  It was a great price, if the job had been done correctly. What I mean by that is in December of 2021, we had our roof put on and they had the best price of anyone out there going. However, we found out 3 1/2 years later, in August of 2025, when we were having major issues with our gutters, we started seeing water stains on our ceiling. I called another local roofing company out to give me an estimate and see what they thought about our situation. They took pictures and inspected, and came to the conclusion that there were dozens of discrepancies and issues with the way the roof was put on. They gave us pictures and ended the estimate with the fact that drip edge was never put on our roof next to the gutters, though on our invoice our insurance company was charged for it. Philip's crew came came out eventually and put the drip edge on, but because it was put on years later we now have extensive damage and are going to have to get this resolved through taking legal action against Affordable Roofing / Philip Flaugher. I was also told that putting drip edge on was a "no-brainer" thing to do, and should always be done to keep every typical roof up to code.

  ******Update: now 5 years later we are having problems. The fascia on the front of the house behind the gutter is rotten. We have a leak in our primary bedroom ceiling and around the top of the window trim. We originally thought the problem was the gutters so we had someone come and look. Our gutters are perfect. The gentleman took one look and said you have no drip edge. Our contract with affordable roofing clearly shows drip edge was ordered and installed and it was signed by myself and Tim. But it wasn't. With no drip edge all the water from the roof was running behind the gutter which calls the rotten fascia and caused water to back up into the house in the primary bedroom causing the watermarks on the ceiling and water to come into above the window. Philip came out and looked and said we will work it out he offered us to split the difference. We would pay half the cost of the drip edge he would pay half the cost of the drip edge. 600.00 each. We said absolutely not because the drip edge was included in the contract and should have been stalled when the roof was installed because it was not we now have damages incurred. He said he understood that he would come install drip edge and fix and repair all damages caused by not having the drip edge. His team came and installed the drip edge after repeatedly making sure there seems to be no more water coming into the house. He has now refused to do nothing else to our roof or house to fix the problems. Do not ever do business with this company because in the end you will be the one that pays for it. We are in the process of legal action. I am leaving the previous review so that you can see the difference in service before and after the fact. ******** Recommended by a family friend. Tim came out and gave us an estimate. He climbed on the roof, went in the attic, and took tons of pictures and measurements whereas the other companies we called looked at the roof from the road and said we will call you.   I contacted this company to give me an estimate on my roof, which a guy named Tim called me and told me he would come by and look at it that day, I texted him several ties and even called him with no response so after several attempts I called the company itself and spoke to someone else and told him and Tim called me back immediately after that and said he was working on quote and he would get back to me that Friday which he never did so after that I called the company again to see what was going on and only then did Tim call me and i finally got an quote I told him I told him to call me in a couple of days and we could proceed. Well to make a long story short that was the first of July and he never called back. If there is no communication before the job I’m sure there is no communications after the job

  I called to get an estimate for a leak. The lady was all giddy. As soon as I told her I lived in Slater Marietta she grew cold and said they didn't have time to work with me. I felt like she was being discriminatory. I make 100k a year. I'm a church lady and have lived in my home 49 years. Rude people.

  This is the fakest review I’ve ever read. Kathy has a heart of gold. And no one here would ever turn down work because it was in Slater Marietta. We live in Pickens and the owner goes to church in Marietta. This is absolutely absurd and I’m going to get this removed.

  Because they gave my wife a run around for two weeks and then when I spoke to them and explain the problem when they found out that I had other estimates they said they couldn’t help me if I could give them less than one star I would

  Tim came out for a roof inspection on our home and was very nice guy and very professional. Said my roof was in good condition but he found a couple of screws that were not sealed around but he went back up and sealed them for me at no cost. Very good experience with this company

  I found Tim and his company on Google so I reached out to him due to a possible leak in my roof. He’s very professional, honest , and communicates well. He came out to review the issue and even followed up with me afterwards. Being a homeowner can be stressful at times but Tim being helpful and professional makes it easier

  Tim gave us exceptional service. We thought we needed a new roof and Tim told us we just needed some routine maintenance. He was so polite and nice. He saved us a lot of money. He was very responsive and got the job done within a day. We highly recommend him.

  Called after Helene, Jay came out same day and looked at roof and gave me a price. He sent me a quote and they got me within a week. They did what they said they were going to do when they said they would do it. The guys did good job didn't leave a mess. Up front about everything no surprise charges. Highly recommend.

  A tree fell on my house during hurricane Helene around I called DURING the hurricane and left a message. They called back I about an hour. They were here same day cutting the tree and tarping the roof and doing an inspection. Crew was here today to remove rest of tree. These guys are on it. ROOF Work of course is not finished yet, thiere was a hurricane Yesterday, and a lot of people had trees through roofs, but so far we are so impressed with these guys.
