  I'm posting this review from an account not associated with a name that Absolute would know due to the fear of retribution from the Cult of Scientology!!! My partner recently had a representative from Absolute Roof Solutions come give an assessment of our reroof project as well as a quote. We compared their quote and scope of work with others in the market (two other well known and well reviewed roofing companies) and we found Absolute was much costlier for the same work and the same materials. Through our conversations with the rep, we also found out that they use sub contractor installers, not their own in house employees and that was a red flag for us. We are very thorough when making a big ticket purchase and the most off putting thing about Absolute was Doug Kerr, the owner. He is a high ranking Scientologist and that was a glaring red flag for us (research online about Scientology yourself and make your own decision). We went through the resumes and googled some of the key personnel on the Absolute website and we found alarming news about Patrick Stojak, the Business Development Manager. He is also a high ranking Scientologist but even more alarming, he was implicated in a scheme where him and his brother stole MILLIONS OF DOLLARS from an investor in a real estate deal. All in all, these people seem shady and dishonest and I would never trust them with my home or my money!!!

  We had a disappointing experience with Absolute Roof Solutions. Our roof, over 20 years old, needed replacement. After speaking with Daniel, we agreed to pay a $236.25 inspection fee. The crew arrived promptly the next day and completed the inspection, which went smoothly. We were told by a contractor that we would receive a quote within three days. However, more than a week passed with no response. Despite calling Absolute Roof Solutions multiple times, we only received vague assurances. Eventually, we lost confidence and politely requested a refund, as we never received an estimate and felt the service was incomplete. After several more phone calls, Absolute Roof Solutions declined to refund our money, citing that the inspection had been performed. While the inspection did occur, it ultimately offered little value without the promised estimate. In the end, we paid $236.25 simply to be told that our aging roof needed replacement. Mistakes can happen, but how a company responds speaks volumes. Unfortunately, Absolute Roof Solutions did not demonstrate reliability or professionalism when things did not go as planned.

We would, however, like to clarify that the inspection fee covered the on-site assessment of your roof, photographs, and professional evaluation performed by our technician. The proposal itself was to be provided at no additional charge. After the inspection, our assessment determined that your roof was nearing the end of its service life but still had a few years left. At your request, we began preparing a replacement proposal. While we understand your frustration with the delay, the inspection service was completed as agreed, which is why the inspection fee was not refundable. We regret that we were unable to complete the quoting process before you chose to pursue other options, and we wish you the very best with your roofing project.

  I have absolutely nothing against Absolute. I see they just got an award. I have to post this for a heads up to potential customers as it has been bothering me for a couple of months. One of their guys came to our home on November 6 to see about a leak that occurred during the atmospheric river. We have a tile roof. They charged $236.50 for an estimate. They were on the roof for maybe 20 minutes. The nice young man (and he was nice) came down and told us we need a new roof as it was installed improperly and it would cost $40,000 to 50,000 and would take a number of days to do. I told him that wasn’t going to happen. We’ve been living here for 25 years with no leaks. He then said he could put up a 20 x 30 foot tarp over the roof and replace it as needed. Again I said no. He then said he could probably fix the leak for $2677.50 with no guarantee. I got another estimate (free) from another highly rated company. They sent two journeymen roofers because they were in the area. They said the roof was in excellent shape, it was put on properly, that 80 to 90% of the tile roofs in the Lower Mainland were put on that way and it was the best way to put it on, and they could fix the leak for $829.50 while they were there. So we did this. They were so mad about our interaction with Absolute that they wrote me a letter confirming their opinion with their bill. Here's part of the letter: "With 20 years experience working with concrete tiles, we see concrete tile roofs, like yours, lasting into the 70+ years. (our house was built in 1992) Yes it is not shiny and new but it will continue to keep the water out if and when regular attention is paid to it. A simple inspection every 2-3 years is a good start." I advised Absolute of this and told them I was going to give a heads up on the internet to potential customers. The young man called me shortly thereafter and said in his professional opinion the roof had been installed wrong and needed to be replaced and he stood

  Customer service was utterly deplorable. Extremely poor communication, constant over talking and they are deleting all negative reviews from Facebook thereby misleading potential new customers. I would never ever recommend this company. One star is too good for them; I would go negative stars if I could.

  This gentleman wanted a free roof inspection for his Surrey property. He became upset at being informed that he would have to pay our inspection fee and wait for an appointment window to open due to the travel time to his location. He was unprofessional, belligerent and insulting to our customer service representative who successfully deals with hundreds of clients and prospective clients a month. She didn't deserve this and shouldn't have to tolerate it. A pretty scathing review considering we didn't do any work for this gentleman and our only contact was a few minutes of conversation on the phone.

