  I'm Robert the owner, pretty sad that in less than a 48-hour period from first contacting me I get one star, the text he mentions was 9/3/24 9:65pm this review was left 9/5/25 at 3:07pm. most clients tell me other contractors don't even respond, you could have simply reached out to me I did say I would text to confirm, when I didnt confirm we had no meeting especially since I told you I "might" be done by 11:00am so not sure why I got this review? my day didn't go as planned and was on a job till 8:00pm, I apologize we didn't meet your expectations, but I feel this was not deserved

  Had such a wonderful experience with Robert and the Allmax team! After a different company recently replaced our decking and shingles, we had moisture intrusion next to our second story dormer. I contacted Robert via a neighbor referral and he came for a consult same-day and walked me through realistic process / pricing for the necessary work to remedy the water issue, which was quoted at a lower price than the former roofer was offering for an issue they caused. The scope included water mitigation/correction, new cedar siding, paint and then we extended the work to also include fascia and porch painting. The results speak for themselves: beautiful craftsmanship, experts in roofing and friendly/respectful workers.

  Robert and his team did an excellent job replacing my roof, and I can't recommend them enough. My husband and I reached out to Robert after dealing with a leak caused by such poor work from our previous contractor. He responded almost right away, even though it was pretty late in the day. He came out to inspect the roof and gave us a very honest, detailed breakdown of the options we could consider -- no pressure, just clear information to help us make the right decision. Just about a week later, as soon as we got the permit, he sent his crew out to replace our roof. Throughout the entire project, Robert was very responsive and communicated clearly at every step. His quote was thorough and detailed so you know exactly what to expect, and his team was professional from start to finish. When the job was done, they cleaned up the site so well I'd barely know a roof replacement had just happened there. Given all the bad reputations roofing contractors can have --and having experienced a bad one myself before finding Robert-- I was skeptical and honestly had some trust issues about letting anyone work on our roof again. But the entire experience with Robert and his team was pleasant from beginning to end. Thank you so much for the great work. I'd highly recommend Robert and his team for any roof-related needs.

  I called Allmax after being told by another company that there was roof damage that needed immediate repair. Robert came out the next morning and inspected the roof. No damage. Robert saved me lots of money. Thank you Robert! This kind of honesty and integrity are rare. I will always call Allmax for my roofing needs.

  I contacted AllMax Roofing for urgent wind damage repair in Warrenville, IL. Owner Robert was incredibly responsive—on-site within hours, great communication with photos and texts, and a clear, detailed proposal the same day. We signed the contract and paid the deposit, looking forward to getting started. Unfortunately, the crew didn’t make it on Saturday or Sunday, with no advance notice, which was disappointing—especially with rain rolling in—so we had to cancel to keep things moving. That said, Robert handled everything with real integrity and kindness: immediate sincere apology and full deposit refunded right away. That level of professionalism and effort to make things right is truly rare and very much appreciated. While the timing didn’t work out (weather and scheduling can be tricky in this line of work), Robert and AllMax showed genuine care. Thank you, Robert, for the refund and the thoughtful resolution—it meant a lot and restored a lot of goodwill. Highly recommend if weather permits and schedules align—you’re working with an honest owner who truly values his customers.

  Ingrid, I sincerely apologize that your father-in-law was upset. I truly make every effort to ensure all of my customers are taken care of and satisfied. Due to recent weather conditions, our schedule was impacted. The job we were working on the day before ran longer than expected, and my crew needed to return the following morning to complete a few remaining items. As a result, we planned to arrive at your father-in-law’s property around 10:00 AM instead of the originally scheduled 8:00 AM. I understand how frustrating schedule changes can be, and I apologize for the inconvenience. The weather created some unexpected challenges, and unfortunately the timing did not go as planned. Thank you for your understanding, and I appreciate the opportunity to make this right.

  Robert was very responsive to my call and assisted in a repair to my roof vent. I had some water coming into the attic when it rained and he was able to assess the problem quickly and efficiently. I wasn’t sure if my job was too small for anyone to care, so his willingness to check it out was much appreciated.

  Had an issue with a skylight that will leak. I was thinking the two skylights would have to be replaced and redo that whole section of roof. Rob took a look and said they can be resealed at the roof and no tear out. Very happy with the honesty and work . Always gets back to you quickly and was on time for the repair.
