  I strongly advise against this company. A few of the reasons are below. Disclaimer... I am not listed as the customer but I had chosen Arvada Roofing and H.I. based on a recommendation from my realtor in conjunction with a new home purchase. 1. Mark, the representative of the company that worked on the project at my home, left his own 5 star review of the company he does work for. This may be deleted shortly after me calling attention to it. 2. Mark had let my realtor know that he would be replacing some damaged area of fascia, but no fascia was ever replaced 3. I had attempted to have a conversation with Mark about roof ventilation and a few other considerations regarding the roof and he cut the conversations short after he had the contract signed 4. Their name had made it confusing to contact them. When trying to get information from them after the roof install, I had called in to speak with some else other than Mark. In the process I ended up calling at least two other companies who identify as "Arvada Roofing." I believe the company I am reviewing is the newest one. 5. During a snow melt, albeit several months after the initial installation but within the 1 year warranty time frame, a steady stream of water was found pouring off the roof where a gutter should have been installed. This is what the gutter system was designed to prevent. The roof valley produces a steady stream of water during rain or snow melt. This issue was not addressed in advance with the homeowner at the time or the current homeowners (me). No consultation was given to either party regarding the option of this important item which, left uncorrected, could lead to foundation damage. Despite a 1 year written warranty being given for gutter system, Mark's reaction to my concern initially was “we didn’t do business with you” or "your name isn't on the contact."   There are a few false claims about your statements regarding your experience with our company, which is interesting considering you appear to work for a competitor. First, Mark is not the owner. Mark was in fact a customer of ours and had his roof replaced in 2017 after an insurance claim. We did not receive a down payment for the work. We took payment when the work was completed, passed inspection and the real estate transaction was completed. We performed the work per the insurance claim for the contracted party and installed the work according to the proper code and passed inspection. The insurance did not pay for adding new gutters and downspouts in new locations. Even though you were not our customer and we did not ever have a contract with you, we offered to install a gutter for you on the location you specify at cost, meaning we would not profit off the work to add a gutter and downspout for you. You rejected this offer and threatened to write a negative Google review if you did not get what you asked for. This prompted us to involve our attorney and have him write an agreement, which was very simple and reasonable, in order to do the work for you at no cost. You were not willing to sign the agreement we gave you for the work that you wanted done. The fascia replacement was not written on the contract for work to be done with the contracted party. It mentioned that an attempt to correct it would be made if we had time that day as a favor. Because the roof decking was not acceptable to pass inspection, we used our time to re-deck the entire roof. Despite it appearing that you work for one of our competitors, it did not occur to you to contact us about needing an additional gutter and downspout in a new location until months after the work had been completed. You passed up the opportunity to have the new gutter and downspout installed and instead have chosen to follow through on your threat to write a negative review. There is one correct statement you

  Ritchie Nelson and Team were unbelievable and exceeded my expectations. They were working on a neighbors roof and completed proactive maintenance on my roof from a recent new home inspection when I asked them if they had time to work on my roof (they made time for me without an appointment). They jumped in, gave me a quote and had the work done in several hours. Ritchie then jumped through hoops on other related tasks and exceeded my expectations. Good people with a good heart working in Arvada. I strongly recommend contacting Ritchie for quotes, repairs and replacement. He also checked our membrane roof under the deck and verified proper operation. I will be using Arvada Roofing for all my work in the future at all my rentals. Thanks Ritchie!

  This is the place, do not look anywhere else. After a hail storm, it was recommended that I get 3 estimates. Arvada Home Improvement was the first to answer back. They provided a quote and their team was amazing! They responded right away and could not believe the amazing customer service! The other quote was outrageous and one did not even respond.

  Matt and crew did an amazing job and the process went very smooth. He noticed my ridge shingles were missing while working on my neighbors house, got me a quote, and within a week it was fixed.
