  I am very disappointed with my experience with All Coast Roofing. I scheduled multiple appointments for a roof repair project, and they failed to show up every single time without any prior notice or communication.

  Do not use All Coast Roofing. Was quoted one price for a gutter downpipe installation, then when the final invoice arrived it was 50% higher. When I disputed the additional charges (offered to pay original quoted price) I was referred to a collection agency. Multiple delays with no explanations, workmanship was subpar and I had to do multiply repairs to siding. Would not recommend.

  We are disappointed to read this review, as it does not accurately reflect the facts of this project. To be clear, you are correct that the labour portion of the quoted price was $800. However, the quote was $800 plus materials, not $800 all-inclusive. The materials required to complete the work were always separate from the labour cost. This was clearly communicated in writing before any work was performed, and you replied, “sounds good,” confirming your acceptance of those terms. The final invoice was $1,154.88 including GST, reflecting the agreed labour and the materials required to complete the installation. Suggesting that the invoice was “50% higher than quoted” ignores the fact that the quote explicitly included additional material costs, which were approved in advance. Unfortunately, Google does not allow businesses to post screenshots or supporting documentation in review responses. If it did, we would be happy to share the written correspondence confirming that the work was approved at $800 plus materials prior to commencement. Regarding collections, this was never our preferred outcome. After the work was completed and the materials were supplied and installed, you refused to pay the agreed amount and advised us to send the account to collections if we were unwilling to accept the amount you wanted to pay. In an effort to resolve the matter, we offered two separate discounts, both of which were declined. We also chose not to pursue interest on the overdue account despite being entitled to do so under our invoice terms. Ultimately, businesses cannot provide approved labour and materials free of charge. Once the work had been completed and the materials supplied, we had no reasonable alternative but to pursue collection of the outstanding balance. We also note that this review is the first time we have heard any allegation regarding damage to siding or the need for siding repairs.   Did work that he was not qualified to do. The workmanship was faulty and this resulted in massive damage/ mold and moisture in the entire upstairs of our home. The moisture was caused by the chimney exhaust venting directly into our attic space and exposing my entire family to carbon monoxide. This could have killed my entire family. Alex sent his guys over once to look at the issue and "fix" it ... they sprayed flammable expanding foam onto a hot metal chimney cap that they had installed. Alex did not contact his insurance until a month had passed, leaving us to deal with the disaster on our own. Our family (two young children - one with a disability) was living without heat and hot water (in December 2021) as an hvac inspector had to shut the gas off to our home as it was unsafe. We had to move out of our home while work was being done and the heat was off for nearly two weeks during the coldest time of the year. We had to pay for all the repairs ourself and have been waiting for 10 months now and paying the interest on the loans ($5000 just in interest) that we had to take out to cover all the costs associated with the damage. It is now October 2022 and we still haven't heard a thing from his insurance provider. I asked Alex if he could cover the interest of these loans and he flat out refused. This isn't a surprise as he has not attempted to help our family through this entire nightmare. He did ask me to remove my review while the insurance was being sorted out. I obviously will not remove my review and hope that others read our experience and decide to avoid dealing with Alex and All Coast Roofing.

  Alex and his roofing team did an outstanding job reroofing our home on the Northshore. From the start, his quote was detailed and transparent, offering options for cost savings, warranty upgrades, roofline features, and a wide colour palette for shingles and downspouts, as well as a leaf guard options. Alex provided addresses of previous roofing projects in our area so we could see colors and finishes in real life. Alex provided an expected start date well in advance, so we knew the project was on schedule. His crew of friendly people worked efficiently and completed high quality craftmanship ahead of the rain. We later requested some additional work, that was handled quickly despite poor weather. If you’re looking for a reliable roofing contractor on the North Shore or the Lower Mainland, we highly recommend Alex and his team. Professional, fast, and high-quality roofing services!

  Can't say enough good things about All Coast Roofing. Alex did a great job assessing and bidding on the work, and the office was good about communicating scheduling in this bad weather season. Chris and Caitlyn, who did the work, were absolutely great in walking me through what was going with the repairs, which turned out to be a bit more complicated than initially thought. The price was quite fair for all the work. You're in good hands with this group.

  All Coast Roofing came to my house at the busiest time of the and in a moment's notice. Chris and Shane were professional and respectful inside and outside my house. They found the root cause of my leak really quickly and repaired it just as fast. It's been just under a month since they repaired it and I haven't had any issues yet - even with the latest wind and rain storm. Thanks for the help guys!
