new roof. They were professional, organized, respectful of my property, and the finished product looks fantastic. A roof replacement can feel overwhelming, especially when insurance is involved, but Avsten made the experience so much easier from start to finish. It is rare to find a company that combines great workmanship with truly great customer service, but Avsten Construction absolutely delivered on both. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing roofing or construction work. Thank you, Jason Hignite, Doug Wilks, and the entire Avsten Construction team for making this such a positive experience and for giving me a beautiful new roof! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I couldn’t be happier with Avsten Construction! They recently worked with my insurance company to replace my roof, and my only out-of-pocket expense was my deductible. I highly recommend them to anyone needing a new roof or even if you just have an older roof and want to know your options. They’ll come out, inspect your roof at no charge, and explain everything clearly so you can make an informed decision. If you’re looking for an honest, professional roofing contractor, give Sam and Ian at Avsten Construction a call. They made the entire process easy and took great care of me from start to finish. I highly recommend them!
