Not a roofing company we would recommend. Claims he's been in business 5+ years but public records state otherwise (closer to 8 months per the State, see image), doesn't seem to know anything about building code requirements as it pertains to roofing. Also doesn't have an actual business office, apparently his business address is also his home, so I blocked the address from the attached image. We asked a couple of questions to see what he he knew (my family has been in commercial construction for three generations, so we're very well versed on code) and instead of saying he wasn't sure and would find out for us, he chose to give us responses that weren't completely accurate. We feel that it's okay to not know things off the top of your head, we're all human. Be honest and tell people you don't know but you'll find out for them. No one will be mad at you for that. We decided to go with a different contractor because we felt like if he wasn't going to be honest about that, we couldn't be sure what else he would be dishonest about. Chris seems like a great guy and we wish him the best, but needs to learn more about the trade and not be afraid to say "I'm not sure, but I'll find out for you".

Hi there, we believe this is a Spam review to begin with. Just want to clear up a quick misunderstanding for anyone reading: Alabama Roof Detectives, LLC has never claimed the company has been in business for 5+ years. We’ve only ever said that owner Chris has over 5 years of hands-on roofing experience — which is true and something we’re proud of! Our roofing crew has over 20 years of combined experience in roof replacements and repairs, ensuring every job is done with true expertise and care. We’re a newer company built on years of real-world expertise, fully licensed, insured, and focused on doing right by Central Alabama homeowners. Happy to answer any questions — give us a call anytime at 205-826-4915. Thanks for trusting local roofers who care! – Chris & the Alabama Roof Detectives team

Chris and his team did a beautiful job on our roof. He was informative and, literally, on the job while his team worked hard getting the work done, and the work was completed quickly and thoroughly. He and his whole team were mindful of our needs and courteous while the work was going on. We are well pleased...just completely satisfied with our new roof. We recommend ’Roof Detectives’ for your roofing needs. Ronnie and Kay Stephens

Very Professional Business. Upfront pricing and detailed contract. Certified installer that does very quality work. Goes above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy through the whole process. If you go with a contractor that writes your contract on a napkin, run away and call Alabama Roof Detectives!!

We had a tree fall on our powerline in March and left a huge mess in our back yard. Chris was very helpful from the beginning, providing an estimate, follow up calls, and reasonable to negotiate with the work that needed done! They had it all cleared out in a days work! Highly appreciated and would recommend them for any tree removal services.