  I had this company replace my roof years ago. Each fall, my roof leaks. My floor is getting ruined, and the multiple leaks are disastrous. Gregory Scrimbit has come by to do nothing except tell me 'there's issues up there'. Do not hire this company! I'm a single mother with an adopted boy, who requires a great deal of my attention, not to mention my long work days at home. Beware of this company. The owner doesn't care. I'm preparing my lawsuit!

  We recently got a new roof from Absolute Roof Solutions. The process may not have been particularly relaxing, but it was a pleasure to meet Kevin and the many skilled, hard-working people who made it happen. The result is a very good roof. Charles K.

  Ondrej did a great job assessing my roof on a house we just purchased. The report was detailed and the quote given to repair was fair. I would recommend this company and would continue to use them.

  I wanted to share my recent experience with Absolute Roof. One of their employees was able to come through to my house recently to take a look at my roof and attic as we'd recently moved in. He was extremely professional and recommended a proper inspection to seal up a couple of small gaps but was able to thoroughly explain everything that he'd found and his recommendations. A few days later, their team was able to come by and get on the roof, patch up any small spots and wrap up the job extremely quickly. The experience was very positive and professional, they gave me a great quote and performed all the work faster than I expected. They never tried to upcharge or upsell me anything and gave me an even longer time frame before next service than I expected. 5/5!

  We had a great experience with Kizi and Junga, who demonstrated total professionalism and skill while assessing, quoting, and fixing our complex roof. Kizi's quote was clear and detailed, and she explained to me (with photos) why the work was needed. I checked the materials in her quote, they were very similar to retail pricing - a relief, since another company's quote for materials was inflated a shocking 8x. They were extremely tidy and fastidious about their work, quiet, and cleaned up completely before they left. You could tell they enjoyed working together. I would not hesitate to recommend Absolute, and Kizi and Junga, for any roof repair or maintenance.

  We contacted Absolute Roofing to assess our aging roof. We spoke to Josh who was very personable and knowledgeable. He came to our home to check our issues and later came back with a thorough and well organized written presentation.   Amazing experience. Had a large skylight installed. Cannot say enough good things about the team overall, from sales (Colby) to installation (Ondrej). Quotes were accurate and flexible. Installation dates were met without question or concern. Communication was top notch on every step of the process. They left the site 100% clean and followed all safety protocols. In these times with so many underwhelming contractors, overcharging for subpar quality, Absolute Roof showed me that professionalism still exists.

  Absolute Roofing recently completed the re-roofing of my North Vancouver home, and overall I had a positive experience with the crew. Kizi did a pretty thorough job with the chimney repair and the initial investigation. Project manager Kevin was also responsive and kept me well informed throughout the project, providing updates and following up on questions in a timely manner. The area that could be improved was coordination between the sales/takeoff team and the site crew to ensure sufficient materials are delivered on time. There were a few occasions where the crew ran out of materials such as shingles, ridge caps, or flashing, which resulted in some delays to the work. I would also suggest using more protective tarps around landscaping and active work areas. While the crew performed a magnetic sweep, I still found quite a bit of roofing nails and debris scattered throughout the yard afterward. For households with pets or young children, additional protection and cleanup would provide extra peace of mind.

  06/11/26 - Apparently you can't have more than one review on Google. In any case, just got my roof done by Absolute Roof Solutions and it's VERY clear, they only hire people who care and are incredibly detailed. The team of Ondrej and Ajay were amazing and went above and beyond. Our roof was cleaned, de-mossed and prepped to ensure the moss doesn't return. Our roof will last years because of the attention to detail that both Ondrej and Ajay provided today. I love the professional yet friendly experience I had with Ondrej and Ajay, and I can't explain enough how much I would recommend Absolute Solutions and will use them again in the future. Thank you to Ondrej and Ajay and the rest of Absolute Roofing Solutions. A year Ago - Carlos from Absolute Roof Solutions, reiterates why I will always request for his help whenever we have any issues with our roof. I have said this before, but Carlos is not only, always professional and friendly, but more importantly, he always treats the project like he's working on his home home.   We used Absolute Roof Solutions to have moss removed from our home and garage roofs, May 27 and 28, 2026.. They did a thorough roof inspection for their free quote, which included before photos of our roofs, and a clear description of how the moss would be removed. Our house is full two story with a peaked roof, so it was not an easy job. They completed the job in a day and a half, and left our property extremely clean (cleaner than it was!). The follow up included a full set of photos of the cleaned roofs, and bonus ... all eaves were cleared as well. I would not hesitate to use this company again, and I highly recommend them to anyone with roof issues. The price for this project was reasonable, and the team of two cleaning the moss were very pleasant and professional.
