  Horrible job,,one after my roof leaked around my chimney..he said they don't guarantee flashing,,now five years five years later I find out that when they removed my old shingles they also pulled out nails that kept the plywood down.. now I have spongy spots where the plywood is lifting..

  Their contract states: "We guarantee our workmanship for 10 full years". At year 8, when the roof leaked, I called and was told if the roof leaked due to a workmanship issue, it would have failed in the first year. Therefore, the leak must be due to lack of maintenance or storm damage. He refused to come out to inspect or repair the roof. He stated he was busy installing new roofs and does not do repair work. I found a different licensed roofing company willing to come out. The repair of exposed nails and a leaking pipe boot were required. Whether that's considered warranty work or not, A Cut Above Roofing refused help. Bottom-line, drop a zero on A Cut Above Roofing's 10 Year Warranty!

  Mr. Bentley, I am sorry there was some confusion. I had said I would contact you if there were any issues with the warrantied items. I did go out and look at the roof and found that the issues were not due to anything that was a warranty item. The roof was eight years old and the leak was due to wear on the roof. Warranties do not cover storm, high wind, or impact damage. It can be voided if there is alterations to the roof after it was installed. I would be happy to talk to you more about why it was not covered by the warranty.

  Unfortunately, I can't review the work of this business. However, I can review the lack of communication and follow-up. The owner came out to quote a screened porch, and while here pointed out some issues with our roof. We had purchased the home under a year prior. I told him I would speak with my husband about the roof, as it seemed we needed to just replace all of it. He called back and gave me the quote, and when we agreed on the price, we also made an agreement for him to send out his roofers to fix the issues at hand at a sooner date than the porch addition. He told me approximately 6 weeks on the porch. That was March 13, 2020. As of today, May 27, 2020.. I have not heard from him about the roof or the porch. I have contracted another company to completely roof our home and am working on another business to do the porch.

  We had Cut Above Roofing replace our roof and 5 skylights. The owner, Robert Smith's team did a great job, removing the existing shingles, repairing water damaged areas, and installing the GAF Roofing System and shingles. Robert is a GAF certified Master Elite certified installer, this matters as he provides a better than average warranty from GAF and you know the job was done right. His team did a fantastic job of clean up. I went out for multiple bids for the job and Cut Above was the most competitive. I would also mention Robert is a great communicator and is quick to return calls or texts. We couldn't be happier!

  A Cut Above did a great job. They've done 2 separate homes for me within the last 5 years and both have been done very well. Their estimates were completely accurate and they explained all the parts of the process. I did not even need to be home for them to be able to work. Would recommend.

  What an amazing service from start to finish. Great pricing, great service and even better finished product. Replacing a roof due to storm damage is a frustrating & traumatic experience but Robert and his team were Very friendly, helping me to get through this event. My roof is looking great and will last.

  A Cut Above did an excellent job from the bidding process to completion of the job. The owner answered all my questions and walked the roof during the bidding process. I considered that important vs an app doing the estimate. I also considered it important that Robert had been in the business of roofing since he began working at the age of 12..... so he has seen it all. The crew was local and the lead /foreman has been with A Cut Above for 12 years. He is an expert roofer Moving on to the installation I was impressed at how neat the crew keep the area as they worked all shingles and other removal roof items were picked up and when they left the first day everything was completely cleaned up. My roof was 23 years old and had two layers of shingles and when removed they found three places where the plywood was rotten. Of course they repaired those before proceeding. At the end of the second day I had a beautiful new roof. Robert showed up midday to make sure I was happy with the progress and I was. Around 6pm the second day they were done and cleaned up for about an hour.... noting was left no old nails or other material from removing the old tiles. It was an excellent job in every way.... start to finish. When you bid your job be sure and give Robert a chance to bid your job. From my view and experience you will not be disappointed.

  We recently had to have our roof replaced. We had A Cut Above Roofing do the job. They were very prompt, professional and the crew did an impressive roofing job. They cleaned up after the job so well, one would never know they'd been there, except for the beautiful roof installed. Would highly recommend A Cut Above Roofing to anyone needing a new roof!

  We live 2 hours away from a house we needed to have the roof replaced on. Robert was accommodating of our schedule for meeting for a quote. We received a fair price and ultimately chose to move forward. It didn’t take very long to get us on the schedule. The roof was replaced within 2 days and looks great.
