They did okay on the initial reshingle job but they want to charge me 250 dollars every time the vents and flashing need to be resealed… very poor customer service and just out for the money. Passed up a repeat customer for a maintenance …

Very disappointing experience. I waited over a week for someone to come out and provide a quote, but they never showed up. When I called to follow up, they hung up on me instead of addressing the issue. This was extremely unprofessional and a complete waste of my time. I understand that schedules can change, but basic communication and respect for customers are important. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.

An A. Clark crew replaced my roof and attic ventilation covers in fall 2015 and the job looked fine on the surface. We discovered 5:years later that the crew had covered up already inadequate ventilation holes without bringing it to anyone's attention. That shoddy workmanship (cover it up and noone will ever know) is unacceptable in my view when you hire what are supposed to be professionals. A Clark' response was essentially the workmanship guarantee period had expired by the time I had noticed and brought it to their attention. They did offer a complimentary interior attic inspection, and when we went to accept that offer this fall /last week, they shuffled me off hence this review. In the winter of 2018/19 we had interior water dripping through door jams in our house, called attic rain. Due to extremely cold and extended low temperatures a *poorly vented attic* will ice up under the interior roofing sheathing and when it warms up it melts and drips, as was the case in March 2019. So why was our attic poorly vented? In late fall of 2020, I went up on the roof to investigate and to install two Maxi Vents to drastically improve ventilation, as the four 55 in2 vents already in place (apparently "code") were clearly not doing the job. What I found was the original roof installer in 1992 had bashed a ventilation hole with his hammer in the sheathing in the first place blocked by a rafter, which ventilation was further reduced by the A Clark roofer who cut an opening in the underlayment ~3 x 5" (so about 15 in2 when there should been 55in2 of ventilation). What extra effort would it have taken the crew to ensure the roof vent openings were indeed 8.25"x6.5" to match the 55in2 vents being re-installed? When I hire a roofing company my expectation is they are looking out for me and the longevity of my property. I don't feel they did. The photo with the underlayment showing is the ~15in2 A Clark left for ventilation (should have been 55in2). The 12x12" patch expo

Our shingles started flying off our roof after less than 2 years of living in the house. The "warranty" is only 2 years from the time they installed the roof, not the time we actually lived there.. which of course means we only get just over a year of warranty. On top of that, when we did get our roof fixed, the person who fixed it said they overlapped the shingles which caused this to occur and will continue to occur. I'm glad we paid a huge some of money to build our house only to find out that they did a crap job and won't even cover for their own mistakes.. Good job guys..

Contacted them on June 18 for a minor fix to my roof due to the ridiculous high winds that we had earlier in the month. Due to the job being pretty minor, Krista hooked me up right away. So appreciated. Fella came out and fixed in a couple hours. Thanks so much for the fantastic service

Dave, from A Clark, came to our place to do a roofing inspection. He was friendly, smart, funny and informed and he was even right on time! That's rare. He walked our entire roof and gave a point by pointing honest assessment, saying that any work at this time would be unnecessary. That was really impressive. He could have told us otherwise and we would have believed him but he chose to be honest and straight up, Given his manner and his honesty we will definitely seek Dave and A. Clark out when the time for renovations comes. Happily, that time isn't right now.

I contacted this company for an issue with my skylight. There was a prompt response, and Dave came out to take a look at it right away. He presented me with potential problems, potential solutions, and I have to say it was probably the best customer service I’ve had in a long time. Would highly recommend.
