  I was shocked when they gave me a quotation and honestly burst into a laughter in front of the company representative - it was nearly three-times higher than the first quote I received (which was already much higher than it should be). Is there anything called “good faith” left in business anymore?

  Zakiul, we are sorry that you were unhappy with our price. Price comparisons are fair. Questioning a company’s integrity simply because its estimate is higher is not. You did not hire us, and therefore had no experience with our job scheduling, workmanship, reliability, warranty service, or how we respond when something goes wrong. This review is based entirely on the fact that our price exceeded another estimate—and exceeded what you personally believed the work should cost. To be candid, a one-star based solely on these reasons seems particularly harsh. Nonetheless, we understand the effect that expectations and disappointment can have. We do take issue, however, with the suggestion that our estimate reflects a lack of good faith. We are a highly ethical company, and a price being higher than someone expected is not an indication of dishonesty or bad-faith dealing. We price every project at the amount we believe is necessary to perform the work correctly, stand behind the finished product, and honor our warranties. Nonetheless, we wish you well with your project and thank you for considering our company.

  Where to start? First off, estimator didn't set foot on our roof, simply looked at it from the driveway and provided an estimate. Crew came out after I authorized $6500 cleaning of a wood shake roof on a 2-story 2600 sq ft house (so not a huge roof). Service was supposed to clean and treat roof, clean gutters, replace bad shake. Crew used backpack blower and brushes to 'clean' roof, then sprayed it the following day with their treatment. When I saw how much debris they left in between the shakes I called and asked them why they hadn't used an air compressor, at which point they offered to discount that service as an add-on (shake roofs are recommended to be cleaned with air and brush, something they seemed to know but didn't do, despite the bid stating that it would be 'air-blown'. The crew came out a second time after my complaint and blew the roof off again, this time with an air compressor. I've included a picture of both the debris left between shake after the first cleaning (so no way for the treatment to actually reach all the areas between shakes) as well as a photo of the amount of material that came off the roof during the second cleaning. The crew did clean up the ground well both times they worked on the roof. We asked the estimator to include replacement of one vent on the roof, then once the job was started they told us they 'Don't do that kind of work", even though they advertise themselves as a Roofing Company. The following week we had rain and one of our gutters overflowed, so I called again. All Surface sent someone out again, with an 8-foot ladder, when it wasn't raining, and he said he couldn't find any problems (overflow is a second-story gutter). I have had to call repeatedly to try to get this project finished (now 2 months). Received an invoice after the work was completed, then notified to wait for a corrected invoice which remarkably was the absolute max of the range presented in the bid ($5059-$6514).   Thank you for your comments even though they are not positive. As we discussed when you called the other day, we do take such things seriously and apologize for the crew playing music on their phones too loudly. They are instructed not to do so and that, along with your other concerns, were addressed with them and their foreman. We do indeed train our people regularly however, remote supervision is always difficult – even when management frequently performs spot inspections, you can’t monitor field teams continuously. We typically do not arrive any earlier than 7:30am and on occasion must work late to honor our commitments to our customers but we never violate the hours that local ordinances allow work to be conducted. Our apologies, he thought he had been able to rectify this with you in person and get it all cleaned up for you before they left but we understand that's not the case.   William, we are sorry that you feel this way. During our onsite review of your roof we found otherwise, but we understand that someone you believe was telling you differently. We still stand behind our warranty for issues specifically relating to the work we performed.

  This was the worst experience I have ever had as a home owner. This company ruined my soffit with their new roof application. I was told by everyone at the company including Tom the owner that they stand by this work and this is normal. He said there was nothing they could or would do for me.They kept saying I signed a waiver saying there could be nail perforation. This is more than nail perforation, my home has been vandalized and I have been insulted and belittled by every man I have had to talk to at this company. I asked if they could fix it if I paid them more money and was told to find someone to cut the nails and paint over it, that is unacceptable. I have since had two other roofers out that both said this is terrible unprofessional work and one even said I should get a lawyer. I don't have time for all that and just want to move on but I have to at least post a review to warn others. THERE ARE BETTER ROOFERS OUT THERE! I have posted three pictures of these soffits and they surround the entire length of my house so you can image how horrible they look. I am beyond bummed that my house will look like this all summer. Since the owner responded I am adding to my review. I ended the phone call nicely because that is the kind of person I am. I think their response just further proves my point, they will have you sign a waiver and then they will destroy your soffit and throw the waiver you signed in your face. THEY DO NOT WANT TO FIX THIS BECAUSE ITS TOO TIME CONSUMING AND THEY CAN"T MAKE ENOUGH MONEY ON IT. I AM HIRING ANOTHER ROOFER AND HAVING TO PAY THEM TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. IF YOU WANTED ME HAPPY YOU WOULD HAVE FOUND SOMEONE TO FIX WHAT YOU DESTROYED! UPDATE>>>>>ADDED some new information. I just had a new roofer on my roof and I went up there with him you should see the crappy job this company did! It was not only my soffits that got destroyed but they did not lay the shingles down properly in several spots so water was not running off my roof correctly.

  Top notch job by the All Surface Team. Our roof needed to be replaced. They came out and did a fair estimate. Very similar to another company. One of the positives of the quote was that it included skylight shades and we have 7 skylights. Those skylights are amazing and block out so much of the sun’s rays. Truly a great benefit. The workers were quiet and efficient. I would not have minded hearing music but they didn’t play any. Unlike other contractors. The work was terrific and when they left, there was practically no debris around the property. I may have found a random nail or two but overall everything was immaculate. The roof looks beautiful and goes very well with the masonry of the house. I highly recommend this company. Friendly workers, exceptional quality and a fair price. Thank you All Surface Team! Your work will be appreciated for many years.

The entire process was smooth and seamless, and the final result looks outstanding. Their dedication to quality and customer service is clearly reflected in their work.   Thanks to Brett, Mark and Angel for all the great work. Love the new skylights with automatic shades. Roof looks great. Any issues or questions were dealt with quickly. Prices were slightly higher compared to others, but the results and service was great.
