I don't know much about their pricing, as my landlord is the one who decided to go with them. However, they have pushed out their time estimate with limited communication 3 times. It has been over a month, and workers will randomly stop showing up for over a week. When they do show up, it's at 9:30 in the morning to bang on everything. Your painting estimate and siding estimate will not be the same. This project was supposed to be done by July 10th originally. It is July 30th, and they will not be starting painting untill August 11th. My landlord states that he has had trouble getting in contact with them on multiple occasions. Maybe we just got a bad job, but dear lord was I shocked to find out about how many 5 star reviews there are on here.

We appreciate you sharing your perspective and we apologize for any inconveniences. Since you are the tenant rather than the owner, we understand how the process may have felt disruptive from your side. This was a full siding replacement on an oversized two-story duplex with multiple scopes of work, including rot repair and painting, which naturally extended the timeline beyond the original estimate. While we understand the frustration caused by delays, we worked directly with Matt, the property owner, to resolve the matter. Matt confirmed his satisfaction in a 5-star review after we made things right, and he also passed along a rent credit to you to help offset the inconvenience during the process. At Alpine, we always choose quality over speed, which sometimes means projects take longer — but it also means the work is done right the first time. We’ll continue working to set clear expectations and improve communication while keeping our focus on craftsmanship and lasting results. Sincerely, The Alpine Team

The crew of Alpine exteriors did a fine job of replacing the siding and painting my 1920s house! The crew was thoughtful and considerate of the property and cleaning up and answering questions that my wife and I may have had! I would recommend them to anybody who needed work done to their house

Alpine was great to work with throughout the entire build process. They were always on time, had good communications and ultimately delivered on quality. Their attention to detail was impressive, considering we have a log home with many curves and uneven angles. They were able to precisely install the James Hardie board and batten siding and exceeded our expectations on precision. I would recommend them for your next siding project.

Thank you so much for the amazing review and for trusting Alpine Exteriors with your major exterior remodel. Thank you for the fantastic review and for trusting Alpine Exteriors with your James Hardie siding replacement project! We’re glad you highlighted the full process — from removing the existing siding, to the detailed plywood sheathing inspection, to installing the Tyvek weather barrier house wrap for moisture protection and energy efficiency. Even when no plywood replacement is needed, a proper inspection and high-quality weather-resistant barrier installation are critical steps in any professional fiber cement siding installation. Our certified James Hardie installers take pride in delivering precise, code-compliant Hardie board siding installation, ensuring proper flashing, moisture control, and long-term durability. Tyvek house wrap installation helps protect against water intrusion, wind-driven rain, and air leaks — all essential for a long-lasting exterior siding system. Thank you for sharing your experience and for trusting Alpine Exteriors with your roof replacement and skylight leak repair. We’re sorry you had to deal with improper installation from a previous contractor. Unfortunately, incorrect skylight flashing, missing ice and water shield protection, and poorly installed underlayment are among the most common causes of roof leaks. When these critical waterproofing components aren’t properly installed around skylights and roof penetrations, water intrusion can quickly lead to interior damage. We’re glad Dods was able to respond quickly, perform a thorough inspection, identify the root cause of the issue, and provide a clear solution. Proper installation of step flashing, counter flashing, ice & water membrane, synthetic underlayment, drip edge, and asphalt shingles is essential to ensure a long-lasting, watertight roofing system. While replacing the entire roof wasn’t ideal, you now have a properly installed system built to manufacturer specifications and local building codes. With the right materials, ventilation, and waterproofing details in place, your new asphalt shingle roof is designed to provide long-term durability, protection, and peace of mind. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with Dods and Andre. At Alpine Exteriors, we’re committed to honest inspections, detailed planning, skilled craftsmanship, and clear communication on every project. Thank you again for choosing Alpine Exteriors. If you ever need assistance with roofing, siding, James Hardie products, windows, storm damage repairs, or exterior remodeling, we’re always here to help. — The Alpine Exteriors Team

Clear communication, professionalism, and responsiveness are extremely important to us—especially on larger projects that span several weeks. Installing James Hardie siding and trim along with new Milgard windows is a significant investment in your home, and proper installation makes all the difference. We had a good experience with this company. They responded quickly in providing an estimate for re-doing the roof and answering questions we had along the way. The work was completed in a timely manner and they went beyond my expectations with the extent of repairs they did on the roof in addition to just replacing the shingles. They replaced (as far as I could tell) more sheeting than they projected in the estimate along with replacing and painting a whole section of fascia that had been rotting. Price was fair, we are happy with the work. Highly recommend.

    Reply from the business

Von, Thank you for the great review and for trusting Alpine Exteriors with your roof replacement. We’re glad you had a positive experience from the estimate process all the way through completion. Providing a fast, detailed roofing estimate and taking the time to answer questions is something we believe every homeowner deserves before starting a roof replacement project. It’s especially meaningful that you noticed the additional repairs. During a full roof replacement, once old shingles are removed, we often uncover hidden damage such as deteriorated roof sheathing, soft decking, or rotted fascia boards. Replacing more plywood sheeting than originally projected and repairing and painting the rotted fascia ensures the new roofing system has a solid, long-lasting foundation. We never want to simply install new asphalt shingles over compromised materials. Our goal is to deliver a complete roofing system — not just a shingle replacement — including proper decking, flashing, ventilation, and exterior wood repairs where needed. Doing it right the first time protects your home from leaks, moisture intrusion, and future structural damage. We truly appreciate your comments about fair pricing, quality workmanship, and exceeding expectations. Thank you again for the recommendation and for choosing Alpine Exteriors for your roof replacement and exterior repairs. Alpine Team

Alpine roofing performed a valuable pre-inspection of the entire roof including the attic space to give me a detailed and accurate quote. Scheduling for the work was set within about two weeks of accepting the proposal. Work was performed in a very safe manner as well as keeping the job site clean at all times. The final inspection was done by the project manager as well as a follow-up by the initial inspector. I am very satisfied with Alpine’s work.

The quality of the work is excellent, and we appreciate their generous warranty on the work. The next time we need siding done, we would use Alpine again but we will need to be clear up front with the expectations on timing. We didn't realize how unpredictable the schedule is, and what we thought was a 2 week project turned into a 6 week project. This was frustrating, but in the end, they made it right, and we are happy.

Matt, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for trusting Alpine with your project. We’re very glad to hear that you’re happy with the finished work and the warranty, but we also recognize the frustration caused by the extended timeline. Projects like yours—especially with added scopes such as rot repair, plywood replacement, and painting—can sometimes extend beyond the original estimate. While our team always aims to be as accurate as possible up front, there are times when unforeseen conditions and multiple scopes create delays. Your feedback is important, and we’re actively working with our sales and operations teams to set clearer, more realistic expectations moving forward. We also appreciate the patience you showed throughout the process, and we were glad to be able to make things right in the end. It means a lot to us that you’re satisfied with the final result, and we look forward to serving you again in the future. Sincerely, The Alpine Team
